'Zira!' Nala snarled as she bounded through the dry grass of the outlands and landed in front of her, 'Nuka. Where is my cub?' Nala demanded.
'All three are with you aren't they?' Zira asked innocently, 'We've not got any of the queen's cubs do we Nuka?' Zira growled.
Kopa meanwhile was in the cave, guarded by Zira's pride.

Simba growled. "I don't believe you! I scented you on Prideland terrirtory! I know you trespassed and took my son, return him to us and no harm will come to you."

Zira chuckled coldly, 'We don't have him though, you should take better care of your children if you've lost Kopa.'
Nala snarled at Zira's words and dived on the lioness, knocking her to the ground. The two females fought and eventually stopped at a cry from Kopa. Nala stepped back to Simba's side, a large cut along her snout.
'Grab the cub Nuka!' Zira cried when she saw Kopa. The outsider had come of worse, with a large rip in her left ear and a deep cut along her flank.
Kopa made to run to his parents hoping he was too fast for Nuka.

Seeing Kopa, Simba immediately made a mad dash for his son picking him up by the scruff and gestured with a flick of his tail for Nala to follow quickly.

Nala glared at Zira and with a quick slash of her paw, hit her cheek before racing after Simba.
'Dad!'Kopa cried happily.
Zira snarled and rounded on Nuka, 'You should have stopped them.'

Simba only stopped occasionally to make sure Nala was keeping up with him before stopping completely once they were further back into the Pridelands to gently put Kopa down on the ground.

Kopa looked up terrified, 'I'm sorry daddy! I ran off but stayed away from the outlands and she got me!' He whined.

Kiara looks up from where she sat with Kovu." Kopa!!"She cries and darts over to her brother worriedly. She fusses worriedly over him and nuzzles him. She gald he was safe.

"I know Kopa. I scented her on our territory. I am just glad you weren't hurt and that your mother and I got to you in time."

Kopa greeted his sister happily, and began nuzzling her, "I'm sorry Kiara!" He whined.
Nala smiled slightly at her two cubs before turning to Simba. "I'm going to go to the watering hole. The blood from my cuts are being stubborn." She licked Simba on the cheek before licking her cubs before turning and disappearing to the watering hole, when she arrived she padded in and lay down contently.
Kopa watched his mother leave before turning back to Kiara. "Where's Kovu?" He asked slowly.

Kovu remained where he was silently watching the family reunion.

Kopa padded over to Kovu, "I'm sorry you have Zira for a mother." He said, hoping he didn't sound rude or snide.
