Surely though, if there were a secret they were hiding from the Fa Family, then why keep it away from her and the rest of the Furious Five for?
"Then one of you will have to spy on them and see what they're up to!" Tigress said, not only to Shang, but also to Mulan as well. The tiger had to think carefully on who to send out to listen onto the pandas' secrets. It either had to be Mulan or Shang.
"You should go! If they set up a secret meeting, listen to what they have to say and return back to us with the news you overheard on." Tigress finally answer, giving her decision over to Mulan. Knowing too well that Shang will have to denied his wife about being the scouting helping hand, Tigress had to quickly tell Shang why he didn't get picked for it. "I'd send you out, but you'll make everything worse if you get caught!"

"And who says I would get caught?" Shang replied bitterly.
"No. It's alright Shang. I think Tigress has a pretty good idea. Besides I would feel better if you were here to watch the twins until I got back." Mulan told him.
"Fine but know that I am only agreeing for them." Shang mumbled.
Mulan smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I know." She told him before adding "I'll be right back." to Tigress before sneaking off in the direction she had last seen Po and Shifu leave in.

Unknowning for the red panda and the giant panda that their private conversion will be spied by the heroine herself, Po had found his way in the kitchen getting his drink of water like he told Tigress he would be getting some. The dragon warrior was real serious about washing the taste off from his mouth and he didn't really want to be walking around in the palace all nighty with anyone smelling it.
On the other side to that, Shifu needed to speak with Po one last time before anyone else would be bothering him, so he started to look for him. Eventually, he came to finding the dragon warrior in the kitchen.
"PSST! Po!" He whispers.
"Hmm? Oh master Shifu! You needed to see me?" Po asks after he got done drinking.
"Yes! Come outside of the kitchen. Hurry!" He says, keeping his voice low. Po walk out of the kitchen. "I thought you were going to ya know.....do your inner peace thing..." Po begin saying.
Shifu sighed. "I was, I mean was trying to focus, but I...I-I-I...I can't think Po!"
"I see. Are you still feeling bad about the....." Po check to make sure no one might of been in the room listening with them, then whispers to Shifu the last words to him. "you know what....thing?"
"YES!!" Shifu hissed.
"Well uhh between just the two of us, I think Tigress is makin' her way to the point that she KNOWS we're hiding a secret!" Po says without any whispering to put in.
"You haven't told them since you were send home have you?" Shifu asks so he make sure of it.
"Nah-uh! Why? Should I?" Po says.
"NO! But it's good you didn't. I wouldn't want them to become a part of this." Shifu said just so he was being pretty honest about it.
"Boy heh, did Shang look MAD when you said you let Junjie and Fenghuang stay. I gotta hand it to you Shifu, you know how to surprise someone!" Po says, still thinking how that pissed off look Shang had on his face.
"Po please, I do NOT want to talk about the general right now!" Shifu says, feeling angry just even thinking about Shang's name being brought up. "He's made me SO furious, I don't know how much more I can take!"
"SHHH! Shifu! Inside voice!!" Po shushed him. He would hate to be caught if someone were to hear him talking with that tone.
"Your right! I'm sorry! A little time away from him will do us some good!" Shifu says, calming down at once. Po had certainly hope the red panda wasn't gonna try and plan on avoiding Shang. He knew his master and the general were very good friends right up from the start, and he wouldn't want to see one of them get hurt if their friendship were to be broken over some secret they were still trying to hide off.
"Shifu, do you get the feeling we're being watched?" Po asks, checking again if anyone was still hiding around, but wasn't so sure if now was a good thing to look.
"No." Shifu says, wondering what got the giant panda feeling liked they were being spied on for.
"Oh! Hmm probably just the wind. I guess I'm feeling a little jumpy." Po apologizes.
"Now remember Po--"
"I know I know! Don't tell them. And don't tell the Five either right?" Po says going through the reminder.
"Your memorizing! That's good, panda!" Shifu says, seeing how the panda was making great progress into remembering.
"Yeah! I got rooms of all KINDS of information store in here!" Po spoke proudly, pointing to his head.

'So we we're right. They are up to something....but what?' mulan thought to herself as she silently spied on them unseen and unheard using one the secret hidden areas to the kitchen giving her a good view of them but also preventing them from seeing her.
She knew about the spot since Shang had shown it to her and trio once and many other secret evacuation areas should the palace ever be under attack and they were trapped inside. Po and the others didn't know about it because Shang and the others hadn't shown it to them as they didn't think it necessary.

After the pandas were done with their private chatting talk, Po return back to the kitchen to get some more water to drink. He was half way finish til from that very corner where Mulan was hiding, he spitted out his water from surprised.
"MULAN?!!?" Cried Po. "Uh-oh! What do I do? Ooh I know! Get Shifu! Nah-uh. Better not, if I leave her now, she might tell on me. Ugh come on, Po! THINK!" The giant panda wonder, thinking of what to do since trying to figure out what to do next made him so worry. Since there was too much stress going on from his brain, he had to made up two choices. Either go and get Shifu or not. But if he didn't, what would he do with Mulan?
Po gulped and try to act cool like nothing wrong was airing about. "Mulan!" He finally said trying to keep calm. "What uhh....what are you--wait?! How did you get in here without--?" He begin asking since he didn't happened to see Mulan showing up in the kitchen without his knowledge of knowing it. That was when the panda notice from behind here, there was a secret doorway that led her in.
The panda gasped with amazement. "You came in here through that? That is AWESOME! Is there more just like this?" He asks excitedly walking towards it, taking a peek at it.

"sssh! Keep your voice down. And yes there are more. doesn't your palace have secret escape routes to use in case of an invasion?" Mulan replied as she slipped out of her hiding place as quietly as a mouse.

"Not like this they don't. I don't.....I don't think. I don't know." Po says, though thinking back, he lived at the Jade Palace since becoming dragon warrior and not once did Shifu or the five ever tell him about any secret hideouts they can sneak in from, so finding out there was more than just one from the emperor's palace brought the panda's excitement.
"Where does this lead to?" He asks her, before playfully giving it a little test. "Echo. ECHO!!!" He whispers, hearing his voice calling back. "COOL!" He brightfully beamed.

"Really? That's so---wait! So you're saying you follow us?!?!" Po asks, finally returning back to reality. "How long were you hiding in there?" He came to asking Mulan, feeling very surprised, but puzzled.

"Long enough." Shang spoke walking into the kitchen with his arms crossed. Heaing all of Po's echoing told him exactly where he large and loud panda was exactly.

"Here's a tip if you were hiding from invaders in one of those tunnels you would be the first to be caught and killed as the secret is being quiet when you're inside of them." Shang told him.

"Jeez, have you been hanging around with Shifu again? Cause that's the kind of attitude I'd be listening now from him if he was here." Po comments, knowing it's not the first time he's been scolded before. That he was used to hearing from his master, and not from the loud mouth of Mulan's rotten of a stubborn husband. However, this was the first time he begin comparing Shang over to Shifu.

Shifu was just right outside of the kitchen when he overheard the serious conversation Shang was having about with Po right now. It was easy just to hear anything pretty close with his big ears of his. When his name was brought up, the red panda became ticked off. Just as Shang and Mulan had just left, Shifu was standing right where they were just leaving.
"I heard what you said about me General! If anyone is going to be scolding the dragon warrior, it will be me OR Tigress! And if you can't be able to get that through your head, then you're not the leader I'd believe you were!" He told Shang seriously.
"WHOA! Shifu's never stood up for me before." Po says, impressed that his master would do such an incredible cool thing for him.
