The next morning, Lance called Merlin on the way to the airport with Gwaine to tell him that he and Gwaine were going to meet up with Zedd in Scotland for a mission. He didn't bother telling Merlin it was a dangerous one just as he didn't tell Gwaine not wanting Merlin to worry and asking him to check in on Gwen every now and again when he and Attina weren't busy since he didn't know exactly how long they would be gone yet.

Hey Merlin. It's Lance. Just wanted to let you know Gwaine and I are off to Scotland to join Zedd on a mission.
We will be back soon so please try not to worry. However I do have one favor to ask. Can you check on Gwen when you and Attina aren't busy? And I'm sure Gwaine would like you to check on Morgana as well.
