Sam had been tired and exhausted as it was quite a fight it took for his rescuers to come and save him, but he was glad to be back in one piece and couldn't wait to see how his family was holding up. However the first person that had been awaiting for them was someone they did not expected who be coming back from the dead.
The hoobit stood there too speechless to react. He blinked a few times and rub his eyes to make sure what he was seeing was not trying to trick him and to let the surprise sink in. "But...they said you were dead!!?!? HOW!?!?!?" He commented in shocked, wanting to learn how the elf survived.

"Dont you ever do that to me again!" Gimli sternly told Legolas after running up and hugging their elven companion as well. Clearly the dwarf had missed the elf quite a lot. When Sam had asked how Legolas had come back Gimli couldn't help but add "That's what I would like to know."
"I was Sam but it's a long story and no doubt you are eager to see your wife and children." Legolas spoke honestly.
"Do the others know? Your father? Emily?" Aragorn asked as Legolas led the way inside.
"Elrond, My father, and Emily all know already but we have not told Angel or the others yet." Legolas replied.
"Very well we can hear what happened when the others find out you're here for the sake of not repeating yourself a multiple of times telling it, Mellon." Elrohir spoke.
"Did Emily tell you the good news?" The dwarf immediately asked.
Legolas hesitated before responding "Yes...she did.." somewhat hesitantly though Gimli was not sure if it was because Legolas was uncomfortable talking about it or perhaps the elf wasn't as pleased with the news as the others were but Gimli certainly hoped it was the first option rather than the latter.
Meanwhile Emily had gone to the dining hall to join the others. She had naturally spent most of the day with Legolas apart from the bit of time she had spent with Elrond and Thranduil before the others had returned.
"Lindir said he spotted Elrohir returning with Gimli, Aragorn, and Sam." She told the others judging from the distracted worried looks on their faces they needed some good news especially Rosie and Angel in particular. She wondered whether or not to tell them about Legolas as well or wait when he would join them with the others as well but decided the element of surprise would be a better touch.

"I wonder where she's been all day." Rosie says, referring to of course about Emily with Angel. When it was told to them that Sam had came back, it brought wonderful news to the Gamgee family.
Rosie was about to take her kids with them, but stop when she saw that Angel wasn't following with them. "Coming?" But Angel didn't feel like coming. "No I'll stay." She answers, needing some time alone.
"Ah...okay." Rosie nodded. It was understandable, so without waiting around, the gamgee family were reunited at last. "DADDY!!" Goldie exclaimed happily, running into her father's arms. The hobbit scooped up his daughter and held her in a hug. "Welcome back!" Rosie greeted her husband with a kiss. She had been a bit down on the worried side upon her husband's long missing whereabouts, but it was good to have him back again. "You look awful!" His wife couldn't help but make a statement to that. Sam had been in a bit of a small dirty mess, but the important thing was he was alive and that was all that counted for.
"How's Mr. Frodo?" Sam asks, taking off the subject about him in wonders of how his best friend was holding up. "We don't know yet." Rosie honestly answer.

Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli left with Elrohir to give the Gamgee family a private moment naturally as they went to join the others in the dining hall.
"Any word on Frodo?" Elrohir had asked them as they had left before hearing Rosie tell Sam there was no word on Frodo's condition yet.
"None yet." Elladan confessed before blinking in surprise to see Legolas standing with the party.
Gandalf however smiled as he joked "I see you decided not to stay dead for long."
"After life is too boring. Too peaceful." Legolas laughed.

Angel had been still feeling down that was, until the rest of the party show up, including the surviving elf. "Legolas Greenleaf, back from the dead! This is a BIG surprise!!" The halfing stated, not sure to be feeling happy about the elf being brought back to life or to be rather surprise he found his way back.
"Sure was, wasn't it?" Sam comment as he return back into the dining hall with his family with him. "I was wondering when you'd be coming back." Angel says over to the hobbit. "Yeah well, those foul stinkin' smelly beasts had no clue who they were dealing up against!" Sam couldn't help but grinned a bit as if he was the hero that did all of the saving, but he wouldn't be there standing now if not for his fellow rescuers. "So...no word yet on Mr. Frodo yet huh?" He asks, changing the topic back to Frodo's serious condition yet as he sat in the same table where Angel was.
"No..." Angel says shaking her head sadly. "How long has it been? That is to say about Mr. Frodo I mean?" Sam asks, trying to clear up in asking the question how long Frodo's trending treatment was lasting up for. "We brought him back two hours earlier, maybe another bit more, before you came back." Angel answers, but was a bit unsure seeing how it didn't felt like hours, but more like lifeless decades just sitting around and waiting and waiting to hear if Frodo was going to make it or not.
"Probably still resting I bet and maybe they haven't yet found you to tell you. I can go with you if you want." Sam volunteered since he did wanted to see too how Frodo was doing. "You do that for me?" Angel asks, finding that of Sam to be sweet. "Course I'd do!" Sam answers. He cared for Frodo just as more than anyone else would as it was proven how deeply their friendship was together. So Angel left Grace in charge of Rosie's care again, and followed with just only with Sam to go looking for Frodo in one of the resting rooms.
"I sure hope he's doing well." Sam mutters. "I think this is it." Angel says pointing to one room that they haven't yet checked into yet. Gently she pressed her hand against to the door and it squeakily open up in a bit. Sam allowed himself to be the one opening the rest of the door out of respect for the princess and the two of them found Frodo laying in his bed resting.
Angel walked up quietly to the bedside. She try to open her mouth to say something, but couldn't find the words in what to start up with. Sam enter inside of the bedroom and stood next to Angel. "Mr. Frodo?" He whispers gently, but Frodo didn't seem to stirr so Sam try again. "Mr. Frodo, can you hear me?"
A soft little gentle groan was heard easily coming from the hobbit as he was coming up to his conscious. "He's waking up!" Sam tells Angel with a smile.
And as right as he was, Frodo did wake up. He did not face Angel or Sam just yet, but he did find himself laying in bed as he let his eyes wander in viewing the room around him. "Where--where am I? What is this place?"
"You're back in Rivendell Frodo." Angel finally spoken. "Frodo? Who is Frodo?" The hobbit asks as he now turned to be facing two hobbits whose faces did not ring a familiar bell to him. A bit confused Sam didn't get why his friend would be asking up such a silly question, he still answer for him. "You are!" "Who are you?" Frodo asks them.
"It's us!" Sam told him! Even Angel had been confused; how could the hobbit forget so easily who they were and not remember them? "Wait a sec! You mean...you don't remember us?" She asks him the poor amnesia suffering hobbit next.
Frodo shook his head to show his answer. "No...I--I can't say I have." "Uh-oh!!" Sam can't help but comment to this shocking discovery they had witness before them. "Uhh...I think--I think I'm gonna be right back. Stay here!" Sam excused himself, leaving Angel alone in the room with Frodo without hearing what it was Angel would of try to say and races back to the others. When he find, he burst out loud shortly about the bad news. "We got a problem with Mr. Frodo!"

"Yes Mr. Gamgee, if you had not interrupted you would've heard what I had to tell everyone." Elrond spoke clearly a bit annoyed as he had gone to tell the others about Frodo's condition but of course had been interrupted when Sam and Angel burst back into the room with a bit of a fright.
"What is it?" Aragorn asked.
"Your friend, Frodo Baggins, has suffered quite a bit of blood induced trama to the head resulting in him getting amnesia. It is still too early to say whether Frodo will regain his memories or be lost to them forever. He will need to stay here in Rivendell to be given time to recover and hopefully regain his lost memories." Elrond spoke gravely.

Angel would had stay in Frodo's resting chambers as been told, but she couldn't stick around and wait for Sam to come back so she left to go after the hobbit. "Did you find them? What did they say?" She asks the hobbit frantically worried.
"Umm...I'm not sure how to break this gently to you Princess Angel, but....Mr. Frodo is suffering from amnesia!" Sam told her the truth. "WHAT?!" Angel outburst in exclaimed. The hobbit/wizard had worried more about Frodo facing the mattering lives of death. Amnesia would of been the last thing to be concerned about. "Amnesia? Is it permanent?"
Sam shrugged his shoulders. "We don't know if it will be." He tells her. Angel gasped, covering her mouth to show her shocking reaction and back off only to be stop leaning against the wall now. Her eyes swell up in flowing tears just waiting to burst out. "Oh no!" Angel glance away and turned around, with her face now cover down in her hands with her sobbing cries being heard loudly. "My marriage has been ruined before it began!"

"Thats not true Angel. Maybe it'll only be temporary and Frodo will have his memories back before you know it." Emily spoke trying to be both optimistic and help her friend feel a little better as she hugged her to help console her.

"What are we do then?" Rosie asks them. It didn't look like there was gonna be any other way for them to be dealing with Frodo's amnesia. "Hmmm.." Sam began to think and started to pace around within cooking up of a plan. "I think I got me an idea." He said when he stop. "It's not much, but there's one solution I can think of."
"Well then, let's hear it." Rosie says, ready for anything to help out. "With Mr. Frodo's memories wipe out, it's gonna take long for us to help him, so my first thought is; we should take this time for us, all of us, to help him patiently through it. By trying to tell him everything; stuff we know well about Frodo like his past and the present. The bad part is..." Sam explained everything all in his plan, but came to a stop by the end.
"There's a bad part?" Rosie questioned. "Yes. Princess Angel isn't gonna like it, but I think we need to save Grace for last." Sam finished.
Angel hugged Emily back. It was having her friend around her for consoling and comfort, however she did stop crying when she overheard Sam's idea that had Grace involved about being kept away. Angel let go of the hug from Emily and over to Sam. "What do you mean? Don't say we have to keep my daughter away from him!"
"I'm afraid that's the only part we have to do Princess Angel." Sam told her. He didn't like the idea too much either, but it didn't left him much of a choice. If Frodo was able to find out he was the father of a child he bared out of wedlock, the news of him taking that would not end up so good. "Mr. Frodo won't be comfortable around over a child he doesn't knows that's his, then learns he has one out of wedlock. He should wait til later."

"It'd probably be for the best Lass and hopefully it wont take too long before he's back to normal." Gimli told Angel clearly agreeing with Sam's idea.
"Well if we do go through with your plan, Sam, You Merry Pippin and Gandalf will have to do most of the work helping Frodo with his memories because you four know the most about him but we'll do what we can to help." Aragorn added.

"But if we have to keep Grace into hiding from him, where does that lead me?" Angel asks, wondering how it was going to be hold up for her. "You may have to start up your relationship from scratch again Angel. I wouldn't start up by saying the two of you were settle into getting married just yet." Sam says. "It may be the only way." He added.
Angel gravely sighed. "I don't like the sound of this plan." She says, fearing that worst that somehow part of this idea was going to failed miserably.
"It's the only one I could get. Not like the others have better ideas than this do they?" Sam replied. "I'm sure they wouldn't." Angel frowned. "Should we get started?"
"That's a good thought there. We should before he aims wondering around the whole place." Sam agreed with her. If all goes right, it might have some luck on their side if all went according to the hobbit's plan.
"I'll stay with the children." Rosie said, just so she was clear she would be handling all three children in her care. "Thank you!" Angel says to the Gamgee wife.
"Maybe you best come with us Mister Gandalf. Just in case we need you for it." Sam insisted that the wizard should tag along with him and Angel. And so, without stopping, the hobbit brought the princess and the wizard with him back to Frodo's room.
"Knock knock!" Sam stated as he tapped onto the door, moving it open. "Can we come in?" He asks. Frodo look over to the two whom he saw familiar, but since he did not get a hold of their names before, the puzzled hobbit could not greet them.
"Hi! Remember us?" Sam says, gesturing his pointed finger over to him and to Angel since they were just coming back arriving to his bedroom. "I would have if you had told me your names before when you were in here." Frodo scratched the back of his head with his left hand, confused by these two, including by the tall old wizard he cannot recalled seeing before.
But what he mostly didn't remember the most was when the hobbit brought down his left hand away from his head, Frodo took up in a shock when he saw that there had been only half of a left index finger gone missing. "AAAAH!!! What's happened to my hand? I AM MISSING A FINGER!!"
"Ohhh that! Umm...you lost it!" Sam told him, seemingly he did not appeared effected by Frodo's reaction to it. "LOST IT?! How? When?!?!" Frodo asks desperately.
"It was bitten off by a creature from the name of Gollum." Sam says. Frodo's eyes widen in the fear of that unholy thought of a monstrous beast biting off his finger from his left hand. The hobbit cannot find any trace old memories of anyone by the name of Gollum biting off his left finger from his hand. And for what excuse? Frodo was not sure, but it did sounded awfully scary he had gone through something as big of a terrible experience as that sounded. "Stay calm Frodo! It was a long time ago. You're fine!!" Sam says calmly. "Ugh, why didn't I tell him that first before I got told about his amnesia?" Sam sighed with a groan, giving himself nothing more of a big facepalm.

"It was more than a year ago, Frodo, and you have no need to worry about it or Gollum.' Gandalf spoke. "This is Samwise Gamgee, a friend of yours and he was once your gardener. This is Angel, a recent friend of yours." Gandalf added gesturing to the two people near him before finishing with introducing himself. "And I am Gandalf, a friend of your uncle and a close friend of yours as well."

"So all of you are my friends?" Frodo asks. "That's right Mr. Frodo. And you remember what your race you are, do you?" Sam asks the poor amnesia hobbit just to check that Frodo hadn't forgotten too much, even if it had included the type of his own race.
"Race? Umm..." But Frodo had not been sure of it himself, he try to figure out what he was, but didn't seem to figure it out. "Oh boy!" Sam grumbles a low sounding mutter to himself, shaking his head. It look like it was gonna take more work for them than they would had imagine to the hobbit's plan.
"Mister Gandalf's here is a wizard; a GOOD wizard and--" Sam paused just off in a couple of seconds, glancing over to Angel wondering what words to carefully tell the poor memory loss friend of his. It had seem that revealing to Frodo about Angel being born of mixed races that were to be half hobbit/half wizard like the princess is, it would just leave nothing more but confusion and most of all, a bit of overwhelm drama. "And Angel and I are hobbits; just like you!" Sam says without revealing to Frodo that Angel is a princess.
"You got to be joking me!" Angel thought, making a surprised face reaction at the hobbit for that idea. "RIGHT?" Sam comment out loud next to Angel and giving a hit on her arm with his elbow, trying to force the princess to play along with their acting lie.
"Ow!!" Angel winced rubbing her arm, but had to give him a little glare. "Uhh yep! That's right!!" Angel tells Frodo, nodding her head. "Oh...I did not know I was friends with a wizard and two hobbits!" Frodo said, then added. "Nor know of a wizard to be friends with my uncle."
Frodo got up from the bed to sit up straight. The two hobbits and wizard did seem friendly and okay to him, but he had wonder where his dear old uncle Bilbo was. "Who is my uncle? Is he here?" Frodo asks, curious to know why Bilbo was not presented with them.

"You're a hobbit as well Frodo." Gandalf told Frodo when Frodo commented he didn't know he was friends with a wizard and two hobbits. He wasn't surprised when Frodo asked about his uncle in fact as soon as he mentioned his uncle he was sure Frodo was going to ask about it.
He didn't answer Frodo's question at first instead he slowly walked over to sit in the chair beside Frodo's bed and gently placed his hand on Frodo's shoulder. "I'm sorry Frodo. Your uncle, Bilbo, died a couple months ago from old age and a heart attack. You're here in one of your uncle's favorite places, Rivendell, the home of Lord Elrond and the Rivendell elves." His tone was soft and of course comforting as he could manage knowing and understanding that Frodo would take the news of his uncle's death hard especially when he had just seemed to move on from it not too long ago but he didn't lie to Frodo about his uncle as he deserved to know the truth about the circumstances about his uncle's demise.

Both Sam and Angel knew they saw that one coming when Frodo had ask about his old uncle Bilbo. Particularly mostly since Angel had recently found out last before Frodo's memory loss came showing up.
Frodo may of been uncertainly sure why he was in the place of his uncle's favorite to start up with, but just hearing the death loss of his family member broke his heart. The poor broken-hearted hobbit look away so he would not let his friends see him cry.
"It's okay to cry Mr. Frodo. Let it out." Sam told him softly. Frodo close his eyes and silently as he did, did shed off a bit of tears. He sniffled wiping the soaky wetness off from his eyes. "Did I--AHEM!" He clear up his throat to keep from letting out a choked. "Did I knew him?"
"Oh yes, and very well I might add. You used to live with him in a place the hobbits lived at called The Shire." Sam added. "What's it like?" Frodo asks as it would see that this so called Shire place sound interesting to the hobbit's ears. "Oh it's beautiful Mr. Frodo, very beautiful!" Sam answered. The hobbit started describing to Frodo about the things there was to know about The Shire and all there is in the history about the races of hobbits.
Angel stayed quiet the entire time as there was nothing for her to add up for them since she did not grew up in The Shire like Frodo and Sam did, but hearing all of the things Sam told Frodo about in The Shire, it did sounded great though if it had not been for that place, she never would of met Frodo, his uncle, cousins or his gardener and best friend Samwise Gamgee. But as far as lies and truth go, the princess was not sure how long part of her story will remain hidden as a fibbing lie. She was dying to tell Frodo the truth about her relationship with him, but it was for the best not to be spilling it out since it was going to be far off a bad thought to do so without giving the hobbit a bad freak-out over it if it had been told too early.
