It hurt to think of not being with Richard but it hurt much worse to think of her powers accidently taking control of him and turning him into her mindless obediant slave.

Kahlan shook her head. "I bind them all the time, even as I stand right before you now, it would be my fear I would lose control over my hold on it during the heat of passion so better not to risk it at all." She replied making it clear from her voice not to discuss the matter further.
