[True Love's Kiss]

"I will put some thought into it." Angel replies to Gandalf when the wizard earlier when he suggested about her helping controlling her magical powers.

Once the wizard, hobbit and the princess were back, they pay no attention at all about Legolas's inability of walking on the snow perfectly. When ask about her missing shoes by Emily, Angel look down at her barefeet. "Lost them on my way out." She tells her. Sam titled his head a bit, raising a high eyebrow, making a rather studying like look on his face for he couldn't stop staring at her feet. "Huh! So that's what they look like!" He thought to himself. Since upon meeting the half hobbit/half wizard, Sam had always wonder why she wore shoes, and now he finally saw why.

"What?" Angel asks Sam, noticing the hobbit couldn't stop looking at them. Sam moved his head back up. "Nothing! Just I've never seen you without footwear before." He said honestly. Though she was two different parts of race, seeing two different bare feet explain very much a lot for him. "Is it...umm..."

"If you are asking if this is normal for me, then yes!" Angel replies, not seeing a big deal over it. "It's okay, I can get used to it." She added with just the shrugged of her shoulders. She was strongly positive that if the hobbits can move into cold weatherly snow by not wearing anything on her feet, Angel was at least for sure she could of do the same without the use of shoes. After all, being half hobbit was a part of her.

"Really?" Frodo had been the first to ask, giving the princess a sly little playful look. "Why are you giving me that look?" Angel asks him, feeling a bit creep out he was reacting oddly funny to her. "I am ready to go now!" Frodo announces to everyone and quickly picks Angel up, carrying her like a package on his shoulders as he walk out of the cave with her. She squealed. "AH! HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!?" She try to sound like she was mad, but the sounds of her laugh and smiled gave it away.

"Carrying the extra weight." Frodo grins teasefully. "I'm NOT luggage! Now put me down!!" Angel cries, playfully giving him a gentle punch on the back. But though it had seem short for the two of them, they were finally stop when Frodo's foot got caught deep in the snow. He try to struggle out, but it wasn't working. "My foot's stuck!"

"Put some backbone into it!" Angel told him.
"I'm trying! It will not budge!" Frodo said, who was still carrying the princess as he try wiggling his leg out. The princess rolled her eyes with a annoyed sigh. "When you want something done right, you must do it yourself!" She grumbles in a bare audible that was so low, not even Frodo himself heard it. So Angel used her index finger and struck Frodo's lower back with a zap of her minor lightning jolt.

Frodo yelped from the small shocked, and it worked, but the small use of the bit bolt cause him to tip over, and by accident, he drops Angel flat on the ground and himself right on top of her. Neither one of them was hurt, but from that small little trip, the two of them burst out into laughter.

Angel sighed happily, looking at Frodo with a smile. "Where is this leading to?" She asks him.
"I haven't got the faintest clue!" He tells her, also smiling back sweetly at her.
Of course, the others who had saw the whole thing outside of the cave, Sam cleared his throat out loud to break the two couple out of their tender brief little romantic moment. "AHEM! We're still here!" He told them both.

Angel and Frodo stop gazing into each other's eyes when they heard Sam calling to them, and they look back at each other, realizing how a big of an embarrassment they made themselves, looking like fools in front of their own friends.

"I'd...I was--" Frodo try to explain to them, but Angel sneakily scooped a bit of snow and pounds it on the side of Frodo's face, knocking him off away from her. "AHHH!" He cried with the snow being shoved into his face. Angel laughed at the taste of her victory and gets herself up, but at that short little second, this time Angel kicked the snow right at Frodo, still laughing.

"Ugh!!" Frodo groaned a bit annoyed he another short defeat with the princess, but brush it off from him, smiling as he watched Angel being the first to leave.

"How much more of this do we have to take?" Sam rolled his eyes, watching Angel and Frodo acting like a hopeless romantic love couple was driving him crazy. He goes over to Frodo, and helps him up to his feet.
"What?" Frodo asks when he saw that Sam was giving him a look. "You LIKE her, she LIKES you! Why must the two of you have to make your relationship complicated for us?"

"Wha--but I didn't--I'd....umm...." Frodo can see what Sam thought of when he saw that scene, and the hobbit fought his hardest not to try and blush for he knew that could give away any clues. "You know NOTHING!!" He responded stubbornly to Sam.

"Just kiss already!" Gimli joined Sam with his response while the others couldn't but laugh a little except for Gandalf who seemed to have no reaction at all.

"We won't be going anywhere, not with the storm coming." He spoke instead seriously. He as well as Legolas and Aragorn knew to be caught in such a storm would be suicide so they had decided now that they were all stocked up on supplies they would wait out the storm in the cave until it passed though Gandalf had a bad feeling that the storm would last a couple days leaving them trapped in the cave for several days together.

"Another storm?" Angel thought when she turned around and heard about Gandalf's response.

"So....we are to be trapped inside the cave? For how long?" Frodo asked Gandalf, but Sam seemed to beat him to it first. "Afraid we'll be inside more than a day Mr. Frodo!"

"Well I won't be!" Angel says, as she walk inside the cave passing through to the rest of the gang. "Where are you heading off to?" Sam asks her.

"I've explore many caves during my absence away from home. If we are to be stuck in here, this cave should lead us the way; perhaps a shortcut." Angel explained. "Anyone is more than welcome to come with me if you wish; or you can sit and wait!" She added giving the rest an option.

"I will go with you!" Frodo volunteered.
"Ppft! Yeah, of course he would!" Sam scoffed, knewing too well that whenever path Angel will go too, he predicted Frodo will follow too.

"I'd better go with them." Emily replied getting up to follow them. "I'll go with you Lass." Gimli offered as he followed her as well while Legolas and the others stayed behind. As they followed the only path that led deeper into the cave, Emily nor Gimli were very surprised when it led straight to a dead end. "Well that was pointless.." Gimli grumbled. "Now what?" "Well I guess we go back and-" Emily started to say as she turned around before being cut off as the ground underneath her caved in causing her to fall down a hole several feet below. "Emily! You alright?!" Gimli called down to her.

"Yeah. I'm alright. Nothing's broken." She called up to them before noticing an old abandoned path. "Hey guys! I think there's a path down here!" She added as she wondered where it led to.

"A secret underground hole?" Frodo begin to comment looking down. Wherever it lead down too, he hoped for the best it would be safe. He look at Gimil. "I think maybe we should--" He begin to say to the dwarf, but was cut off when he took a noticing glance of Angel jumping down into the hole.

"WHEEEE!!!! CATCH ME!!!" She shouted out loud to Emily, but crashes onto the she half elf within a loud thud.
"ANGEL!?!?!" Frodo called down to her, hoping the princess was okay.

"It's all right, I'm fine Frodo!" Angel called back up to him as she was getting herself up. "Woot, what a rush!" She chuckled to herself, thinking how fun it was.

"Stay here Gimli, I'll fetch the others!" Frodo told the beardy dwarf and heads back towards the others. "Sam, Gandalf, everyone! We found a way out!"

"A way out? Where?" Sam asks, a little bit shortly concern seeing how Gimli, Emily and Angel were not with him at this time when he had return.

"What are you talking about and where is Emily, Gimli, and Angel?" Aragorn asked not sure as to what Frodo was going on about.

"Are you okay?" Emily asked Angel. It was very hard to see down the tunnel except for her enhanced vision which she suddenly found herself feeling grateful for.

"Never been better!" Angel smiled, feeling excited from that quick rush. Never had she thought how much fun free falling would be.

"Follow me!" Frodo says in a hurry, leading the whole fellowship with them to where Gimil was standing. "See?"
"Did Miss Emily and Princess Angel fell in there?" Sam asks, looking down at the hole, but didn't get very close to it seeing how it look pretty deep.

"Angel, Emily! I brought everyone!" He calls to the girls down from the hole.
"Mr. Frodo?" Sam look worried, as he knew that Frodo would be the first to hop in. "I'm coming in!" He announces, and right away, being the first one to take in that chance, jumps in.

"Do you hear screaming?" Angel asks Emily when she heard the fainted cry coming from the hole high above their heads. She look up, a horror look changed on her face as she saw Frodo coming in for the fall. She had planned onto to escaped, but not only had the hobbit crash literally right into her, the two of them rolled down until they were stopped, now with Angel on top of Frodo this time.

Frodo groaned shortly in small pain. "Ugh, what did I hit on?" He asks, feeling nearly woozy. He lifted his head a little and found Angel unconscious right on top. He sighs with a grin as he rested his head back down. Angel finally came to a stirred. "Ohh what's going on?" She asks before making a shocking reaction noticing to whom she landed on. "Why am I top of you?" She had to ask.

"Cause I'm soft?" Frodo blushed. Angel growled, but was too overly exhausted to herself off from hobbit. "Emily? A little help here please?" She asks, waving an metal arm up to get her attention.

At first Emily could only stare in surprise as Angel lay on top of Frodo. The sight of it took her by complete surprise. It took Angel actually asking for her assistance to make her actually stop staring and walk over lifting first Angel up onto her feet as gently as possible and then Frodo before moving them slightly so when the others came down they wouldn't be fallen on. She wasn't surprised when the others soon joined them, thankfully landing more gracefully than Frodo had except for Gimli who ended up landing ontop of Legolas' back causing Emily and Aragorn to smile and laugh.

"You make for a soft landing, I'll give you that elfling." Gimli teased as Aragorn helped the dwarf up off Legolas so he could stand up again. Legolas rolled his eyes at Gimli but smiled a bit too.

"Let's see where this tunnel leads to." Aragorn spoke taking the lead with Gandalf, who used his staff as a small light for them to see, while Gimli followed close behind. Emily let Angel and the rest of the hobbits go next before taking up the rear with Legolas. She frowned a bit when she noticed the elf seemed a bit stiff and sore and hoped it had been from when Gimli had fell ontop of him moments before but she had a sinking feeling that it was much more than that.

"It looks to me that this was once an ancient dwarf made tunnel." Gimli spoke to the others.

"Yes but not used since the first age if I am not mistaken." Gandalf replied over his shoulder.

"Told ya, I'd get you to see ancient dwarf built places, elf!" Gimli called to Legolas over his shoulder with a laugh.

"Yes, you did." Legolas replied with a forced laugh. Was that a crack in his voice, Emily had heard?

"I'm not liking the looks of this place!" Sam responded with caution as he scanned around carefully at the sight of the dwarf made tunnel. He remain close to Merry, Pippin, Frodo and Angel.

"Why do you say that?" Frodo asks him.
"The last time we've enter in a cave, danger came! Don't you remember Mr. Frodo?" Sam reminded to him, so the others wouldn't have to hear their little private chat. Reflecting back on the last journey, Frodo did recall those old memories of the time when it happened and how it last cause him to get stabbed, but saved by that strong outfit his uncle Bilbo gave to him. Now he was starting to wish he had for protection.

"Psst! Angel!" Frodo calls her with a whisper.
"Hmm? What?" Angel asks when she heard him calling for her.
"Whatever you must do, stay close! This cave could be cover with hidden enemies." Frodo warns her quietly.

Emily, having not been part of the original fellowship, had no idea really what they were talking about but despite the fact she could see she was still already tense. She wondered what happened before to the group but dare not ask as everyone else had seem to grow quiet as well including Gimli and Legolas as if what Sam had said had brought back bad memories for them and put them all back on their guard.

As if Sam had predicted the future, trouble had indeed come to the group once they had reached the end of the long dark tunnel following it upwards several feet back to the outside finding themselves not only stranded in a huge snow storm but also surrounded and outnumbered by goblins, weapons poised and ready to use at them, and wargs bearing their teeth and growling.

Now they had to make a decision, surrender or fight.

"I knew it! Why does trouble come whenever we leave the Shire?" Sam complained, fearing the worst would be the end of them all.
"Sam, this is no time for--" Frodo begin, but got himself caught off guard when Angel made the final decision for them to get into battle when the halfling princess was the first to go in and battle the goblins.

"ANGEL!!" Frodo exclaims.
"I guess we're doing this. COME ON!!" Sam yelled, also joining into the fight.

Aragorn quickly followed Angel, grateful he still had his sword, as he swung and striked at the nearest goblin killing a couple before being hit by an arrow and pinned down by a warg. He like the others found it nearly impossible to fight as they could barely see with the harsh winter wind and snow whipping at their faces.

Thankfully Legolas wasn't too far from the former ranger. He no longer had his bow and arrows but he did have a dagger which he used to throw at the chest of the warg pinning Aragorn killing it immediately before rushing over to his companion and helping him to his feet before the two of them found themselves fighting a large swarm of goblins, outnumbered and separated from the others.

Emily fought alongside Gimli cut off from the others as well by a large swarm of goblins. Unlike the dwarf who at least had his axe to fight with, Emily had no weapons and was forced to resort to hand to hand combat which proved more difficult than it was worth but it was still better than standing and doing nothing she figured.

It was very obvious to her what the goblins and wargs were doing, they were separating the group away from everyone making it much easier to pick them off one by one and as much as they tried to stay together they were still outnumbered and outmatched and were losing the fight very quickly.

Gandalf fought alone, trying to reach the others to help them, but it seemed with every goblin or warg he fought off several more replaced it. By the end of the fight they had all been outmatched and overpowered resulting in their capture.

With the strong stormy weather being hard, cold and heavy for them, the battle had not help them view too well. Angel took notice when she and the rest were becoming separated by the fight of the goblins. She had to find them and soon, so with that, she punch one of the goblins into the jaw with her fist glowing brightly from the white light powers. Next, she punch another and then another, but was still having a hard time trying to find anyone.

She begin calling out their names! "Frodo? Gandalf? Emily? Where are you? Is someone out there? I can't--" But then a goblin from behind her that she did not sense knocked her out cold.

Hours later, Angel woke up to find herself being tied up and being carried by one of the goblins. Frighten as she was, she remain still, but look around to see where they had carried them. It was up until then, she spotted one of the goblins carrying Frodo who happened to be unconscious. "Psst! Frodo? Frodo!!" She whispers, trying to called him quietly, but her voice was so low that he did not stirred.

"Princess Angel?" A voice called. Angel glance down and saw Sam, who was alive but just like the rest, was also tied up, only he was forced to walk since he was not knocked out. "Where were are they taking us?" She asks still whispering.
"I don't know! Have you seen Frodo?" Sam asks, checking around. "He's back there!" Angel replies, pointing with just her gesturing hand seeing how Frodo was a bit far behind Sam and Angel.

Sam wasn't the only one being forced to walk, ahead of the hobbits, Emily was being forced to walk as well. She had been forced to watch as the goblins had divided their group in half separating Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, and Gimli from them while she, Angel, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin were in a different group being taken to a different area. She too, like Sam and Angel wondered where they were being taken but did not turn nor speak to her companions so not to give them away to their captors.

They were led to a large camp filled with orcs and goblins and towards a tall steel fortress that loomed before them like a large dark cloud.

As they were being shoved into a room, Emily did try to struggle from being shoved in with Angel and the other hobbits, managing to kick one of the goblins in the shin. As that particular goblin howled in pain, Emily fought back a scream as another pulled her hair knocking her down to her knees with a grin. "This she-elf has some fight still left in her." He taunted to the others who laughed before leaning in close to her face that she had to wrinkle her nose in disgust from the smell of his breath as he added "I wonder what we could do to break such spirit?" with a taunt but by the wicked look in his eyes, Emily didn't have to guess what he had in mind and feeling disgusted she did the only thing she could think of, she bit him straight on the nose as hard as her teeth would allow trying not to gag at the taste of the goblin's flesh before she was struck across the head to let go and shoved inside with the others, the door slamming shut shortly afterward locking them in the steel windowless room.

Emily immediately spit out the flesh she had bitten off of the goblin's face her chin soaked in it's blood making her wish she could wipe it off or at least hold a hand to her throbbing head but could do neither without the use of her hands which were still tied behind her back.

Now that the hobbits and the she-elf had been locked up together in the same room, they knew they must find a way to escape. But how? With some of them having their hands tied behind their backs, though not all of them, Angel was one of the few who didn't have her hands tied up behind her back, but since they were in her front, she did try to use her emotional anger by making the metal hands glow red in the use to escaped, but Sam who saw this, gets up and knocks her down on the side.

"AHHH! Why did you do that?" Angel glares.
"You were trying to use your powers!" Sam says.
"Yeah? So what?" Angel replies.
"Don't you see? Every time they glow, you can't control them! Do you want us to be the next ones to destroy like Frodo try to do with you?" Sam warns her firmly. He didn't want all of them to be under attack again if Angel couldn't control the use of her magical gifts.
"Then what do you suppose we do? I don't see one of us making better plans!" Angel commented sarcastically.

"How about chewing them off?" Sam suggested, since it happened to be maybe the only bright idea they could used.
Angel blinked in surprise. "Could that work?" She asks.
"Only one way to find out." Sam said and so was the first time to try on himself so to bite hard on the knots and gives them a tug. At first attempt, the hobbit try as hard as he could, he almost couldn't get it to work until the short end of the rope came loose, and Sam gave it a good hard pulled.

"Samwise, you are a genius!" Angel beamed. Sam took those words as a compliment. "And you can do it without the use of magic!"
Seeing how right he was, Angel decided to do the same thing too by biting off onto the yucky hard rope and repeating the same thing Sam had did, and it worked. It was the first time Angel did anything for herself without cheating her way through her gifted powers.

Meanwhile, while Sam was helping Emily, Merry and Pippin to get free from their tied up hands, Angel rushes over to Frodo's side. He was still unconscious, so she untied his hands for him and gently helds him in her metal arms. "Frodo? Frodo wake up!" She said, giving him a light tapping poke on the shoulder with her fingers.

Frodo groaned, but stirred slowly as his eyes flutter opened. "Angel?" He shut his eyes for a second, but then opens them wide up to be finding himself being held; held in her own arms nearly face close to her. The hobbit try to summon all he can without blushing. Had this been heaven for him? He nearly hoped it was. "Am I dreaming? Please tell me this is a dream!"

But Angel did not find it hilarious. "Very funny!" She gave him a dirty look, pointing how serious she was. "No Frodo, your not dreaming. We're trapped! Where? I can't say for sure. And we don't know the whereabouts for Gandalf, Greenleaf, Sir Gimli or King Aragorn are!"
