Nala shrugs and bites her lip thinking. "We let them play with the cubs." Nala says suddenly. "But we'll have a pride member within earshot of the cubs without them knowing. That way Kiara and Kopa will see for themselves they're not to be trusted but if anything happens we have a pride member there to protect them."

"You two are heartless" Kiara says as she comes out to her parents." They just cubs. You cant judge them because of thier mother. Thats not right or fair" Kiara glares and walks away from her parents.

Nala looks at Simba in surprise before following Kiara. "Watch how you speak to your father and I young lady." Nala scolded. "We are not heartless. We love your brother and you so are trying to protect you. Your grandad Mufasa was murdered at the hands of your 'friends' mother's mate, then he tried to frame and kill your father. You should be grateful. Some cubs like you don't get as much protection as you get." Nala scolded.
