Ali fought hard at the feeling inside yelling at him not to touch the staff as he grabbed it and raced toward the rope grabbing onto it with one hand and holding the rope tightly with the other.
"I got it!" He called up to them.

The man immediately pushed the other boy out of the way as he came over to Prince Ali and said in an excited tone, "Give me the staff and I'll leave Agrabah and your parents alone."

"Thanks pal." Ali replied before glaring at the other man for pushing his friend aside.
As he held the snake staff in his hands, all his instincts were screaming at him to throw the thing back down into the pit and out of the man's hands for good but he forced himself to ignore the feeling as he handed the staff over to him. "There. Now take it and never return to Agrabah."

The man ignored the young prince and secretly slipped some kind of amulet on the Zia's neck before getting nostalgic, "Finally! Finally! Jafar, my father, the rightful owner of this staff has found you!" He suddenly laughed at the young prince. "I'm sorry young prince but there's been a change of plans. You see my father, Jafar, the rightful ruler of Agrabah, will get his revenge against your parents. Now lower yourselves back into the well or the girl dies. That amulet she's wearing is cursed and she must now stay in the well for all eternity. Oh yeah I lied about the snakes too. There were no snakes at all hahaha. You know I'm going to destroy that Genie and your father and mother but before I do I'll let them know you helped me betray and kill them!"

Ali's eyes widened in shock. What had he done? He had just single handedly helped destroy everything he sought out to protect.
His shock quickly turned to anger. He couldn't just stand by and let this happen. Not without a fight.
"Kody, help Zia!" He ordered his green genie companion before glaring at Jafar's son charging at him grabbing onto the staff trying to pull it out of the man's grip as they tugged on it back and forth.

Jad copied his father by mocking Prince Ali with puns, "Sorry for the shock young prince." Suddenly red bolts of electricity came from the staff and shocked the young prince before Jad said, "Why don't you take a load-off?" as he suddenly kicked him to the ground. He then grabbed him by one arm and held him above the well as he dropped him in. He then suddenly grabbed the 'boy' and girl as well, "I think the young prince needs some play-mates down there hahaha." He then said to the young prince, "I did promise you snakes didn't I? Well you'll get them." He used the staff to fill the well up with cobras and then smiled at Prince Ali, "Young prince if you make it out of this alive you'll find Agrabah a desolate wasteland and your parents gone for good. Goodbye." He then got a stone to fit the well and sealed the hole, sealing them inside this tomb with poisonous snakes.

Ali helped Zia and Kody to their feet and in his frustration kicked the well wall with his foot ignoring the pain from doing so.
Hearing hissing he jumped slightly slowly backing up regretting not being able to see in the dark.

Cody made a torch to be able to see ''Ali are you okay?" He asked before flashing up an invisible force field to keep the cobras at bay.
