"You were bullied all because of the birthmark you have on your left eye?" Asks Judy, surprised to hear such a thing happening to a poor young deer like Renton from his earlier fawnhood. "I've never heard of such a thing happening to a deer before!" She commented. It had seem much to the couple's reaction, they might have some common ground with the deer after all, despite hardly knowing the young citizen. "Gosh, it really saddens me how kids nowadays will make fun of anyone for anything!" She added, shaking her head disappointingly.
"But I can understand what it's like to be pushed around." Judy added. "I was born and raised in Bunnyburrow and nobody believe I could ever become a real cop just because I'm a bunny." She explained to Renton. "Not even my own parents thought I had a shot at it, but I prove them all wrong, I've prove everyone wrong. Now look at me; Ever since I was a kid, all I ever wanted to do with my life was be a police officer, and I was able to achieved my lifelong dream by becoming the first ever bunny to do it, and everyday I'm out there making the world a better place. I've been doing this job since I was 24 years old and I still love doing it!"
Seeing that her husband and their new friend were now ready to get going, Judy knew they couldn't leave just yet. If the rabbit, deer, fox and fennec fox were gonna have any chance on finding the missing boar and hybrid, their only clue was to leave Zootopia to search for the two teens; and they would need a place to stay at too as well until they could find more leads to where they could be at. Pondering on where they should stay at, their best luck would have to be at staying at Judy's old hometown Bunnyburrow with her family.
"Food sounds great, but first we need to get Finnick before we can go." Judy told Nick, so she called out for the fennec fox's name. "Finnick? Finnick! Finnick, where are you?"
They waited until Finnick had returned, who was munching on a couple of crunchy crickets he was dipping in a small bowl of spinach dip. "MMMM!!" He enjoy on how well they tasted. "Have you guys try out this spinach dip?" He asks them. "IT'S SO GOOD!" After Finnick finished the last cricket he was eating, he licked the half empty bowl clean, earning a well disgusted look coming from Judy.
"Well I hope you've saved room for extra Finnick, because we're going somewhere else to eat." Judy began on saying to Fininck. "So we need to get going."
"Sure thing, but first lemmie go grabbed some lemon bars." Finnick replied, turning around to go fetch some dessert he saw earlier, but Judy stop him by grabbing him onto the back of his shirt. "Oh no, you don't!" She told him as she was pulling him back. "Dessert here costs extra! Even you wouldn't be able to afford it!"
"Aww man!" Finnick pouted grumpily, crossing his arms to his chest. "Hey, where we staying at after we get a big meal?"
"Glad you ask." Judy answered Finnick after letting go of him and took out her cell phone. "Because I was thinking, we could stay with my family at Bunnyburrow for a while; just until we try to find enough clues that might lead us to finding Terry and Dallas." But as soon as she was dialing up her parents' number, a reminder pop into the rabbit's head. If she was going to let her folks know that she was coming over by bringing Nick, and their friends Renton and Finnick along with her, she knew that her mother and father were still working partners with Gideon Grey, her former childhood bully. Taking visiting trips to Bunnyburrow had always made Judy felt a bit nervous because she had never told Nick about Gideon before, or the fact that he's a fox too just like him, and she still had a fear of what would happened if they should one day ever meet face to face. So whenever they would decide on planning to visit the Hopps family, Judy could always called up Stu and Bonnie first and tell them not to let Gideon know about Nick, or the fact that she is already happily married to Nick and that the happy pair had a hybrid for a son.
"Umm...I'll be right back. I need to make an important private phone call real quick. This won't take long." Judy informed the guys while her phone was still ringing. "Nick, call Chief Bogo and tell him that we'll be outta town for a while, okay?" She addressed her husband as she was walking away. "Oh and don't forget to called your mother and let her know too!" She also added.
"Hey yo Nick, how come your wife acts all weird and funny whenever you go visiting them in-laws of yours?" Finnick asked Nick once Judy was out of sight. Even he can tell by her odd behavior, that something was off too. "I thought they were fine with the idea of you marrying their daughter."
Once she was outside of the room, Judy waited patiently for them to pick up until one of her folks was able to answer her phone call. "Hi Mom, hi Dad! It's me Judy." She greeted them, keeping her voice down. Unlike her mother-in-law Mary who had just recently discover about Terry's disappearance at the very last second, Judy's parents Stu and Bonnie had already been well aware of their missing grandson since a year ago, and they would still contact Judy whenever they can to see how their poor daughter and son-in-law were holding up during their loss, or if they could be of any help, or to see if there was any updated news about Terry being found yet or not.
When they had ask Judy over the phone if everything was okay and if Terry had been found yet, Judy shook her head. "No, no we did find him, but he vanished...again. Listen, my reason for calling is because I wanted to ask..." She paused, turning her head back just to double check and make sure nobody was eavesdropping on her. When she had check that the coast was clear, Judy return back to her phone call with her parents. "Is it okay if me and Nick can stay with you guys for a while? Oh and see if you can make room for two more because we've got some friends coming along with us." She added.
"Oh wait, what am I saying? We're bunnies, of course we have extra room to spare for guests!" Judy chuckled a little, but it was no laughing matter when she turn serious. "Oh and whatever you do, don't tell Gideon I'm coming over, okay?" She reminded them both. When one of her folks had pointed out that Gideon and Nick were gonna have to at least one day meet at some point, Judy strongly disagreed with her parents. "No I don't want them to know, I don't want them to meet at all period! Alright?" She sighed. Even Judy knew herself it was best not to be keeping secrets from her husband, but this was just one of those that Nick didn't even need to know about. There was no telling what kind of reaction either foxes would have about each other, or how they both knew Judy too well if they ever do meet at all.
"Look I gotta go, they're waiting for me. I'll call you again soon when we get there okay?" She tells them both. "Goodbye dad, bye mom. Love you too, okay bye!" She nodded, til finally she was able to hang up on her cell phone, put it away in her pocket and returned back to her husband and two friends. "Alright, I'm all set and ready to go!" She says to them, with a welcoming smile. "So where would you guys like to go eat at? We can go anyplace you like, you name it!" She added, being well open-minded of whatever they would choose at to go eat at.

A bite to eat did sound like a good idea to the young buck. He and the others would need enough energy to start things off right in what may be a very long search for the teenage hybrid and boar. "Anything's fine with me, too, as long as it doesn't involve anything spicy," Renton responded to Judy.
As he started to turn and make their exit out of Genevieve's, Renton thought about the special friend Judy brought up earlier in the conversation and wondered if it would peak everyone's interests if he mentioned who that special friend was. Smirking, he spoke up. "Say, remember that special friend that I mentioned in the letter I sent to you both? Well...let's just say she's someone who likes to spread the message of encouraging everyone to...'try everything.'"

"Sure thing, Carrots." Nick replied before leaving to send the message along to their Chief, Chief Bogo, and soon after returned to hear Judy suggest they stay with her parents. "Well let's just say, so many changes are hard for them to take in." Nick told Finnick in a whisper to answer his question.
"You met Giselle then?" Nick asked Renton as they left the Fashion Designer's place.

"Wait! You're saying you met Gazelle, the greatest pop singer of our time, and she's the one who gave YOU advice!?!?" Judy spoken up, showing her wide eye expression with her mouth drop opened. "WOW! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" She grinned with excitement. "I LOVE Gazelle! I have all of her hit songs on my playlist, including Try Everything." She added, still smiling. Clearly, the rabbit was still awestruck by hearing the news of it Renton had just hinted out to them. "In fact, Nick and I saw her performance, live at a concert a long time ago. I guess you can say it was our very first date the two of us went on together tee-hee!" Judy giggled, already blushing up a bit with just the very thought of that old memory had came to mind. It certainly was one the best date nights Judy herself would never forget.
Shortly after the new search party had gotten themselves a bite to eat, it was time for them to return back to their homes temporarily so they can start packing up. So Judy decided it was best for the three of them to get Renton's cell phone number and in return, handed their cell phone number to Renton so that they can be able to keep in touch and call each other for whatever case of emergency that might be needed. After that was done, Finnick drop off the couple back to their house and from there, Judy told the fennec fox to drop off the deer back to his apartment building next, and then later give them to call to let them know that they would be ready. Once the two of them were gone, it was time to headed back indoors. After switching outta her police uniform and changing into her regular clothes, by wearing a pink stripe buttoned shirt and light blue jeans, including a sun hat, Judy began on packing up her stuff but the only thing that was missing was her recording carrot pen, that she cannot find.
"Nick, have you seen my carrot pen?" She asked her husband, wondering if he had seen it. "I've look everywhere, but I can't find it."
================================================================================================
Meanwhile after driving on the road for what seem like hours, it was time for the two teens to stop by at a gas station to get some gas for the rest of the boar's van, seeing how low they were already on. Dallas spotted a gas station nearby and stop on by there. The boar was about to wake up the sleeping hybrid when he couldn't help but be caught off guard hearing the hybrid howling on what sounded like a soft tune in his sleep. "Jeez, this hybrid is such a weirdo!" Dallas thought to himself as he rolled his eyes and shook his head at him. "What kind of animal sings tunes in their sleep?" Talking in their sleep was something Dallas had always heard of, but never before would it seem possible for somebody to make some kind of soft melody tune in their sleep.
The boar place his hoof on the hybrid's shoulder and try to give him a bit of a nudge. "Hey! Hey, wake up!" Terry snorted and shot himself up. "Huh, what!?!?" He cried, looking alarm. "Whose there?!"
"Geez calm down Wilde, it's only me." Said Dallas. "Listen, I need to filled up the old van again. She's low on gas." He told him, then reach into his pocket and pulled out one of the credit cards. "Do yourself a favor and buy us something useful inside while I fill her up."
"Hmm? Oh yeah, sure thing." Terry said, but before he could even do that, the hybrid put on his new pair of reading glasses, and took out a small notepad and his mother's recording carrot pen. "What do you want me to get for you?" He asks the boar, all ready to list down whatever item that may be needed.
But Dallas instantly had recognize the pen from the hybrid's paw. "Is that your mom's carrot pen?" He had to asked. "Why do you have that with you?"
"Oh this old thing?" Terry asks, waving it a bit in his paw. "My mom left it behind back at the station the night we escaped." He answered. Terry knew that his mother Judy would never go anywhere without her carrot pen around, but since this was the first time she had accidentally had left it behind, Terry figure it would be most useful on their mission since he already knew the pen always came in handy whenever it was needed to recorded any audio evidences that would be needed to present.
"It's also a voice recorder. I thought I might bring it with us; in case we ever get caught, I'll have actual proof to give to the cops." Terry explained to Dallas before the hybrid suddenly had noticed that the pen's audio recording may been recently used, but who knows how long? "Hmm looks like there's already a recording message in here. I wonder what it is." Terry said. Curious on what it could be, Terry press the play button to hear what the audio message was, only to find to his horrified shocked, was the voice of his mother sounding far too cozy in a soft relaxing type of groaning moan-like sound;
"Oooh right there Nick, ah yeah! Mmm-hmm oh yeah, that's the spot!"
"WHOA!!" Terry cried out loud by surprise by jumping back and the pen fling right outta his paws, but he caught and quickly ended the disturbing message by pressing the stop button. He glance over to Dallas, who was already mortified. "Umm...let's pretend we didn't hear any of that okay?"
"Too late!" Commented Dallas after shuddering in disgusted. "Can't un-hear that!" Not wanting to ever heard that piece of audio ever again, Terry got rid of it by pressing the erase button;
"Message deleted!"
So without wasting anymore time, Terry decided it was best to hurry up while they still can, and knowing how well that Dallas can easily get impatient sometimes, the hybrid put away the pen, notepad and his glasses and took the boar's credit card and went inside of the mini mart. Upon entering inside of the small store, Terry had spotted a male zebra working at the cash register, reading up on a magazine while blowing up a bubble from his chewing gum and a male moose mopping up the floors to get all cleaned up. Neither one of the animals had spotted their new customer, but they did seem pretty bored at their lousy jobs. So Terry took the time to see what he can get; the first item that caught his interest was a pair of hats and sunglasses. Eventually, he did pick out a red baseball hat and a brown framed pair of sunglasses. After which, he pick up a bag of potato chips, a can of peanuts, and two water bottles.
After Terry was done shopping, he placed all of them on the counter towards the cash register guy. "How much?" He asks. The zebra did not answered his question as he put them all away in one bag, and pressed in the punching buttons from the machine to check on the official price, but then stop once he had taken one good look at the hybrid.
"Uh-oh! This isn't going to end well...." Terry thought, noticing that he was getting started at, like always. "What?" The hybrid had finally spoken up. "Psst!" The zebra gestured a soft whisper to his moose friend, signaling for him to come over to meet Terry. The moose stop working as he approached his friend, also now staring at the fox/rabbit creature.
"Oh no, are they going to--"
"Hey kid, you know Halloween is over right?" The moose began by making fun of the hybrid's appearance while the zebra started to snicker.
"Yep! They did, just my luck!" At first, Terry had fear maybe he got recognized by somebody who probably had witness his escaped from jail just by from watching the news, but getting picked on was just about as worse. "What are you talking about?" He asks the two workers, not fully understand what they were laughing about.
"Your rabbit ears, fox boy!" The moose answer by pointing a hoof at Terry's ears. "Look at how stupid he looks!" The zebra laughed; believing that Terry's ears were a fake, he grabbed a firm hold on Terry's left ear and pulled it, tugging as far as he can, until he couldn't pull no more and let go, causing for the ear to smack him right at the hybrid's face. "OUCH! HEY, CUT IT OUT!" Terry snarls aggressively at the guys.
The zebra and moose backed away, holding onto each other for dear life. "Sweet log bridges, he's a real hybrid!" The moose cried. "You're darn right I am!" Terry growled, bringing his left paw up and brought his claws out. He was about ready to put those claws of his to good use on them when all of a sudden, the hybrid's luck took another turn for the worst when the moose and zebra turned their attention towards the small TV, showing the news about the two missing teens; one of them course being the Terry the fox/bunny hybrid.
"OH MY GOD, WE HAVE A FUGITIVE ON THE RUN! AND HE'S IN OUR STORE!" The zebra screamed at the moose's face. "Well don't just stand there and panic, STOP HIM!!!" The moose yelled back at his friend. "Right, let's get him!" The zebra agreed.
Terry grabbed his bag of groceries and try to make a run of it, but because he had already forgotten that the floor was still a bit wet, he took a bad turn by slipping into one of the more soaked spots, causing him to be send flying in mid air, and landed hard on the floor to a loud thud like sound. Luckily for the hybrid, his recently unpaid items didn't go spreading everywhere on the floor; most of which that some of them were still inside of the bag, so Terry hurry on up and pick up his stuff and made a run for it; not realizing he accidentally had dropped his reading glasses and his mom's carrot pen, leaving the two of them behind by mistake.
The moose and the zebra were about to go after him, when the moose stopped after hearing a crunch like sound. He look down and realize he had accidentally step right on top of Terry's glasses, in which were now broken and smashed.
Dallas was almost finish filling up the van, til he took notice of Terry running outta the mini mart. "DALLAS, START THE VAN!!" The hybrid called out.
"What, but I'm not--" The boar try to get his word right in, but didn't once Terry returned back into the passenger seat. "There's no time! Hurry, they're gaining up on us!" Terry warned him. Dallas saw that the hybrid was right, so he made a run to get inside of the driver's seat, and together they drove off.
"What the hell happened when you were in there?" Dallas panted, a little bit out of breath. "It doesn't matter." Terry replied, as he took out his sunglasses and hat from his bag and put them both on. "From now on, we're not making anymore stops as long as they have a TV nearby broadcasting our escape."
"That's gonna be hard to avoid Wilde." Dallas had pointed out. "There's gonna be televisions everywhere we go." "Then our only luck will be going somewhere far far away as possible, someplace where nobody will know we escaped." Terry replied to the boar. "Maybe if we're lucky, we might be able to find your dad where this kind of big news doesn't spread all about." He added.
"Well wherever he is...I just hope he's safe and sound." Dallas frowned with a sad sigh. Little did they know, that the two teens were soon about to fulfilled their mission a lot more sooner than they've would had guessed. And soon, be able to find out more than what they had possibly could ever expected.

After being dropped off at his apartment complex, Renton went right to work on packing up most of his things for the long journey ahead of him. As he thought ahead of the possible dangers he might face on the search, he started to slow down his packing and stop, thinking about his parents and how they sometimes worried about him ever since he left on his own. Looking down at his pocket where he kept his cell phone, he began to grow guilt-ridden and wondered if he should call them. It had been ages since he last notified them of what he was up to, so he ceased his packing for the moment and sat on his bed to give his loving parents a call via video camera.
Meanwhile, far off in the comfortable safety of their home in a suburb community a few hundred miles away, a slightly buff but middle-aged stag with a large antler rack was reading the local newspaper in one armchair and a slightly careworn but kind doe was reading her mystery novel in another when she responded to the vibration of her phone and recognized the name of the incoming call. She could not believe what she saw and had to adjust her glasses to make sure her eyes weren't deceiving her. Gasping, she cried, "Devin! Devin, come here, quick! It's our son calling us!"
"Well, tan my hide, Sylvia," her husband replied with interest as he heard the news. Eager to see his son's face again, he put down the newspaper and got up to join his mate as he got in close to prepare for the camera on the phone to capture both their faces. "I wonder how our little boy's up to. Probably already gotten rich and famous and wanted to brag to us about it."
"Now, dear, let's be reasonable," Sylvia assured him. "He's still very young. Let's not rush into things."
As soon as he saw both his parents' faces onscreen, a rush of homesickness almost got to the young buck, but he was still happy to see them again. With a simple wave of greetings, he said with a smile, "Hey, guys."
"Oh, Renton!" the doe answered with happiness lifted in her heart. "Oh, it's so good to hear from you again."
"How are you doin', slugger?" asked the jovial father.
"Yeah, I'm...sorry about that, Mom," Renton answered with guilt by rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. "It's been hard to keep track of trying to call you two, especially now that I've gotten settled into Zootopia and all."
"How is Zootopia, by the way?" asked the middle-aged stag. "Is it everything you've hoped for? You a big success yet?"
"Well...not yet, Dad. I haven't been able to land a job yet, but I did find some new friends who might be willing to help me out." And Renton began to explain everything that happened to him ever since he arrived in the mega-metropolis, including when he met Gazelle and the friendly officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.
"Oh, well, that's nice, dear," Sylvia responded politely. "Your father and I are doing fine here as well. Same old, same old."
"Yeah, 'same old' is right," Devin added before rubbing the lower part of his back with one hand and grunting a little. "My back has been giving me some pain lately due to my age and how heavy my antlers have gotten. But I'm getting by, don't you worry."
"Just be careful out there, okay?" the motherly doe asked her son with some concern in her tone. "Make sure you call us when you do end up getting a job."
"I will, Mom," Renton promised. "Oh, and Mom? Dad? Just know that...I do think about you two every single day. I love you both very much."
The two middle-aged deer were touched by his words, and she said, "Aww, so kind of you to say that, dear. We love you, too."
Renton was also touched by her words, that he just smiled and was close to shedding a tear, deciding to let the moment just speak for itself.
Just then, some pounding came from one of the walls in Renton's apartment. "Hey, keep it down in there, will ya?! Pronk and I can't hear ourselves think!" Bucky yelled from the other side of the wall.
Rolling his eyes, the exasperated buck informed his parents, "Listen, I gotta go. I need to get ready to help Nick and Judy solve a very special case."
"Okay, son," Devin replied. "You take care of yourself, alright, slugger?"
"Yes, take care," Sylvia nodded. "Goodbye!" Then she and her husband waved to their son goodbye.
"Bye," said Renton as he hung up. At that moment, he thought about packing some more, but then he chose to go over to his window and rest his arms on the edge so he could look out into the open skies above Zootopia and just think for a while, reflecting on how he would soon be participating in what may be the grandest adventure of his life.

"Everyone ready? We should get going if we want to reach the in-laws before midnight." Nick commented to Finnick, Renton, and his wife Judy. =================================================================================
Hiding in the shadows, wearing green fingerless gloves, a black shirt, dark jeans, and a red short sleeved plaid shirt was a brown cat wearing sunglasses secretly watching the fugitive boar and rabbit/fox hybrid making their getaway and shook his head. 'Amateurs...' He thought disgustedly to himself before picking a cell from his left jeans pocket and whispering, "I found them." to a mysterious person on the other line. BIC: "All set." Answered Judy. After not being able to find where her missing carrot pen could be, the female rabbit decide to worried about it later, since it was more important to be able to reach Bunnyburrow by today before she can get another concerned phone call again by her parents. Since Bunnyburrow was located 211 miles away from Zootopia, their best chance to get there faster was to take the train. The good side outta all of this was that Judy would be able to see all of her family members again like her parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews since it had been for some long time now since she last saw them, even though it wouldn't be the same visiting them without Terry around sadly so to speak.
After finally reaching Bunnyburrow there at last by mid-afternoon, their next stop was to go by the car rental and pick up a car to temporarily to drive around in if they wanted to reach Judy's family's home faster. They choose a large car that would be big enough and comfortable for at least two of the passengers to fit into the back, while Finnick was the one who choose to be the driver. They were almost close by, up until Judy received a text message. She look at her cell phone and saw that the text came from her mom, informing her to tell her and the others to stop by at the supermarket on the way over to pick up extra groceries for them since her folks were busy with their paws full in setting up tonight's dinner for them.
"Finnick, take us to the Burrow Market. We need to make one more final stop before we reach my parents' house." Judy told the fennec fox. They reach the Burrow Market, a very large and well known big supermarket that all of the animals in Bunnyburrow went grocery shopping at. All three of them got outta of the car and were about to head on inside, until Judy turned around and saw that Finnick was still inside of the car. "You coming or staying Finnick?" She asks.
"I'll wait right here." He quickly replied, and started taking out his cell phone to use to keep himself distracted while he waited. Judy shrugged her shoulders and follow right behind Nick and Renton, however a feeling of guilt was filling up inside of her when the reminding thought of Gigi came into her mind again. She took one last final look over to her shoulder before switching her quick gaze at her deer friend and fox husband. "Uhh you two go on ahead without me, I think I'll stay behind with Finnick." She told them, and headed back towards their rental car.
"Finnick?" Says Judy after she opened the door and sat down next to him at the front. "Finnick I wanted to--" She stopped noticing at that quick glimpse that the fennec fox was watching a video on his phone. But it wasn't just any video, but a video of Gigi advertising her latest fashion fall lines. "Is that....Gigi's video you're watching!?"
"HUH? WHA--NO!!" Finnick denied, after being caught off guard by the bunny and shut down the video, stuffing his phone away back into his pockets and placed his paws back on the driving wheel right away, staying silent but his face was flustered and embarrassed. "Finnick, do you...LIKE Gigi?" Judy asks what seem totally very obviously. Even after what happened during that failed up introduction, Judy was taken by surprise to see that Nick's old crime partner may still actually have a thing for the french poodle.
"I said NO!!" Finnick yelled, still denying it. "Finnick, it's okay." Judy told him softly, placing her paw onto the fennec fox's shoulder. "It's alright if you like--" She was about to continued but then stopped when all of a sudden, a pink van passed on by and then make an interrupted mid-stop pulling back over. "Is that--" Judy thought worriedly to herself, hoping she didn't see what she had just saw.
"Judy Hopps? Is that you?" Spoken an old familiar voice. "Oh no....it is!" Judy bit her bottom lip. "H-Hi Gideon." She greeted him, a bit nervously by the sound of her tone. "Well I'll be darn tootin', I thought it was you when I first spotted ya in the car." Gideon replied with a smile after getting outta the van to go and talk to her. It had been so many long years since he last saw her recently, he thought he might never had the chance to see her again once more. That was when he also had notice Finnick alongside in the car with her as well. "Well hey there little fella, ain't you a bit young to be driving behind the wheel?" The red fox spoken to the small fennec fox, easily mistaking Finnick as a young child.
"Ain't you a bit fat to be wearing an apron?" Finnick glared at the chubby fox as he let out a small growl, causing Gideon to back off a little bit away from him. "My bad!" Gideon apologized on his behalf, not realizing that Finnick was a small grown adult until now when he had talk right back at him. "Don't worry about it." Judy said to Gideon. "You're not the first animal to mistake Finnick as a kid." She added, but had to ask him the big question. "So....what brings you around here?"
"Oh you know old me, baking pies like I always do." Gideon chuckled lightly, still smiling at her. "Soon as I heard you'd be coming back, I knew I had to see you again."
"Y-y-you knew?" Judy stutter a bit. "Who told you?" "It's not whom told me it, but let's just say I've couldn't help but overheard a certain couple back at my bakery shop said you'd be returning for a visit." Gideon grinned.
Judy ended up with a facepalming reaction, realizing that means that her parents must've accidentally blurted out her arrival and Gideon must've overheard it when he wasn't supposed to. "That's....grrreeat....." She lied through her teeth.
"Anyhow, come followed me by the back, I got a surprise for you." Gideon said and headed onto the back of his van to opened the doors to get Judy's surprise. Wondering it could be, Judy was a tab bit curious, so she got outta the car and followed Gideon, where the fox presented to her a slice of pie for her as a welcoming gift. "A slice of pie....." Judy spoken dully, not really surprised at all it was just a piece of pie he was offering her. "Gideon, you shouldn't have; no really!"
"Try it." Gideon said, handing it to her. "It's got something real special inside I think you'll really like." He added, even handing her a fork too.
Unable to say no, Judy couldn't turn down the food offering so she took the plate of pie and fork and cut herself a tiny piece of the pie. But when she did, she spotted something shiny inside of the pie. Something that look like a sparkling rock. "Wait, is that--"
"Yep, sure is!" Gideon replied, pulling the surprise outta the pie to reveal it was an engagement ring. "Travis suggested if I wanted to pop the question to you, I had to pull it off into a more romantic gesture, so I've done it by putting it into a baked pie." He explained.
Judy's eyes widen like never before. Pop the question? It could only mean one thing; "Oh no, please don't! Don't do it Gideon!" Judy begged, keeping her pleading on the inside. But it was too late soon as Gideon got down on one knee. "Judy, I know I was a real jerk when we were growing up as kids, but now I-I-I realize..." He began summoning the courage he can. "Judy...I'm in love in you."
"OH SWEET CHEESE AND CRACKERS! GIDEON GREY IS IN LOVE WITH ME!?!? She knew she had to tell him the truth that she cannot accept his engagement and that she had no feelings for him, but the bunny was in such a shock, she couldn't get any sentence to come outta her mouth. "I....I....I..."
"Speechless aren't ya?" Gideon can tell just by guessing at her shocking reaction. "So....how about it? Judith Laverne Hopps, will do you me the honor of becoming Mrs. Judy Grey?" He proposed, still awaiting what the answer will be. "Or you can be Judy Hopps Grey, I'm fine with any of those full names you'll take, your choice."
"Ummm......"
"Oh snap!" Finnick said to himself after he had witness the whole thing from the car. Quickly as fast he can, he called up Nick's phone number from his cell. "Nick, you better bring your butt over here. It's Judy, you're gonna want to see this!!" He warned him.
OOC: Ooooh awkward! XD Betcha never saw that one coming huh? Also I just found that Judy's middle name is Laverne, thanks to Byron Howard, another one of the directors of Zootopia, whom confirmed this piece of info on his Twitter page lol

After a nice train trip out of Zootopia and into Bunnyborrow, Renton felt it was a nice change of pace to go from a metropolis full of hustle and bustle to a community that's more quiet and wholesome. When he got the message about having to get some extra groceries from Judy's parents, he didn't mind helping out with that; he figured her family was quite small and quaint enough to require only a few groceries. Little did he realize how wrong he would be when he would eventually meet the family out on the farm.
While strolling down the aisles to gather the items needed off the grocery list, the young buck often observed the other bunnies and their families out shopping together. Seeing all this reminded him of the times when he used to take trips to the grocery store with his parents as a fawn. Whenever he was on good behavior (and that was usually on every trip), they allowed him to pick out any special treat he wanted. Good times they were, he thought to himself with a smile.
On seldom occasion, he thought about what Judy's family might be like and how they may be able to accommodate him for the time he's there. After all, he would be the tallest animal compared to all the bunnies out on the farm. Wondering if Nick has ever gotten the chance to know Judy's extended family yet, he asked, "Say, Nick, do you know what Judy's family's like? Are they all nice, I presume? I mean, I'm sure they are. I just hope they would be able to make sleeping arrangements for me while we're there." With a laugh, he added, "I mean, they probably don't have beds for larger animals like me."

"Oh yeah. They are just regular country folk really. Hospitable and friendly, youve got nothing to worry about there." Nick told him as he picked up a couple blue berries from a local stand tasting a few of them before paying the bunny running the stand handing him a few dollars for a couple pints of it.
"Its been a while since we last visited the in-laws but, Im sure theyll have no trouble making you feel right at home." He reassured him but stopped as they had been making their way back towards where they had left Finnick and Judy only to find Gideon proposing to Judy.
A low growl escaped his throat as jealousy overtook Nick causing him to leave Renton with their recently acquire groceries as he rushed over to put the heavier set fox back in his place.
"Hey! Listen here, Tubby, this bunny is already taken, got that?!' He growled poking the fox in the chest pushing him back away from the small bunny.

"Come on Judy, don't leave me hangin' here!" Gideon said to Judy, still awaiting if her answer was gonna be a yes or a no. "We can settle in our new life together; raised a couple of little ones while I'm still running my pie baking business, and you going out doing your police duties." He continued. "I've already got my future plans on spreading word about my baked pies outside of the burrows."
Judy swallowed a nervous gulp and shook her head to snapped outta it. "Yeah about that Gideon," she finally had spoken up. "You see, the thing is...I--" Just when was about ready to tell him herself that she was already taken, she froze in fear as her eyes widen and her ears drooped as her angry jealous husband show up to break up the awkward silent engagement moment. "Oh no..."
"What? What's the matter?" Gideon asks, wondering what it was she was looking at, so the fox turn around but just before he even had time to react, Nick had already confronted him and by doing so by poking him first on the chest and pushing Gideon back away from Judy. Gideon stumbled back a bit. "Hey who do you think you are, telling me whose taken and whose not?" Gideon growled back at Nick. "Don't you know it's rude to be interrupting an important special moment here? And for your information pal, this bunny hasn't given me an answer yet!" He added angrily, about ready to pick a fight with Nick if the fox should push him again one more time.
"Uhh heheheh, Nick..." Says Judy with a nervous forced laugh and fake smile. "I see you've finally met Gideon Grey." She had deeply fear her worst nightmare of the two foxes meeting would come true, but it was much more worse than she ever imagined it would be. "Gideon, this is...Nick. He's--"
"Judy, what the hell is going on here?!" Gideon asks, now confronting Judy. Judging by her sudden uncomfortable behavior, it was super easy to tell that she wasn't telling him something; and this was coming from a heavy fox who didn't seem very bright at times. "And I want the truth, so start talking! Are you or are you not taken?"
Judy let out a defeated sighed. "Actually Gideon..." She said as she stood next to Nick by his side, and revealed to Gideon the wedding ring on her finger. "I am."
"Now wait just a darn minute, you mean to tell me you're married and you didn't tell me right away!?!?" Cried Gideon, reacting quite shock but mostly angry. "Do you have any idea how long it took me to save up all the money to afford you this engagement ring? I had to work my butt off for extra shifts!"
"Umm.....sorry?" Replied Judy with a shrug, still a bit frighten on what Gideon's next reaction would be. "So whose the husband?" Gideon asks, but before he got himself a straight answer, he gave Nick a dirty look that was outta pure jealously. "Don't tell me it's this guy right here!" He added, pointing a finger at Nick.
Judy gave Nick a bit of a quick glance before looking away, her cheeks flushing a small color of pink. "Uhh heheh yeah, what a big surprise this is huh?" She responded, still feeling like a nervous frighten wreck on the inside and out. But she decided to drop it, by pretending to act serious now as she clear up her throat. "But um yeah, in all seriousness Gideon, I am married to Nick. We've been married for 16 years, so I'm afraid you're too late."
"16 years....?!" Gideon repeated in confusion as he try to sum it up in his head. The last time he remembered encountering Judy was when he apologized to her for what he did to her back in their youthful old childhood days, and ever since then, Gideon hadn't seen or heard back from Judy ever again, up until now; And that is what exactly happened 16 years ago before Nick and Judy's relationship became serious; that was when Gideon came to that shocking discovery, he realized there was more to the story than meets the eye. "Judy, have you been....have you been avoiding me all this time since our last encounter together?!?!" He yelled.
"Ehhh.....maybe?!" Judy quickly commented after dropping her seriousness and going back to feeling a bit scared. "Are you upset?" "UPSET?! I'M MORE THAN UPSET!! I'M OUTRAGED!" Gideon shouted at the poor concerned bunny. "Here I am now after not being able to see you since for more than over a decade, only to find out now you've been taken by another fox?!?!" If looks could killed, Gideon would've had Nick dead in less by under a minute. Since it was too late for him to ask for the bunny's paw in marriage, Gideon started walking away from the couple.
"Gideon, I'm really sorry about this." Judy apologized as she followed after the fox, but not for very long once she had stopped in her tracks right when Gideon was now just getting inside of his van. "I wish I could've told you about this sooner, but--"
"Oh cut the crap now Judy, there's nothing you can say now that would fix this!" Gideon growled, now glaring at Judy. "You broke my heart! And just for that, I'm getting payback for what you had done." Rather than getting his revenge on Judy the old fashion way like he had done before in the past, he pulled out his cell phone from his side pocket and called up the number of Judy's parents.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Judy asks Gideon, not understanding at first on what was going on until the next most shocking thing had happened.
"Hello? Mr. H?" Gideon responded after Judy's folks had pick up the phone. "Yeah this is Gideon Grey. I'm calling to let you know that you've been fired!" He revealed. "Uh-huh! Yeah, that's right. I'm letting you go outta the business, there's been a change in plans." He added as he gave another mad look at Nick and Judy, giving the couple the kind of look like they were to be blamed. "Yep, that means the Mrs. too! Goodbye!" And with that, he had hung up without telling the couple why he had his reason for firing them.
Judy's jaw had dropped. "You FIRED MY PARENTS!?!?" She cried horrified that Gideon would go and do something that cold and heartless. "After all they've done, being your working partner?!?"
"Well how do you like them apples?" Says Gideon, as his cold-hearted way of pissing off the rabbit. "Hurts don't it?" Afterword, he got the van all started up and ready to go. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got someplace important I need to be at." He said, and with that he had drove off til he was out of sight.
"I don't believe it! He--he can't just do that! That good for nothing, dumb--" Judy couldn't find the words to cuss out Gideon after what he did, it made her just wanna blow off steam.
"WOW!" Finnick began to finally talk after he witness silently over the whole thing. "Would I hate to be in your shoes right now if I was you Nick." He said, addressing over to his friend/ex-crime partner. "It's always bad news when the ex starts showing up back into the picture."
Judy's face went red after overhearing that last comment the fennec fox had just said. "Gideon Grey is NOT my ex, we weren't even friends!" She corrected the fennec fox with the urge of feeling very well disgust for Finnick to believe that Gideon would be some type of ex former lover of hers.
"I ain't convinced Judes, not with the way your face is turning red." Finnick replied, misreading the hint the bunny was trying to tell at.
But that finally had did it; unable to hold back the anger, Judy let it all out, and not in a very good way either. "GIDEON GREY WAS NEVER AN OLD MATE OF MINE, AND HE NEVER WILL BE!!" She screamed outta pure and total frustration. "HE'S A STUPID INSENSITIVE SELFISH JERK LIKE ALL THE REST OF YOU LYING NO-GOOD SELF-CENTER UNCARING EGOTISTICAL FOXES! THE REST OF YOU FOXES ARE ALL THE SAME, YOU DON'T CARE FOR NO ONE BUT YOUR OWN GREEDY SELF!" She ended all of it right there once she had gasped in horror for what she had just said; dissing all foxes, that including even her own husband Nick, his ex partner Finnick, and maybe even her own son Terry as well.
Finnick's mouth dropped in shock after the bunny was done ranting. "What did you just say about us foxes?" "No no no, wait! That's not what I--" Judy try to think of another way to say that she was sorry, knowing she didn't meant to take it that far. She didn't know what came over her, but she was so mad at Gideon for what he had did, the bunny had never thought she would let that kind thing go that far from upsetting her.
But the fennec fox was not going to let the rabbit get away with that. "Are you gonna let her talk to us that way Nick?!?!" Finnick cried, awaiting for Nick's answer while still being very pissed off with Judy for her words.

"Thats right pal, this bunny here is my wife and the mother of our child for your information. You snooze, you lose." Nick growled at Gideon once Judy had finally told the fox the truth about them though he was quite surprised she hadn't done it sooner, but that was to be discussed at a later time.
"Forget him, Carrots, he was nothing but a sore loser anyway." Nick spoke as he watched Gideon huff away in his van.
His jaw almost dropped open when Judy ranted on about how all foxes, himself included, were self-centered, egotistical, and uncaring jerks. He waited until she had finished her rant before speaking, ignoring his old partner for the moment, all of his attention focused on Judy.
"I am a fox. I would've thought you, of all people, had finally looked past that stereotype by now." He told her his voice becoming somewhat cold and distant. "Maybe it's best you go to your parents tonight. Im sure us foxes, wouldn't be welcomed anyway." He added turning his back and finally looking over towards Finnick finally. "Come on, let's go. We're not wanted here."

As the fight between Judy and Gideon Grey unfolded, Renton couldn't bear to see it get any worse. He didn't want the situation to escalate any further and lead to a breaking up of the group, yet when Judy started bad-mouthing about foxes, that struck a bad chord in his heart. In many of the arguments and fights that he had witnessed in the past (such as in school), he usually just stood among the crowd and expected some authority figure to step in and put an end to the quarreling, so he never gained much experience being a mediator of any fight on his own. But since no one else was stepping in to stop this particular quarrel, it was up to him to take a stand and act as the peacemaker. Gathering up the courage he needed, Renton stepped forth between Judy and Nick and shouted, "Okay, hold it!"
He briefly allowed a pause to occur between Judy and Nick before he would calmly continue. "I'm sure this is all just a huge misunderstanding." Going over to Judy and get on one knee to console her, the young buck looked to Nick and Finnick and said, "There's no reason to be mad at her. She didn't really mean what she said. She didn't know what she was saying. She just...let her emotions run away with her." Looking down to the upset rabbit, he asked her, "Isn't that right, Judy? Things went a little awry and you let your emotions get the best of you."
Expecting an agreement to come from all members of the group, Renton rationally offered a solution that could work out for all of them and put the fight behind them all. "Look, why don't we go talk to Judy's parents and sort this out? We can reason with this...Gideon person and reach an understanding so that we're all on the same page. Then we can go right back to focusing on finding your son and his friend. Does that sound good?"
The young buck cared very deeply for his new friends, and he never wanted a break up to happen between them so soon, especially after they had just gotten started on the search for their missing son and boar friend.

"Get in the car Nick." Finnick told Nick by signaling a pointed thumb next to the empty front seat that was right next to him.
"You mean you're just going to ditch us here?!" Cried Judy, almost taken by surprise that the two foxes were going to leave her and Renton behind by the use of their rental car. "We know when we're not needed!" Finnick answered with a stern glare at the bunny. Horrified, the poor upsetting bunny try to stop her fox husband from getting inside of the car. "Wait wait wait! Nick, Nick! Please, don't do this, don't go!" Judy try to begged of him while she try to fought back the tears that were coming from her eyes. However, much to her luck, their deer companion finally took a step forward in to try to keep the team from breaking apart.
Poor Judy had felt awful for what she had said about all foxes being nothing more but jerks. Not only had she felt deeply ashamed for saying such things right in front of Nick and Finnick's faces like that, but Judy hadn't felt this bad since the time when she told the press conference back at the ZPD about the predators going savage because of her believing guess back then that it may have been in their biology DNA, a sense of natural instincts (before it was later than found out it was the night howlers that cause it), and Judy had never forgotten how much that had angered and offended poor Nick a lot, but that was a very long time ago.
Judy finally let the tears fall silently down her cheeks as she listened on to what Renton had to say. Then, she sniffled as she was wiping them away. "Yes, it's true. You're right." Judy reply with a nod, agreeing with what Renton had said about her emotions getting to her head and then she look towards Nick. "Nick, I am so sorry for the things I said, and I don't blame you for it. I would be mad too if another animal, prey OR predator, said terrible things about bunnies." She began by apologizing first as she came towards her husband. "I've been feeling like an emotional wreck since Terry left, and I think he hates me now after we had our fight right before he left with Dallas." She added. "But you need to know that I love you and I would never do anything to hurt you or our son!"
She gaze up at Nick, showing the pure sadness in her gorgeous purple eyes. "And I do mean it; very word of it! So very very much, from the bottom of my heart because...." She briefly paused as she was gently taking his paws and holding them with hers, gazing up at him again. "Being with you everyday of my life has brought me joy and happiness. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me since I came to Zootopia. And if I had known back then that I was gonna be spending the rest of my life with a special somebody, I'm glad that someone is you. You're an amazing father and a loving husband!"
"So please I beg of you, don't leave." Feeling the tears about ready to come out once again, Judy gave Nick a big old hug and started crying. "I know we have to find him, but I can't do it without you! Please forgive me." But right away, she stopped once her ears perked up high by the sound of somebody sniffling, and it wasn't coming from Nick or Renton either. "Finnick, are you crying?" She couldn't help but ask the fennex fox.
"NO!" Finnick lied. "I ain't crying! Just got a little minor allergy going on, that's all!" But Judy wasn't exactly falling for the fennec fox's little white lie. "Nice try Finnick, but you can't fool me." She smirked, since this wasn't the first time Finnick had to deny about little "allergy" excuse. "I believe the last time I saw you get a bit emotional was at our wedding day; other than my dad sobbing out loud like a little baby." Judy chuckled.
"Oh yeah? Well the ceremony would've ended over half an hour ago if it hadn't been Nick's idea for hiring that sloth as your priest." Finnick pointed out by rolling his eyes at the reminder to the couple of course, about Nick's old friend Flash the sloth from the DMV. "What a bore he was!"
"He HAD to go there didn't he?" Judy thought to herself, a little annoyed by that bit. If there was one thing that was unforgettable at Nick and Judy's wedding, it was quite obviously Flash. And probably it had to be the most slowest thing at the altar anyone could had ever attended in watching. "Oh yeah...." Judy just so happened to agree before looking back at Nick. "I'm still not forgiving you for that Nick!" She said to Nick with a bit of a small glare, referring to the bit about Flash.
When Renton had offer his suggestion about them going to go have a word with Stu and Bonnie about the whole Gideon Grey situation, that was one idea that Judy did not agreed with. She shook her head at the deer, as her way of saying no. "Thanks, but no thanks Mr. Whitetail." She told Renton. "And for the record there, I wouldn't exactly call Dallas a friend of Terry's. Last time I check, friends don't get other friends into trouble or pick fights with them from school! And they also don't do name-calling to them such as the term 'freaks!'" She added.
"For once, I agree with the rabbit." Finnick had spoken up. "Ain't your folks carrot farmers Judy?" He asks, addressing on over to the bunny.
"Well yes, but--"
"There you go; problem solved. They can make their own money without him. I'd say we forget all about that fatso and just moved on." Said Finnick, but he knew they couldn't go just yet unless he had gotten the saying so from Nick. "How about it Nick? You still wanna head on over to the Hopps family with them?" He asks.

"That's all I needed to hear Carrots." Nick told her with a small smile when Judy had apologized to him. "We'll deal with that Gideon Fatso later, we have more important matters right now than dealing with him anyway." He decided walking over to the van and opening the door for Judy and Renton to get in to go to the home of Judy's parents.

A sense of relief came to the young buck's heart, as it was uncertain if what Nick had to say would either keep the group united or break it up completely. It was very fortunate that it was the former, and Renton was eager to get back on the case after having come this far on the trip.
After helping put the groceries into the car and getting settled into his seat, he told Judy, "I can't wait to meet your folks, Judy. Nick told me they're very nice and hospitable. I just hope they all like me."
