The Misguided Journey (Mulan/Kung Fu Panda rp)

"Clearly you and Tigress haven't scolded him enough. Why don't you go check on those prisoners you insisted on keeping here?" Shang spoke bitterly not bothering to stop and face the red panda as he addressed him.

Mulan understood Shang's bitterness. He was ready to have everything go back to normal so he and Mulan could raise their newborn twins without the constant presence of the furious five, po, and shifu.

"Hey Shifu!" Po says, walking up to his master. "Yes?" Shifu replies, looking up to the giant panda after Shang and Mulan were gone.

"Thank you. You didn't have to go through that for me." He stated. "I know panda, but you are the dragon warrior. You should be treated with respect, even if there has to be scolding." Shifu answers, though he was still feeling upset from Shang's harshly bad behavior at him.

When it had came to dinner time, everyone was seated. Crane inform them that the emperor's guards would be keeping a watchful eye from Junjie and Fenghuang's room just so he can join the others to eat. Po still felt very awkward about what came between Shang and Shifu. The Furious Five didn't exactly question for what had happened, then they had a feeling it had something serious to do between their master and of course without any doubt, with Shang.

Po began to wonder, as he was eating, even if Fenghuang's wing did heal and she and Junjie were be able to leave, would ever come another chance for Shifu and Shang to make peace again? No. He highly didn't believe it would. And from the inside, it made him really sad cause he liked hanging out with his new friends.

But things started taking a turn for the worst when Junjie arrived alone without Fenghuang. "AHEM!"

"What are you doing out of the room?" Shifu begin. "Crane, didn't you said the guards were taking your place?" Viper whispers. "I did!" Crane replies. He didn't know that the red fox had sneaked away.

"Oh I thought I come out for a stroll..." Junjie began saying, then added. "And remind you, we have a deal Shifu! Didn't you agree to bring a warm comforting food would be deliver to our room?" He told him.

Shifu rolled his eyes and dug out one piece of food out of his plate and swung it over to Junjie for him to catch it. "There! You have it! Now LEAVE!" He order him.

The food that Junjie had caught from his paws happen to be nothing but just one dumpling. The fox glared at the red panda for giving him such little piece of scrap. But as he turn away to leave, he set out a quick idea to pissed off the red panda.

Remembering the uncomfortable situation he saw having with Shang earlier, Junjie threw away the dumpling he held and return back to the table where everyone was still eating. "Well this is still an amazing turn of events, wouldn't you agree?" He asks with a pleasing looking nice smile.

"Uhh don't you need to return to Fenghuang?" Po couldn't help asking him. "Oh you mean the feathery-winged angel who stole my heart?" Junjie answers, sighing with such a romantic love-struck look.

Thus, forcing Po to come back with another puking face. Everyone held a plate up to their face so they wouldn't get splatter, but luckily, Po stop the vomit before it could come out and he swallow it. Everyone from the table sighs in relief.

Junjie just shook his head seeing how he knew the panda would do that again. Next, he made himself a seat right next to Shang. Seeing that took Shifu by surprised that the food he was chewing almost nearly fell off from the tip of his mouth, but he caught himself just to prevent from looking rude to the others.

"So, that kick you deliver at me on the boat before was the fastest reflex I've seen." Junjie said, beginning his talk with Shang. "Which master did you train with?"

A sudden angry growl was pouring out from Shifu's furious looking face. He was so mad, that he forcefully pounded his chopstick deeply hard into his food.

"None of your business." Shang replied. He didn't trust Junjie after all.

"Uhh Shifu? Are you feeling all right?" Po had to ask. What should it matter if his master was ticked off Shang is being bother by his natural rival?

"FINE!?? I'M PERFECT!!" Shifu shouted, breaking his chopsticks in half. He couldn't look away. The more Junjie try making bonds with Shang, the more he wanted to rip him to shreds.

"He looks jealous to me." Chien Po whispered in Po's ear.

"That was gonna be my next guess." Po whispers back to Chien-Po.

"I can hear you two!" Shifu noted towards the giant panda and the big warrior. Nothing, not even just a token of whispering, can escape from the hearing of Shifu's big ears. "And I am NOT jealous!!!" The red panda denied.

"Says the one showing it!" Po mutters.

"Does every dinner event have to be awkward?" Monkey asks, though he couldn't stop watching either of the embarrassing turn of event.

"I bet you 5 yuan the next one will be twice the embarrassment than this!" Mantis told him, though he wasn't joking. He was growing very used to it.

"Make it 10 and you have yourself a deal!" Monkey agreed.

"Guys, don't be making money deals at the table!" Viper hissed, knowing that their money betting was now probably the bad time to happened.

Po, however was not listening between Mantis and Monkey's money bet like Viper was. His focus was still on between Shifu, Junjie and Shang.

"Oh, pay no attention to them! If you want REAL kung fu, my friend, you should train with me!" Junjie smiled at Shang, touching his arm. "Think about it! With me as your teacher, I can turn you into the greatest pupil in the world. And someone like you would be well fitted as master for the Sacred Onyx Council. What do you say? Hmm? Would you like that?"

"Uh-oh! That's not good!" Po mumbles, knowing now that sort of deal will just get Shifu even more upset and it did.

"HE'S BRIBING HIM!?!?! THAT DOES IT!!!" Shifu angrily screams in rage. He leaps out from the table and pounces right towards the fox, slamming him at the wall. "KEEP YOUR GREEDY LITTLE HANDS OFF THE GENERAL JUNJIE! HE'S MINE!"

"Wow! Didn't see that one coming!" Mantis says, surprised to hear those last selfish little words coming from out of Shifu's mouth.

"Yours? Hahaha! Did you actually THINK I would want to take away that hideous beast you've befriended since I've met him?" Junjie mocked.

"Well you did kind of offer to train him. We all heard it!" Po told him.

But all Junjie did was just laughed. "Haha! All of you are too easy to fool! I'm not interested. I decided I wanted to have a little fun, and you fell right for it Shifu!"

Shifu couldn't believe how cruel Junjie could be into tricking him all for nothing but for poking fun un-holey. "WHY YOU LITTLE---" Shifu was about to go in for the punch, but Po left out of his seat and grab Shifu away before doing any hard damage to Junjie. "Whoa! Take it easy Shifu!!" He says, trying to calm him, but the red panda was trying to struggle out of the dragon warrior's grip. "LET ME AT HIM!!!"

"Would you hold still?" Po grunted, trying to keep his master in tight. "Ugh! Okay Junjie, you had your fun, now could you leave? You're ruining everyone's time!" He told the fox.

"Mmm all right, but not until I get what I came here for; the food!!!" Junjie says.

"Here you can take mine!" Po says, reaching his bowl and giving it to Junjie. There wasn't much, but it was enough to feed him and Fenghuang for the night. "Now go!"

Junjie look at the leftovers from the bowl and shrugged. Seeing Shifu all mad was more than he ever wanted, so having the meal there was in the bowl, the fox left and return back to his room with the owl.

Po finally set Shifu back down. "WHY DID YOU LET HIM LEAVE!!?!!" His master begin shouting. "I could of taken him down! I could of--"

"What? Let your jealously get the best of you?" Po finishes for his master.

"I told you, I'm NOT jealous!!" He burst. "Look, whether you wanna admit it or not, I think you owned him apology. Cause that was, lemmie put in a way you'll understand, un-mastery of you?" Po convinced him.

Though it was hard in fact to hide his denyment, he realized the giant panda was correct. Shifu turn to Shang. "General, I'm sorry for my behavior. It was....not like me."

"Yeah, what was with the whole "MINE" thingy when you said it?" Mantis asks, finding it really weird as if Shifu almost thought he owned Shang.

"I acted out, I know. But I can assure you, this is NOTHING like the last dinner table when it happened to Tigress."

"WHAT?!!? GRRRR!!!" Tigress snarled. How dare her master try to compare her after the last huge scene that happened,

Mulan, Shang, and the princesses had quickly backed away from the table when the argument between Shifu and Junjie had rose to it's highest peak with the threat of a fight breaking out between them.

Shang's face was still red with embarrassment after the whole 'He's mine' comment and was too flustered to be able to reply.

"Actually Shifu I do believe Shang is mine." Mulan replied trying to make it sound like the comment had all been a big joke if only to lighten the mood a little as she held her twins in her arms.

"Yes! No, no I understand completely, but umm....it--it....I" Shifu babbles, getting more quite embarrassed than how Shang was feeling right now at this time.

"Ohhh, now I got it!" Po says, understanding why Shifu got jealous.

"Got what?" Shifu asks, who was little confused.

"Mulan mention to me something about you maybe worshiping Shang as a hero like I do with her." Po says, now remembering what Mulan had told her from before. "It makes perfect sense! You idolized Shang!"

"What?!!? No, I--"

"Oh come on! I didn't acted jealous on purpose to get YOUR attention when you bonded with Shang too well." Po replies.

"No panda, you did! And you are VERY oversensitive!" Shifu reminded him, making Po frowned.

"Really? I'm not the one calling out "MINE!!!" did I? Eh?" Po says back with a small sarcastic attitude.

"Well....maybe I do....a little?" Shifu shrugged. "A little? How about trying A LOT!?!!?" Po replies, knowing that there was still more to that than what Shifu was trying to prove.

"Ugh!!!" Shifu groans upsetfully. How far did the giant panda think he was willing to make his master seek the truth? "If I tell you, then will you stop?"

"Let's see how far it goes." Po commented.

"Yes, I was JEALOUS!" Shifu revealed. "But..." He paused momently to find the right words. "This was only because I finally connected with a real warrior I can have a TRUE friendship with. General Shang, I take back the doubts I ever said about you. You are a very good leader! And...excuse me if I begin to sound like Po, but....you have always been my favorite out of Fa Mulan's tale!"

"Awww see? That wasn't so bad! Kinda weird, but not bad!" Po says, not sure if that was suppose to really sound nice or not.

"Ppft, not creepy at all!" Crane adds, this making this Mantis and Monkey giggle, but to Tigress and Viper, they thought it was sweet their master found more than just a friend in Shang, he found someone to look up to.

Shang wasn't sure whether to feel honored or uncomfortable with the whole thing. It was nice having someone admiring him but at the same time he was still annoyed with all the secrets Shifu was keeping from him and Mulan and the mine comment certainly made for a still very awkward moment.

"Me?" He managed to choke out.

"Yes you! You didn't really believe your wife would be the only one gathering up all the glory did you?" Shifu asks with a smile.

"Only you could think that Master Shifu! Just you!" Po answers, then goes back to the table and whispers over to Mulan. "You'd better make sure your husband doesn't get run over by fans if there's more like Shifu!"

"Shang can handle himself but I'll keep that in mind." Mulan whispered back to Po.

After the whole revealing truth of Shifu admiring Shang so much, things return back to normal. Expect for the part where Po and Shifu's very low secret was still into hiding. Over the next morning while everyone was just starting to have their breakfast after they woke up, Po decided to check up to see how their prisoners were holding up.

He knocked on the door. "Junjie? Fenghuang? Are you still in there? Hello?" He asks, and then waited, but there was nothing. Not even one little small voice coming from behind those doors. "If you guys promise to behave, I will--" He was saying as he open the door, but the room had no guests. The giant panda gasped. "They're gone! Wait, what's this?" He asks, noticing a letter they left on the floor. He open it up and read to himself; it was note signed by Junjie and Fenghuang; warning the dragon warrior and the rest of their troopers that they were going to return by nightfall with a big surprise.

"Oh no! I gotta warn Shifu." He says, and runs in every part of the hallways. "SHIFU! MASTER SHIFU!!!"

Shifu was his own guest room, meditating. "Inner peace....inner peace....."

"SHIFU!!!!" The loud annoying sounds of the giant panda's screaming interrupted his meditation. "Ugh! What now?!!?" He growls.

Po barge into his room, panting heavily. "Master Shifu, we got trouble!"

"Trouble?!?!" Shifu asks, a small expression of alerting worryness shown.

"Yeah, look! I found this in Junjie and Fenghuang's room. They're saying they're coming back tonight!" He says, showing Shifu the letter. The red panda look into each sentence and word carefully, and saw that the dragon warrior was right.

"We gotta tell the others!" He says to him.

"No Panda, wait! We have to think this out!" Shifu stops him, needing some time about what they have to do.

"Forget about your ideas! They need to know about it!" Po told him, and takes the letter away from him. He hurries on down to the room where The Furious Five were having their breakfast with Mulan, Shang, the trio and the princesses.

"SHANG! MULAN!!" He called off. He finally reach them. "Guys, I got some bad news! Look at this letter!" He says, setting it down on the table for them to look at.

Shang took the letter from Po reading it over carefully. His face in a deep scowl as he slammed the paper down on the table.

"Shang? What is it?" Mulan asked.

He turned to look at her for a moment determining whether he should worry her or not before deciding against it for her sake and the twins' sake.

"Yao! Ling! Chien Po!" He called.

"Yes General?' Chien Po spoke first as they came rushing into the room.

"Set up guards all around the entrances of the palace. If you or anyone else see Junjie and Fenghuang your orders are to fire first." Shang ordered.

"Are we under attack?" Ling asked.

"We very well may be." Shang replied grimly before watching the trio rush off to round up the guard and resume their orders.

"Li Shang, wait!!" Shifu calls, trying to rush in.

"It's too late Shifu, Shang's already set his guys out to get the guards!" Po tells his master.

"Is it true master?" Viper asks him first. "Yes, it's true. We have until nightfall for their return. I have a plan for all of you." Shifu begin, setting in the plan. "Crane, those soldiers will be guarding very room of the palace, it is your job now to keep a watchful eye, but this time, I'm sending you on the rooftop; just in case!"

"Understand, Master Shifu!" Crane nodded and then bowed to his master and goes outside to start his guarding post.

"Viper, you and Monkey will be going with General Li Shang's men. I have this strong urging feeling they'll need your help, so stay with them!"

"Okay, Master Shifu!" Both Monkey and Viper said in unison, and heads out to go after Yao, Ling and Chien-Po.

"Tigress, I'm leaving you in charge to watch Fa Mulan's children." He said to her next.

"WHAT!?!?!" A shocked Tigress was very surprised. Of all of his students he send out to guard and help out, she was the most helpful and strongest of them all, but to keep under the job of babysitting was not her duty.

"NO!!!" She rejected. "I did NOT spend my entire lifetime training and fighting to waste it all for some of those.....those....UGH!!!" She growls. Tigress couldn't the right of word to called off the twins a bad time.

"Not to worry, you won't be looking after them alone. That's why I'm leaving Mantis with you."

"Heh, can't complain, I like kids!" Mantis says as he top right onto Tigress' shoulder. "Fine!" She grumbles.

"Shifu with all due respect, I will be staying with my kids and watching them. Tigress and Mantis should be where they are most needed." Mulan replied sternly the look on her face said she wouldn't be taking no for an answer. They were her children after all and he had no right to tell her to leave them in someone else's hands.
