That night, Merlin wakes up from the sound of his phone. He answers it and takes out of the room so not to wake Attina. " Gwaine? What? Lance? " He frowns. " Where you?"
"It got Lance man, I need you for Team Emrys baby bro" Gwaine says.

Attina woke when she felt something was wrong and woke up to find Merlin no longer in bed beside her. Concerned slightly, she got slipped on a robe and walked out of the room standing in the doorway listening to Merlin's conversation down the hall. She didn't catch the whole conversation she could hear the concern in his voice as he asked 'where are you?' and knew he was either talking to Gwaine or Lance and that something had happened.

"Don't worry Merlin. I'll protect you." She replied teasingly. She was a cop after all, married or not, and wasn't about to let that be forgotten. It wasn't as if she was defenseless after all.
