Jasmine frowns as she stay behind Aladdin. "We wont let you destroy our home" She snarls.

Iago immediately look at the wolf who he guessed was Aladdin and said, "Look just keep the cat away from me! Cats love birds!" The giant cat ignored Aladdin's speech as she quickly growled and ran towards the parrot and monkey.

Aladdin turned to Jasmine. "Go back to Agrabah. Help your father. I'll join you there, I promise." He told her before growling and head barreling the large cat in the side to knock it over.
"Run! Go with Jasmine!" He told Iago and Abu over his shoulder blocking the cat's path so she couldn't follow his companions. He wasn't sure if he could beat the cat especially with a wounded leg but he knew he had to try.

Abu squeaks worriedly to Aladdin. He hops off on to Jasmine's shoulder.

"I'll be fine." Aladdin promised his monkey companion but did not dare take his eyes off the large cat.

Before anything else happened the girl returned back to normal, passed out unconscious, as was everyone else normal. In the distance towards Agrabah's direction smoke could be seen which wasn't a good sign.

Aladdin sighed with relief that he did not have to fight the girl after all since he really didn't want to hurt her. It wasn't her fault, Mirage had cursed her after all.
He picked her up gently placing her in a spare bed in one of the village huts before noticing the smoke rising out of what he knew to be Agrabah.
He turned to the others with a look of determination doing well to hide his fear of everyone's well being as he spoke "Let's get back to Agrabah."

Aladdin led the way back to Agrabah hurrying as quickly as they could on horseback wishing he could use carpet instead because it was faster but it was still far better than running on foot.

As they came to Agrabah the sultan's voice was screaming out, "Jasmine!" As everyone rushed towards the voice the fire cats were torturing the sultan with fire before his remains burned into a crisp. Mirage simply looked at Aladdin and said, "Now do you admit I've broken you? You'll never be able to look at your love in her eyes considering you failed to save her father! Come on my pets burn Agrabah to the ground!"

For several moments Aladdin himself unable to respond as he was lost in state of frozen shock at the horror filled image of Sultan being burned to death and tortured. Given this was Mirage it could've been a trick but still just seeing it happen before his eyes was nightmare filled enough.

Jasmine was frozen to the Spot. She could feel the tears leak out of her brown eyes. She starts to scream and then falls down to her knees sobbing for her father.

"Let's settle this. Just you and I. This is between us so there is no need for anyone else to suffer." Aladdin spoke. Though he felt a tiny bit tempted to give up he knew he couldn't. Not when Genie and everyone else were still counting on him.
