Lance had been secretly listening in to the conversation between Attina and Merlin. Despite her words against him hurting he did not blame her for it. He knew what it was like for the life you had been living your entire life to change drastically and often wished himself for things to go back to normal but he also knew his old life was gone forever and would not come back and willingly accepted it. Besides having Gwaine and Merlin around made him feel a little better but he also wasn't going to make Merlin chose whether to have him around or Attina, if it came to that he would willingly bow out, she had been there first after all.
He kept up his conversation with Gwaine so no one would know he had heard them talking and smirked rolling his eyes at Gwaine's comment of his charm.
He turned to stare at Gwen and couldn't help smile as he felt his heart fluttering in his chest.
"Well met." He replied warmly.
