After it was morning Jad used the staff to disappear away from the multiple Genie guards and appear before the throne room before he had a smile on his face as he held Jafar's staff in his hand. He walked quickly towards the sultan and said, "Street rat, my old friend," he said in sarcasm, "I hope seeing you here today, ready to help your family and your citizens of Agrabah confirms you are a good sultan? Now can I please have the bird Iago?"

"Terrific...well I suppose we can try climbing out.." Ali pondered though he wasn't exactly sure how.
Aladdin immediately stood up as he recognized Jafar's old staff. "I never surrender my friends." He replied. "Where did you get that?"

Jad simply said, "My father Jafar gave it to me. You know speaking of sons and their fathers have you checked on your son to see if he's alright..." as he erupted in laughter.

In truth, Aladdin and Jasmine hadn't slept a wink since Ali left after waking up in the middle of the night with a bad feeling.
Jasmine had gone out with Carpet, Abu, Cassim, and Iago to search and though Aladdin wanted to go along he knew that someone had to stay behind and remain in charge especially in case Ali returned.
"I know you have something to do with my son's disappearance, where is he?" Aladdin demanded.

Jad simply said, "I honestly don't know. How cruel of you Sultan to assume that I killed your son." He then hinted, "You know Aladdin a cobra is a deadly snake. It's venom can kill a grown man very quickly. A boy stands no chance at all." Suddenly Jad laughed, "HAHAHA! I told you Aladdin you would regret refusing my demands! Now will you give me what I want or will your precious Jasmine have to die!?" Suddenly Razoul entered the room and said to the Sultan, "Shall we execute this man Sultan?" saying it with a sour tone, showing he still had animosity towards Aladdin.

Aladdin held up his hand for Rasoul to halt. "If you have a dispute it is between you and me, not my friends, my family, or my kingdom." He spoke to Jad.

Jad just laughed and said, "You sure didn't fight fair when it came to Jafar. Why should I return the favor?" He then smiled as he said, "As for your son I killed him. You'll never see him again. I put him in a well with cobras and they all bit him. I showed him no mercy."

Aladdin glared. "Rasoul! Arrest that man and put him in cell nine. If the crocs don't finish him off by dawn he will be executed." he ordered.
