"Look!" Kate whispered pointing to Humphrey's tail sticking out of the bush and went to go investigate biting down on it and yanking Humphrey out of the bush.

The presence of an animal's pointy teeth pinning down on Humphrey's tail strike the omega pup to yelp a painful cry. "AAAH!!" He yelled as he was being pulled out from the bush. "DON'T EAT ME!!" He coward with his paws on top of his head. But when he saw that he was still there, he look behind and saw it was Kate who grab him.
"Oh hi Kate! Can you let go of my tail?" He tells her.

Kate blinked in surprise at finding the wolf hiding in the bush to be Humphrey before spiting his tail out of her mouth.
"What are you doing here?" She asked him.

"I was getting a fresh start!" Humphrey half lied. He didn't think that Kate meant his brothers, and not them.

"They are? Darn! I should of said chipmunks!" Humphrey thought, but was surprised how smart Kate knew that he was just telling a fib. "How you know I was lying?" He asks her.
