'Well I dont have to listen!" Nala spat. She raises her paw and leaves gash on the Hyena's face. She then runs off with the other cubs.

The hyenas growled and chased them as they ran.
Malka stopped running and turned to face them.
"What are you doing?" Kula asked him.
"I'll hold them off and teach them a lesson they won't soon forget." He told her the fur along his spine spiking up and ears going back flat against his head as he unsheathed his claws ready to use them.

As the hyenas approached, Malka scratched the head one across the nose and Kula did the same to the second one.
Before the hyenas could react to the attack however they were surprised by Scar. "Enough." He growled at them as he walked over to them.
The hyenas didn't look happy about it but followed the command growling at the cubs and taking a step back from them.

"You three know how I loathe violence." He told them.
"They started it." Malka replied.
"No you cubs started it." the leader hyena growled back, the one Nala had scratched earlier.

"Enough! These hyenas are our guards and you cubs will learn to respect them, there are always worse consequences if you don't. For example, I may not always be around to protect you from their "justice" " Scar replied.
