The Misguided Journey (Mulan/Kung Fu Panda rp)

"So what was that all about?" Ting Ting asked.

"Ah nothing serious. Shifu says it's okay for me to stay and stick around with the four of you. That's fine right?" Po asks just to be sure of it. He didn't want to give Mulan the wrong idea. Nobody was going to take Rylee or Kai away from her to keep a look out.

"Sure Po and you're just in time. We finished changing Kai and Rylee's diapers and don't worry I promise you get used to the smell." Mulan told him with a small smile.

Hours went by and not a single trace of the owl or the red fox appeared. To all that spend the entire day keeping on their guarding pose, everyone waited and waited and waited. Til it finally gotten dark, but no one was going to give up and called it a night. It was still early, yet not so late as it became nightfall.

Until suddenly, there was the sound of a big crashing and hitting and punching sort of noises happening on the top roof, along with an added squawking.

"Where's that coming from?" Tigress asks, listening to the fight happening outdoors.

"Sounds like Crane is in trouble!" Mantis said, for they knew that Crane was the only one who at the rooftop all day since his orders were given.

"We must help him!" Shifu says. They were going to rush outside to fight their enemies until the battle had just came to a fast stop, then a loud falling thump happen inside of the palace.

Of course, Tigress, Mantis and Shifu weren't the only three who heard all of the strange racket. Po also heard it too. Just like he promised, he knew he had to joined in. "I'll be back!" The dragon warrior tells Mulan and the princesses and rushes out as fast as he can.

Instead, he ran into Shang, Yao, Ling, Chien-Po, Monkey and Viper. "Did you guys hear it? I think it came inside of the palace! Let's go!" Po declares. Now that he found Shang and his troops, the chances of battling Junjie and Fenghuang together as a pack would be easy. Or so they would believe it would be.

In no time, the panda and the others found Tigress, Mantis and Shifu who had just recently found out it was Crane who had crashed inside of the palace. Luckily, the bird was still in one piece. "Are you hurt?" Tigress asked her friend as she helped him up.

"No, I'm good but they came so fast and attack me." Crane answers.
Knowing too well, they knew he meant Fenghuang and Junjie. "Where are they now?" Viper asks.

"Right here!" A voice said coming from the small upper top window above the palace doors. It reveal to be Junjie. The warriors and the trio were to prepared for battle, however before anyone could even try attacking, they did happened to grew very suspicious that Fenghuang wasn't presented. There was no proving chance that the red fox could have return all the way back without the owl at his side.

"Where's Fenghuang?" Viper asks, upon noticing that the owl was still missing.

"Before I'd turn your question into an answer, we'd thought we take a little getaway and decided we wanted something from you;" Junjie started saying to all of them.

"And what is that?" Monkey asked next.

"To rule over this palace!! Hahaha!" Junjie laughed manically.

"I thought you wanted to rule the Jade Palace. Why this one?" Po asks, not understanding why they could pick over the emperor's palace rather than the Jade Palace from The Valley of Peace.

"At first, we did. But why rule one when this gives us the opportunity to rule over this entire country of China!?!" Junjie continued, feeling more evil by this plan.

"FAT CHANCE!!" Mantis stated.
"Even if you try, you'll never get the emperor's home!" Tigress snarled.

"Oh you will! Or else...." Junjie seriously warned. "Or else what? What can you possibly do?" Po glared.

"Do one of you recognize this?" Junjie asks, revealing a rice hat and tosses it to them. It lightly landed on the floor in front of their feets. Shifu picked it up and look at it. There was something strangely familiar about the hat. It appear to be the perfect size to fit a red panda's head. Somehow, he knew he had seen it from somewhere. Or someone that he used who wore it during travels.

"A hat? That's the best you got?" Po asked, thinking that it was some sort of a stupid joke he was trying to be messin' with. "Whatever happened to your ultimate surprise you said from your note you'd bring?"

"Oh Fenghuang!!" Junjie calls, snapping his fingers only once. The owl flew in, showing up right next to the red, but that wasn't all. In the clutches from her talons, she was holding what look to be a lifeless body. But not just some kind of a body. It was more than unexpected. Fenghuang revealed to them all they brought with them a red panda; a very much older red panda in blue and dark blue clothing. Po, Shifu and the Furious Five remember this poor old red panda. It was Shirong, the father of Shifu. And he was badly bruised and beaten. He could barely try to open his eyes to see where he was taken to, but didn't have enough seconds to stay conscious.

Shifu was so shocked from horror, that he couldn't gasp and he dropped the hat he had been holding. Why would they have return all the way with his injured father, he had no idea.

"Hey, isn't that...." Crane wonder, but Po got to it faster before he could finish his pal could finish what he had to say. "SHIRONG?!!?" The panda cries.

Shifu was filled with outraged. "PUT HIM DOWN JUNJIE!!!" He threatens him.

"Surrender the palace first, or this red panda will meet his DOOM!!" Fenghuang indicated, pointing one of her sharp claws to Shirong's throat. For the first time in so long, Shifu fear what to do. He wanted to save his father very badly, but how could be? He try to think; there to be a way.

But his students were already one point straight ahead of him. With Tigress' help, Po was able to make his first attack towards Fenghuang and gives her a full fist tough punch in her torso, thus dropping Shirong. But Tigress caught Shirong just in the nick of time safety.

The attack the owl got from the panda was so strong that she crash right towards Junjie and the two of them fell, landing right outside. The rest of the five, among with the other trio, had their fair share of turn next, but were unable to succeed because Fenghuang swipes Junjie and the two left right away.

"YEAH! That's right, you better run! Or....fly!! WE DID IT! WE DID IT!" Po cheers, knewing they would get rid of them.

"That was odd." Monkey felt disbelief.

"We show those two what we're made of!!" Po says happily that he gave himself a little cheery victory small dance.

"No, don't you think it's odd that they would just leave without trying to put up a fight?" Mantis added.

This question made Po stop dancing, but he wasn't worried at all. "Pfft! Who cares? They won't be coming back! Right Shifu?" Po says, thinking maybe Shifu will take his side of support on this one, but didn't hear anything. "Shifu?" He turned around, already to see that Shifu had rushed to his father's side who was still with Tigress.

"How is he?" He asks her, hoping that his father will be okay. Tigress check for a pulse. "He's alive, but unconscious! He needs rest." She said. Sleep sounded like it was just what he needed. Shifu sighed in relief. It was good to see that his injury was not too serious enough to make him died.

"Shang, is there an extra bedroom he can stay in?" Tigress asks Shang. While they were busy focusing on Shirong, Po headed to the other rooms to get Mulan and the other girls out. "You can come out now, it's safe!" He told the girls.

Before Shang could reply, Ling spoke up first saying "There are some spare guest rooms on in the east wing. I'm sure the Emperor wouldn't mind him using one of those."

"Is everything alright? We heard all the crashing." Mei asked first.

"Everything's fine. Those two cowards took off running for the hills." Yao reassured her.

Relieved the princesses came rushing out hugging Ling, Yao, and Chien Po.

Shang meanwhile went in to check on Mulan and the twins. "Is everything alright?" Mulan asked him.

"Everything's fine." he replied with a small smile as he picked his son Rylee up holding him in his arms. He couldn't help but smile with pride as he imagined his son growing up and one day becoming a captain just like he had if not a general one day.

He also wished his father could've met Mulan and the twins as well even though he wasn't so sure his father would approve.

"Our little warriors." He said to Mulan who was holding Kai and nodded. "Yes, our little warriors." She replied wearing the same proud smile.
