"Thank you." The man said to Edmund before taking a deep breath bracing himself. 'Well here it goes...now or never...' He thought to himself.
"I have come to Narnia seeking an old friend of mine...a friend I have not seen in a couple years....With that in mind I look a lot different and sound a lot different than I once did but it is still my hope he might recognize me..."
"Who is this friend of yours?" Peter asks.
He gulped nervously closing his eyes tightly for a moment before opening them and saying "It's you, Peter."

Peter seemed completely shocked as well. He didn't know this Telmarine, So how is it that he claimed to know him.
"You must have me mistaken with someone else." Peter says.
"No. I can never forget a friend." The man insisted.
"I don't know you." Peter argued.
"Not like this no."
"What are you talking about? Who are you?" Peter demanded.
"Ethan. Ethan Hunter." He replied with a proud smile.
Peter stared in complete shock. Ethan Hunter was the name of a friend of his back in their world who had died a couple years ago. There was no way this....this imposter was his friend! It had to be some kind of trick.

"This....imposter....claims to be my old friend Ethan from back home." Peter says coldly to Susan to hide the pain he felt.
After Ethan had died he had forced himself to forget all about him including all the memories they had had together and locking it away forever in the back of his mind until now.
"I am not an imposter! I am telling you the truth! I am Ethan!"
