The Misguided Journey (Mulan/Kung Fu Panda rp)

"I agree with her!" Tigress replies, thinking that Mulan should be the one doing her since is the mother of her twins.

"I respect your wise decision Fa Mulan, but it's not necessary, because Po and I will be teaming up with you and Li Shang, together as a group. Your children need to be protected by someone I can depend on! That's why I'm leaving them under their care!" Shifu told Mulan.

"And how is that gonna work?" Po asks, though it sounds almost somewhat tough.

"I'll send them back inside to one of the guest rooms where it's safe. So they'll be clear away from any harm that should happened." Shifu explained a little, then turns on over to Mantis and Tigress. "If one of you needs anything, just tell us!"

"Understood!" Mantis nodded.

"No! This is where I draw the line they are my children and no one is going to protect them but me and if you think you are going to stop me from being with my own children and protecting them from any harm then you are dead wrong!" Mulan replied drawing out her sword and holding it to Shifu's throat to make her point before storming off down the hall to protect her children who had been taken to another room with the princesses.

Shang glared at Shifu as well. "You may be trying to do the right thing but remember your place. We are the twins parents and have final say in everything concerning them." He told him sternly before leaving to join Ling and the others for the upcoming fight.

Shifu was going to open his mouth and try to keep their situation a bit more patiently, but he didn't. His eyes widen to his shock when Mulan threaten him with her sword pointing at his throat. Even Tigress, Mantis and Po were so frighten for their master, that they had to hold back their gasps. This was one side to Mulan they have never seen before.

After they left, Shifu took a breather and rub his throat gently. Never did he think he would be in fear from someone would be tougher than a stack of sharp nails.

"So much for going with your plan Master Shifu." Mantis comments, feeling sorry that for once, something didn't exactly turn up the way the red panda wanted it to be.

Tigress started on to wonder maybe Mulan strongly refused to leave her children behind due to the fact that the two girls stop getting along since knowing that she was married to Shang. But the tiger wasn't going to stand aside and let her or Shang get away with insulting her adopted father like that.

She let Mantis off her shoulder and place him onto Po's shoulder. "I'll be back! It's time I talk some sense into those two!" She says, leaving with a heavy glare on her face.

"I don't think this is gonna play out well!" Po says, getting worried what Tigress will do to make things more worst.

"SHANG!!" She barked out with high anger in her tone. The tiger went after him, turn him over, and push him back. "You may think have what it takes to be in control because you're now parents, but your wife has NO rights to insult my master with her weapon!!" She shouted. "Like it or not, I respect him! I don't care much for her, but I won't go against Shifu's orders!! So I expect you to do the same thing and do what you've been told!!"

"I will not take orders from your master when it involves the safety of my wife or my children. We both agree you are better suited to the battle field. Mulan is not at full strength to battle nor would she dare leave her children behind.

You might be trustworthy with our children but there is no better protection for them than Mulan so just drop it. You can either work with her or work on the battlefield your choice but should you even think of separating my children from their mother I promise you, it will be the worst decision you ever make in your entire life." Shang replied as he pushed her aside and made his way outside to the trio making sure they had followed and completed his orders.

Po let Mantis off his shoulder. "Mantis, go see if Tigress and Shang are still in one piece. I think I'd better go see Mulan."

"Okay, but I don't think we'll be enough to convince either of them Po!" Mantis tells him, so the two split to go look for them. Mantis caught Tigress in time when Shang had just had the nerve to tell her to back off when it came to his family. Once he was gone with her troops, Mantis stop Tigress before anything else could get worst.

"Honestly Tigress, I don't think this is the place to do this!" He told her.

"Do you have any better ideas?" Tigress asks looking down at Mantis.

"No, but let's see what Master Shifu has to say. If we can't guard the kids, he'll give us something better to do." Mantis says, directing her back to their master.

"Ugh, if Mulan dares to point her sword at Shifu one more time, I'll--" Tigress growls, clenching her fists. "Po says he'll take care of it, he won't get through to her, but he'll try!" He says, trying to keep her at ease.

Po rush down the hall to find the room where Mulan was keeping her kids with the princesses. He lightly tap on the door. "Knock knock, can I come in?" He asks opening the door to find the girls and went inside.

"Mulan, before you get mad at me next, I'm just here to have a talk. Nothing too personal and I'm not taking sides, but don't you think you were a little bit too hard on Shifu?" He asks, though his tone was feeling very nervous after what he just saw before.

"No. I had to get my point across. I do respect your master Po but with all due respect they are my children. Only I or Shang know what is best for them and only we can decide anything having to do with them. Someone needed to put your master back into his place regarding them." Mulan replied. Her voice was calmer but still stern while she stood protectively in front of their cradle.

"I know, I know, I just thought that--whoa whoa heeey what!?!? Back in his place?!!?!" Po felt stunned she would even begin to say that about his master like that. "Mulan, all he wanted to do is make sure they were safe! Even if Tigress didn't want to, we'd still need to obey the rules!" He told her, still feeling very offended. "Maybe you thought there was a misunderstanding, but I think some of us can still help. If you can't trust Tigress, you can trust me! I still owed you a lot from...after what I did!" He says, his voice slightly trailing off a little bit at the end, but he still wanted to help her out.

"I know you guys want to help but I said before they are my children someone. I will not leave them in someone else's care unless it was my parents and no other but in this case not even them.

But if you are bent on helping I won't mind assistance with them but I will not leave them alone." Mulan replied picking up Rylee as he began to get fussy and lightly bouncing him and gently patting his back to calm him down.

She let Ting Ting pick up Kai when she too began to get fussy as well.

"Have you any experience with children, Po?" Su asked curious.

"Don't worry Mulan, assistance is what I'm here for!" Po says. What could be so hard in taking care of twin babies?

"Me? Are you kidding?! Kids love me!" He grinned when Su asked if his experience with kids was any good. "Just tell me what I gotta do; if you need someone to have a play date with them, I'm your panda!"

Mei giggled. "They are still a little young for a play date Po but it does seem like it's time for a diaper change." She says indicating to Ting Ting helping Mulan change Rylee first.

"Diaper change? Huh! It doesn't seem so tough!" Po guessed. With Ting-Ting being busy with Mulan helping getting Rylee into a fresh clean diaper, Po decided to give it a shot by using Kai.

"I mean, heh! How bad could it be?" Po ask while he began to open Kai's dirty old diaper, but overreacted to what was inside it. "BLECH! What have you been feeding these kids?" He cries "Ugh, gross!" The panda made a sour face. The smell was awful to his scent. But before he can get the female baby into a new one, Po pick up the nasty one and gave it another sniff. Now it was too strong and he couldn't no longer take it. "GAAAH!" Causing him to be dizzy, it made his face turn green and he pass out on the floor.

Shifu, Mantis and Tigress came rushing in when they heard Po. "What happened? We heard Po when he--" The red panda asked, but was caught off guard by the smelly diaper. "ACK! What DIED in here?!?!" He asks, holding his nose. Tigress and Mantis also clench down on their nostrils so they wouldn't have to breathe in the sick air.

"Po apparently." Ting Ting commented as Mei and Su finished changing Kai's diaper while she and Mulan finished changing Rylee's.

"AAH! IT'S AWFUL! How can you STAND that smell?!!?" Tigress groan while holding her nose.

"That's worst than expired bean buns!! Wooooo!!" Mantis complained too. The two kung fu warriors, including Shifu himself, continue blocking the smell from their noses until the new diapers they were change into were now good and clean.

The little green bug hop on top of the giant panda's belly carefully as he knew how much of the fat could bounce around a lot. He made his way up to Po's face and tap him. "Po? PO!! WAKE UP!!" He shouted, but his little yelling did not wake up the dragon warrior.

Shifu walk up beside Mantis. "I know how to get him out of it."

"How?" Mantis asks.

"Watch!" Shifu began. The red panda lean in and just when he did, he talks clear and loud enough for Po to hear as if he was calling him. "Po, we're having almond cookies after dinner!"

"COOKIES?!!?" Po finally swung his head up high, grinning. Thus sending Mantis flying straight towards Tigress and hitting her right on her face.

"Nice going!" Tigress glared, taking Mantis off from her.

"What happened? Sorry, I black out!" Po responded asking his questions real fast.

"We thought you were under attack until we found out what the commotion was!!" Mantis replies, pointing to the babies about their sick and gross foul hygiene.

With a grunt, Po tries to get himself up from the floor, however due to his big fat, he had a little bit of trouble, so Shifu help him out a little. When the giant panda was finally back to standing up now, he remember what he was last doing. Aside from the smelly duty he failed at doing, he told his friends some good news.

"Oh guess what? Mulan's decided I can gave her some assistance! Isn't this great?" He told his master and friends.

"WHAT?!!? That is--!?!?!" Mantis blurted out, but stops himself when Shifu clear his throat purposely while he shook his head at the little guy with a glare, warning him not to be finishing the rest of those words in front of Mulan or the princesses.

When he was kept quiet, Shifu return back looking at Po. "Po, we would like to have a word with you outside." He told him.

"Oh...am I being punish for something I did?" Po asked, his tone becoming slightly nervous.

"No Po, you're not in trouble. Come see us outside of the room when you are ready." The red panda said to the dragon warrior and leaves along with Tigress and Mantis following out of the door.

"Hmm....wonder what it is." Po mumbles quietly. "Uhh could you ladies excuse me for just a minute?" He asks the three women politely.

"Sure go right ahead Po." Su replied.

"Okay great thanks! See you in a bit...hopefully!" Po nodded and left the room. He closed the door in a silent complete shut and turn where Shifu, Mantis and Tigress were now waiting to say what was on their minds about Mulan's choice making Po an assistant.

"So....uhhh....what's new?" Po try to be calm. With his arms behind his back, still feeling almost worried that he could of been for sure in trouble. At least that's what he thought.

"Now you may go!" Shifu informed Mantis.

"That is the most INSANE idea I've ever heard!!!" Mantis finally spoken.

"What?!!?" Po asks, no longer worried, but not quite puzzled. He thought this is what one of them wanted. It may of not play out like Shifu had planned, but Po was the most trusted one Mulan could pick on.

"She left you in charge? But not us?!!?" Tigress reacts too, nearly the same as Mantis was feeling.

"Hey, I gotta help! She's not going to leave the kids with one of us, but she still needs an extra helping hand!" Po tells them within his defense. He didn't see anything wrong about it.

"These humans are very mysterious creatures!" Shifu couldn't help but thought of the same thing, especially after he didn't mean to get on Mulan's bad side.

"Is this all you wanted to tell me?!" Po asks, feeling totally surprised that they weren't taking it all like it was a majorly big deal. Somehow, Mantis and Tigress felt a little bit betrayed, but not Shifu. With that small addition to that idea being cut off, he decided to let the giant panda continue helping Mulan and the princesses with the babies.

"Since Fa Mulan and Li Shang refused to form along as a with group with me, Mantis and Tigress will be with me." He says.

"So does this mean I can still stay with Mulan and help her with the kids?" Po asks him.

"Yes, but I still want you here present when Junjie and Fenghuang arrived. Fa Mulan has finally already made it clear for me that she will stay with her children." Shifu said. So long as her baby Rylee and Kai were being kept under watch, they wouldn't have any problems because they were safe in the room with their mother and the princesses.

"You got yourselves a deal." Po understood. He was glad to know his master at last got convinced now that there weren't going to be no more worries about the young kids. So with a short little grateful bowed to one another, Shifu, Mantis and Tigress left.

Po return back inside of the room with the girls. "Okay, I'm back! Sorry to keep you three waiting." He asks smiling with his paws rubbing.
