Tama felt like blushing. Man, this cub was cute. And he had a cute name, too. "Oh. Cool name. So, um, where're we headed?" She turned to walk in the same direction the rest of the group was walking, which seemed to be Pride Rock.

"I'm taking Malka to meet my dad." Simba told Tama as he led the way up to Priderock with Malka following behind.
"He's cute isn't he?" Kula whispered to Tama.

Tama nudged Kula playfully and hissed, "Shhh!" with a smile, worried that Malka might hear. She dropped back a few paces from the rest of the group and whispered, "Yeah, really cute. Where's he from?" She blew the tuft of fur between her ears out of her eyes. It was always getting in theway--sometimes she wished she had smother fur on her forehead, like the other lionesses. Still, the tuft did make the orange-furred lion cub unique.

"Maybe he can stay with us. You know, if Simba's dad lets him." Tama replied, tail flicking with excitement. It was cool to have another cub around. Newcomers were always interesting. But would Mufasa let the handsome cub join?

Kula sat waiting with the others as Simba and Malka finished climbing to the top of Pride Rock waiting to hear whether or not Malka would be allowed to stay in the Pridelands with them. "I hope he does, it'll be nice to have another cub around."
