Kovu smiled a little happy to be included. "Sure." He replied. He didn't notice his brother secretly watching him behind the tall grass.
Simba nodded. "Good idea." he said to Nala. "While you're out there and I want one of the lionesses to keep an eye out for anything suspicious as well." he added in a whisper.

"I can do that, I'll class it as a part of my patrol." Nala replied. "I think you should talk to Kopa though, he doesn't look to happy about Kovu." Nala then padded to the front of the pride and spoke to the best hunters of the pride. She glanced towards her mate then padded off with the lionesses behind her.
Kopa watches his mother leave and goes over to his father. "You two can play race instead." He said to his sister and Kovu, slightly coldly.

Simba nodded walking over to the cubs. "Kopa, walk with me." he told him before gesturing for Kovu and Kiara to run on ahead and race each other to Pride Rock.

Nala leads the lionesses past Nuka's hiding place and pauses momentarily catching his scent, she sends her gaze around the area but doesn't notice anything unusual.
Kopa frowns a little but goes and walks beside Simba, 'Yes father?' He asks cautiously.

Kiara races along happily with Kovu. She takes her chance and ponces on him playfully

"Oof." Kovu grunted as Kiara pounced on him. "No fair. You caught me off guard."
"Your mother and I notice you're not to happy about our new guest." Simba told Kopa calmly as they walked together.

"No I'm not, I don't like him he's an outsider! A traitor his mom loved Scar! And Scar killed grandfather and tried to kill you. He's going to be like Scar when he's older!" Kopa complained glaring over to Kovu then up at his father.

"No one know better than I of Scar's treachery, Kopa. And sure you may be right but you could also be wrong too. Just remember sometimes what's left behind can grow better than the generation before, if given the chance." Simba told his son.
"You bet I will." Kovu replied to Kiara though he was still smiling a little. A least there was one person in the pride who treated him fairly.

Kop glared at his father, 'I still don't trust him but I will try to be nice.' Kopa grimaced.
Zira padded back to the mainlands curious as to what kovu was doing and how he was being treated, when she walked to where she'd just left she went to Nuka's side, 'Well?' Zira demanded.

"The Prince doesnt trust Kovu. Simba is willing give Kovu a chance and the queen is unsure" Nuka tells his mother.
