Nala led her daughter into the grasslands until she saw a limp antelope foal, 'Now watch, and copy.' Nala told Kiara in a low voice crouching down and prowling towards the foal.
'I can't wait to be King like you dad!' Kopa cried looking over the pridelands eagerly.

Nala goes on to creep closer before pouncing on the foal, sinking her claws into it so it fell. Once it was a heap on the ground, Nala placed a paw on it's neck and gestured with her tail for Kiara to copy.

"Good!" Nala praised. "Now when you hunt to kill your prey you bite here." Nala places her nose to the foals neck before sinking her teeth in to put the creature out of it's misery. "Okay?" She said turning to Kiara.
Kopa laugh and stood up. "Can we go for a walk around the pridelands one day dad?" Kopa asked, "And the Outlands too?" He continued eagerly.

"We can go today if you like. Your mother will be out teaching Kiara how to hunt anyway however we should stay on our side of the outland border so we aren't trespassing on their land." Simba told his son.

As he walked behind Simba and Kopa, Kovu couldn't help but take in all the beautiful scenery and life around him. The outlands were nothing like this
