"Oh don't you worry about a thing Mr. Whitetail, my family is always nice when it comes to visitors." Judy said to Renton after her husband Nick accepted her apology and she felt relief about it too. "Aside from my parents, my 275 brothers and sisters enjoy having guests around too, and so do their children." She added with a small smile, although the bunny rabbit herself couldn't help but wonder how the sleeping arrangements was going to work out for him since their friend Renton is after all, a deer and the most tallest one in their whole group, but Judy was certainly sure that her father Stu and her mother Bonnie will be able to work something out for their young friend. "But I should warn you, my nieces and nephews can get a bit, well...a tab bit overexcited."
And with that, they made it to the Hopps family farm home at last, where Judy had spotted her niece Mina playing with three little small bunnies who happened to be the cousins. Mina was the first one to notice her aunt and uncle getting outta the car. "Aunt Judy, Uncle Nick!" The tan female bunny greeted, hurrying on over to welcome her aunt and uncle with a great big old hug.
"Hello Mina, it's nice to see you again!" Judy smiled after being welcomed by a good old familiar face and hugged her back. Mina couldn't help but notice Finnick and Renton with them, and yet no hybrid around. "No sign of cousin Terry yet?" She asks her aunt with a frown. Even though Mina had lots and lots of cousins, she had always been more protective of her younger cousin Terry and was more closer to him too.
"No Mina, I'm afraid not. Sorry." Judy replied disappointed feeling broken on the inside just for the reminder of it, but try her hardest to hold on strong knowing fully well that Terry would be found again real soon. If they can find him once, they know for sure that they'll find him again. Remembering that they had guests with them, Judy gave out the introductions. "Oh Mina, you remember Finnick." She said, at first re-introducing over to the fennec fox and next a new introduction to the tall deer. "And this is Renton Whitetail. He's here with me, Finnick and your uncle Nick to help us find your cousin Terry."
"Nice to meet you sir." Mina greeted by welcoming Renton with a polite handshake. Mina turned around to give her little cousins the intros next, but spotted that one was missing. "Hey, where's--?" She was about to ask, when one of the cousins pointed to where the other missing young bunny went, only to find out that the little one had returned and right behind him was an entire stampede of cute little bunnies.
Finnick's large big ears drooped down and his eyes widen in fear. "OH DANG!!" He cried, and took cover by climbing onto Renton's back. "INCOMING!!!" But it was too late, all of Judy's nieces and nephews playfully tackle down the deer and the fennec fox, knocking Finnick off from the deer's back.
"Hi I'm Cocoa!" A dark brown male bunny said to Renton, greeting him. "And I'm Flopsy." The next male bunny spoken to Renton eagerly hopping up and down, who was a light grey color bunny. "And I'm Chester." Says the next male bunny who greeted Renton next, but was a mixture color of grey and light brown. "Come play with me." "No me, I saw him first!" A female bunny by the name of Trixie shouted at Chester, and pulled onto Renton's right ear. But all of the little young bunnies weren't the only ones surrounding poor Renton, even a few of them had outnumber poor Finnick too as well.
"Hey, aren't you the funny looking doggy who DJ at Uncle Nick and Aunt Judy's wedding?" A little male bunny by the name of Ollie had asked Finnick. "We heard a lot about you!" "I'M NOT A DOG!!" Finnick shouted out loud in annoyance.
Judy try her hardest not to laugh, because after all, she did warned one of them about her nieces and nephews getting over excited when it came to meeting new faces. "Told you they get overexcited." She said, after letting out a bit of a small laugh, but notice there was no sign of her parents Stu and Bonnie just yet. "Um Mina, where are your grandparents at?" She turned to ask her older niece, wondering if she had seen them around.
"Oh they're still indoors Aunt Judy, but uhh, things aren't recently going too well for them." Mina answered. "Nana and Poppa are pretty upset because their working partner, Gideon Grey, fired them and apparently for no reason at all! He didn't say why."
But of course, Judy obviously knew why since she and the others had just recently had a run-in with Gideon Grey not too very long ago just outside by the supermarket. "Ohh....imagine that...." Judy gulped as she looked away, feeling quite awkward, but was smart enough not to say why. The only problem was, Judy had no idea how she was going to tell her parents the real reason behind all of it as to why Gideon had did fired them. But one's thing for sure; if anybody was going to go and reason with Gideon, Judy believed that she should be the one to do it alone by herself, without letting her husband, friends or family members know about it. It had been her own fault for not letting Gideon know about Nick sooner, and it would be best not to get them, or anyone else involved either. Now all she needed was to look for the perfect right time later on today to sneak off and search of Gideon, whenever she was able to get the chance of it and soon before it becomes too late.

275 siblings?! Renton thought in astonishment. Almost about to laugh, his thoughts added, That's crazy! Wondering how his parents ever dealt with that many siblings at once, he hoped they all wouldn't be as overexcited as Judy claimed they might be, but he was prepared for the worst as soon as he arrived with the others on Judy's family farm.
Upon meeting Mina for the first time, he politely bent forward to shake her paw and replied with, "Nice to meet you as well." Before he could give his greetings to everyone else, Renton was already on the ground within a matter of seconds and laughing at how cute all of the little bunny children were as they climbed over him. Now he understood what Judy meant about them being overexcited. "Yes, yes, it's nice to meet all of you."
Then a sudden pulling sensation came from one of his ears. Gasping in pain, he cried, "Ow, ow, ow! Please let go! That really hurts! Ow!" Struggling to easily break free from the clutches of the adorable bunnies, he held a hand up high and called out from the bunny pile, "Judy? Help!"

"So long as you are alright with things getting a little crowded, you'll do fine." Nick told him with a quick pat on the shoulder before getting into the passenger seat of the car letting Finnick take the wheel as it was his former partner's car after all. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick couldn't help but laugh as poor Renton and Finnick being "attacked" by some of Judy's younger siblings. "Told ya, you'd fit right in." He teased the white tail deer companion.
"Judy! It's so good to see you." Bonnie, Judy's mom, hurried over to greet her daughter hugging her. "Hey! There she is! There's my Judy!" Stu soon joined his wife hugging his daughter as well.
Nick cleared his throat to get the two bunnies attention soon afterward before they turned to face him. "Hey mom, hey dad." He greeted the in-laws with a small smile. "Nick! Of course it's good to see you too, right dear?" Bonnie spoke taking a minute to hug Nick after he bent down lower to her level of course and addressing her husband as well.
They didn't have anything really against Nick but because such a marriage between species was unheard of, it was taking a bit of getting used to especially for Judys old school parents.
"Of course, put it there, Nick." Stu spoke offering his paw for Nick to shake which Nick did though he made a point to not grip his bunny father in-law's paw too hard given the size difference between them and how easy it could be to accidently do so.
"So, how long are you planning on sticking around, Honey?" Stu turned to ask Judy as Bonnie turned her attention to their kids. "Cocoa! Flopsy! Chester! That's enough! Stop pestering our guests!"
"I suppose you heard about Gideon Gray huh?" Nick spoke to Stu.
"Yeah. Strangest thing, he called in a huff and quit his partnership with us. I can't say Im surprised given the fact that he's a fo- err what I mean to say is he always did have a temper." Stu replied a little flustered and made a point to quickly correct himself from insulting his son in-law's species of course.
"Right. Sure.' Nick replied. "So uh...you mind if I help myself to some blueberries there, Pops?" He added changing the subject making his way over to the small pantry he knew they were stored in.
"Oh sure. You go right ahead. We had the kids pick them for ya when we heard you were coming." Bonnie told him.
"Awww. Im touched." Nick replied putting a paw over his heart for a moment in a tiny appreciative gesture before helping himself to some berries.

"Mom, Dad! Hi!" Judy responded happily to seeing her parents again and returned the hugging as well. When her father Stu had asked her how long she and the others were going to be staying with them, Judy was just about to answer his question until she notice that her niece Mina was struggling on getting some of the much more younger bunnies off from Renton and Finnick while Bonnie was telling them to stop pestering them so much.
"Uhh Aunt Judy, a little help here please?" Called the she-bunny. Right away, Judy had step in and rush right over to the rescue; and right at that very second, Finnick had had enough of being playfully attacked by the small bunnies, so the only did he did do was began to snarl very loudly at them, causing the bunnies that were with him to back away. But before he could do anything next, Judy quickly picked Finnick up and then her turned her attention fast over to the other ones that were piling up on top of the poor deer. "Okay, that's enough outta you guys! You can play with the deer later. But first, give him some air." She told them.
A lot of all of the other small younger bunnies stop what they were doing and did as they were told by stepping back away from Renton so he can get up. "Sorry about that you two." Judy apologized to the fennec fox and the white-tailed deer after she put Finnick back down and brushed off the dirt that was on Fininck's clothes, but Finnick insisted that he would do it on his own, not needing Judy's help to clean the dirt right off him.
"Do ALL of those bunnies do that to your guests?" Finnick asks Judy, obviously not too pleased about that crazy welcoming he and Renton had to almost suffer.
"Oh you be surprised Finnick, you should've seen how they were the first time they met Nick." Judy replied with a bit of a small laugh. "But now Terry is always the center of their attention with them whenever we bring him over for family visits." She added, but it wasn't until very long that Judy would give out their next introductions, but this time with her parents. "Oh! Mom, Dad, I'd like you to meet our new friend Renton Whitetail. And of course you already know Nick's old friend Finnick."
For Finnick, he hadn't seen Judy's parents since he first met them when they had attended Nick and Judy's wedding back in Zootopia, but the fennec fox hadn't forgotten about them. "'Sup?" He gave a quick little greeting to Stu and Bonnie til he turn towards over to Judy. "Hey yo Judes, where the drinks at? I'm thirsty!"
For a small guy, it was easily to tell how cranky Finnick can get whether he was hungry or thirsty. "There should be a fresh batch of lemonade and iced tea somewhere around I'm sure the others are still making for us right now." Mina answered, offering to take the fennec fox with her to show them where they were making the nice icy cold drinks at while Judy decided on taking care of the rest of the groceries inside of the Hopps Family house, with a helping paw or two. After that was finished, Judy had notice Gideon's business card located right on the refrigerator door. Quickly, she snatch the business card away from the fridge and head out into one of the other rooms by herself and contacted Gideon's number with her cell phone.
He didn't pick up, but she did left him a message. "Gideon? It's me Judy." She began. "Listen, we need to have a talk. I feel bad about what happened with the--" She started pacing around in circles as she was trying to leave him a message, but stop when she had notice somebody had walked right into that very door she was in, and that somebody was Finnick holding a cold glass of iced tea. She froze in her tracks, staring at Finnick. "Umm....I'll call you back." She finished and then hung up.
"Who was that?" Finnick asks, growing suspiciously of Judy while stirring his drink with a red straw. "No one!" Judy replied, refusing to tell him because knowing Finnick too well, he would have to rat her out to Nick.
"If it's who I think it is Judes, I'd say you're pulling off a bad move. Does Nick know?" Finnick had asked. With those big ears of his, he can hear right away from that private message that Judy was trying to send to Gideon.
"That is NONE of your business Finnick!" Judy answered, giving the fennec fox quite the stern of a warning glare as her simple way of hinting to the fennec fox about not saying a single word about it to Nick, or else! "And Nick doesn't have to know about anything; now if you'll please excuse me, I need to step out for a while. I'll be back in time for dinner tonight." She told Finnick as she had left the room; search for the keys and then left by taking the Hopps Family's old blue truck and went out for a drove without even informing anyone where she was going at.
After Judy was gone, Finnick began to wonder whether or not if he should tell Nick where the bunny was going at; but without any solid proof, what chance would they have at believing him? So instead, he try on calling up Judy's number. Meanwhile, Judy decided on searching up for Gideon at this bakery shop, only to have notice that Finnick kept on calling her over and over again. But still, she refused to pick up her cell. Upon noticing the sound of her ringtone coming from her phone, Judy pick up her phone, look at the number of it, and hung up. But before Finnick could even try to get another hold of Judy, the rabbit turned off her cell phone, this way she wouldn't to be distracted by all of the missed calls.
But as soon as she had reach up Gideon's bakery shop, it was closed. Luckily for the rabbit, a tiny little mouse was passing through taking notice that the bunny was searching for Gideon Grey, so he told her that Gideon was last seen at the park and that was the next stop Judy had went. After entering upon the park at last, she parked the truck in the parking lot, only to have notice that Gideon's pink van was still in the parking lot, which meant only thing; that Gideon was still inside at the park. After getting outta the truck, Judy had notice the Hopps Family's name on Gideon's van was cover up by red spray paint; given that it was a reminder that Gideon had quit his partnership with her folks.
The park was pretty big, with lots of fun activities to do such as playing, or tracking or even enjoying a nice picnic there. It felt a bit odd for Judy to be stepping back into her old childhood park that she hadn't visited in decades, since the last time she even bother attending a park herself was back in Zootopia when Terry was only just a small toddler, but she and her son had left that park early due to an ugly feud she had gotten with a female bobcat and her three young precious little cubs since the bobcat did not want the hybrid anywhere near her children who were playing in the sandbox. But that didn't mean Judy had bad times at her own park growing up, in fact some of the best memories she can recall happened a lot at this old park she was re-visiting. It even brought back some good old moments in her life by celebrating even her own brothers and sisters' birthday parties that were taken here at the park.
Judy stop walking when the first thing that she immediately saw was a kids' birthday party in the park, and there was Gideon placing all of his freshly good baked pies on the table while Travis, who was dressed up in a clown costume was entertaining the children. "Alright kids, come n' get them. Pies are ready!" Gideon called out, til he spotted right over his shoulder was Judy.
"Wow look at you Gideon, catering children's birthday parties." Judy lighten up with a bit of a small smile. "I'll be darn." Unfortunately, for Gideon he clearly was not pleased to see Judy again and all on the very same day as well too. "Judy, what the heck do you think you're doing here? GET LOST!"
"But Gideon, I--" Judy began to try to explain, but then got interrupted when a cute small female fox cub in a blue and white dress with curly ponytail pigtails was the first one to show up and had spotted the pies on the table. But it wasn't just the pies she had notice as well, but also Judy too. "My word, aren't you lovely?" She spoken at Judy with a smile. Much like Gideon, the little she-fox also had a southern thick accent.
"Awww well thank you sweetie." Judy thank the small child for her kind words. "Is this the pretty bunny you say you're gonna marry?" She asks Gideon by looking at him and by pointing a finger at Judy, assuming that this was the one that all Gideon has ever talked about. Judy's smile had faded and her ears drop low, somewhat embarrassed since she didn't have the words to say about that.
Gideon cleared his throat and lightly patted the sweet young child's back. "Umm Jessica, why don't you go run along and fetch your brother?" He spoken kindly to her. "I'm sure Billy's dying to get a piece of his favorite pie; pecan!"
"Okay!" Jessica grinned and hurried off to find her brother while the rest of the other children were showing up to get their pies. "Awww Gideon, I didn't know you were a single father of two." Says Judy placing her right paw over on her heart, assuming that Jessica and Billy were Gideon's cubs.
"Huh?! Oh no, Billy and Jessica aren't mine, those are my sister's kids!" Gideon corrected her. "I'm watching over them while she's outta town." He added, but was not going to explain much more after that since he didn't understand why Judy show up uninvited to the birthday party.
"Ohhh..." Judy took another look, only to have notice that besides Gideon being there at the party, it was just only him and Travis. And yet, no sign of Billy and Jessica's parents anywhere. "But where the other--" She was close in asking where the other adults were at, but then Gideon had stop her by grabbing a firm tight hold onto Judy's arm and dragging her away from the party, back by the parked vehicles this way the other children wouldn't have to hear them out loud. "You better have a good explanation for showing up here to a birthday party you weren't invited to Judy!" He growled.
"Ow ow ow! Okay okay, but let me go!!" Judy yelped in pain, struggling outta the fox's tight grip until he let go of her arm. "Listen Gideon, I've been trying to get a hold of you on the phone, but since you didn't answer, I show up in person to apologize. I think we got off on the wrong foot and I--"
"You should've told me the truth Judy!" Gideon cried. "But instead, you avoided me!" "How was I supposed to know that you were in love with me?" Cried Judy, but did her best by keeping her tone down so she wouldn't be heard out loud and cause a scene. "Look Gideon, I never meant for things to--" She was cut off shortly when Gideon turned his back towards her, unable to look her in the eyes with his arms crossed to his chest. "Is it true what that husband of yours said?" He asks without even looking over his shoulder. "You two got yourselves a child?"
"Actually yes, we do." Judy answered, and to give him proof that it was the truth, she pulled out her wallet to get a photo of Terry so she can show Gideon the picture. "In fact, I was wondering; You wouldn't happened to have seen two teenagers passing through here in Bunnyburrow have you? A boar and a hybrid?" She asks just outta curiosity.
"A hybrid? What's a hybrid?" Gideon asks, turning around having no clue what Judy was talking about since he had never heard about a hybrid before. "You've never heard of a hybrid before?" She asks, reacting a bit surprise, then shown Gideon the photo of her son. "This is a hybrid. His name is Terry." She said, showing Gideon the photo so this way the fox could get an idea of what an hybrid would look like.
But Gideon did not take it so well. "EWW! WHAT IN TARNATION IS THAT THING?! IT'S HIDEOUS!" "That THING there is my son!" Glared Judy, almost a bit shocked that Gideon would react that poorly to the picture of her son, and not only that, it had hurt her feelings from the way he had taken it badly. "He is a beautiful living creature like the rest of us in this world, and you have no right for judging him like that based on his appearance alone! So what if he appears to be different? Being different is a good thing! It's what makes us one of a kind!"
"Pfft, you must be real stupid or something to go mothering a creature like that!" Gideon replied, reacting quite rudely to Judy, now wishing he did not had to see Terry's photo. "You were the one who said we could raised a family together when you try to propose to me!" Judy pointed out by yelling angrily at him. "Yeah, I meant by adopting! Not breeding something like...THAT! It's IMPOSSIBLE!" Gideon told her. While he wasn't exactly against interspecies couples, just the thought of producing offspring that was born of two mixed animals sounded ridiculous, crazy even. "Or at least I thought it was 'til you show me that ugly photo of him. Ugh!"
Furious by the negative bad talk Gideon was saying about her son, Judy angrily stomp onto his foot on purpose, causing him to jump up and down holding onto his injured foot. "NO ONE BAD MOUTHS A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY AND GETS AWAY WITH IT! Especially not some stupid redneck bully such as yourself Gideon Grey! It's because of YOU I used to have a slight fear of foxes until I met Nick Wilde and he has changed my life for the better by bringing out the best in me! And he is TEN TIMES more better of a trustworthy fox than you'll ever be!"
Unable to face Gideon anymore, Judy storm off away in angry tears while Gideon headed back to the birthday party in the park after he forced himself to stop hopping on one foot, grumbling some unheard curse words underneath his breath. Since Judy had given up getting through to Gideon, it was time to go home before everyone back at her family's farm would get worried sick about her and send out a search party. She got in the truck and got it ready, but right after just pulling outta her parking spot, the truck came to a mid stop. Much to her horror, Judy discover that she was out of gas and now she was stuck at the park.
"Great!" Judy grumbled. Now stranded at the park, the only thing Judy could do now was to just walk around in the park to clear her mind out. It was good thing that her park was big enough to go exploring, so long as she stay clear away from the party that Gideon was catering, she would be fine. So the bunny got outta the truck and started going for a stroll, not even realizing that her phone was left behind back in the truck unused and turned off.

After Judy's siblings managed to get off of him, Renton was relieved to get some air and sit back up again. "Ah, thanks, Judy." He then stood back on his feet and rub on the ear that was pulled earlier so that he could soothe it before greeting Stu and Bonnie. "A pleasure to meet you. I can see that your children are quite a handful. Or should I say 'paw-ful?'" he said with a light laugh.
Once inside the farmhouse and having entered the kitchen to help with unloading the groceries, the observant buck took note of all the activity that went on in the house, particularly with all the bunny children running around and playing in all of the rooms. It were as though the house almost never slept. Given how Stu and Bonnie didn't appear as though they were about to collapse from exhaustion due to the hard work put into raising the family, they seemed to manage it quite well.
It wasn't long until the groceries were put away when he noticed that Judy had gone missing. Knowing her, he reasoned that she would be back soon enough. Wondering what to do to help pass the time until she returned, he asked Judy's parents, "So, what do you all like to do for fun around here?"

Before Stu or Bonnie could answer Renton's question, Nick asked, "Anyone seen Judy? I've tried calling her several times and it just keeps going straight to voice mail. That's not like her at all."

It was Finnick who was the last one to have seen Judy, so after trying over and over again on calling Judy's phone number, the fennec fox had given up once he had figured out that she wasn't going to answer. Wondering whether or not if he should head out on his own or not to search for the missing bunny, Finnick decided it was best not to, so instead he went to go and look for Nick. He found him right exactly on time once the fox had asked his in-laws, and Renton, if any one of them had seen Judy at all.
But before that was answer, Finnick clear up his throat as he way of announcing that he was there. "Hey Nick, I need a word with you; like right now!" He had to excused himself by dragging Nick outta the room until both the fox and fennec fox were by themselves. Finnick double check to make sure the coast was clear. "I don't have a clue where Judy's at right now, but I think I've got a pretty good solid idea where she's heading at;" Finnick was telling Nick privately by keeping his voice down so that way nobody else would be able to overhear them talking. "You remember the overweight jerk we've met earlier? The guy who try proposing to your wife? Yeah I've overheard her trying to leave him a message on the phone. I think she's taken off to go have a private meeting with him or something!"

As soon as the conversation between him and Judy's parents resumed, Renton offered them the topic of discussion about what life was like working on a farm, and he listened in. Soon enough, Renton's ears pricked up to hear sounds coming from the opposite side of the room where Nick and Finnick were whispering to each other. He was surprised to learn of the possible whereabouts of Judy and needed to get involved with what the two foxes were talking about. Politely, he needed to interrupt the folks and felt his pants pocket, pretending that his phone was vibrating, and he asked, "Erm, would you two excuse me, please? My phone's vibrating. This might be an important call. I'll be right back."
Excusing himself, he casually left the room and met Nick and Finnick, talking in low whispers, "Is it true? Judy left the farm to deal with that Gideon Grey fellow? Why would she do that? Doesn't she realize we should be focusing on finding her son right now?"

"That's my very thought, Renton." Nick replied suppressing a growl he felt growing within him at the thought of Judy running off to meet with Gideon secretly. "Let's go find her." He told Finnick and Renton, not bothering to wait for an answer as he led the way off to find his wife.

Renton agreed and was about to follow Nick and Finnick behind until he remembered that he couldn't leave Bonnie and Stu hanging and leave them to wonder what was going on. He needed to buy some time and not let them get suspicious about his lengthy disappearance, so he needed to come up with some convincing excuse. Then a light bulb popped in his head, and he returned to the elderly couple, holding up his phone and pretend to hang up. "Sorry about that. Turned out to be another one of those stupid telemarketers. I mean, how annoying can they be, am I right?" he asked with a laugh.
Then he looked at his phone again and used his thumb to pretend to push a couple buttons, scroll his screen down and look for any text messages that he got. "Oh, look. Judy left a text saying that she needs some help out on the farm." Not wanting to let Bonnie and Stu be intrigued to help out, he assured them, "No, no, don't get up. It's just something that she only needs me, Nick and Finnick for. Don't worry, we'll be right back." Backing up, he then made his exit and quietly followed the other foxes out toward the rental car.
Once inside the car, he asked them, "Where could she have gone? Other than the supermarket, I can't imagine where else she may be go to meet with this other fox."

"Neither can I, but we better find her fast!" Finnick agreed with Renton. Since the small fennec fox did not know his way around in Bunnyburrow well like Judy did, and with all of the missed calls going straight to her voicemail, tracking Judy down by the phone would be impossible to do if her cell phone wasn't on her or if it was turn off. So their best chance to look for the missing bunny was to ask anybody in Bunnyburrow who may of seen her.
After leaving the Hopps family farm, the search had began. It wasn't very easy, but eventually a bit later that day they did got an answer when they saw a little mouse driving on by informing the two foxes and the one deer that the rabbit was at the park. Once there were there, they spotted their next clue; Judy's truck. "Yep, for sure she's still here alright!" Finnick said after he had parked the rental car into the parking lot. After that, they got out of the vehicle, and right after their search was just barely starting, they heard a familiar old male voice.
"Hey Travis, watch over the little critters for me for a while will ya?" Upon hearing it, they had recognize who it was. "I gotta go back and return the--"
"Err...who are they?" Travis asks Gideon, also noticing Renton, Finnick and Nick. After spending time all day long at the birthday party, Gideon Grey needed to do a quick error by returning his engagement ring back to the jewelry store where he had purchased it, only to stop mid way in his sentence spotting the same familiar faces he saw earlier that were with Judy.
"Okay grubby, start talking! Where's Judy?" Finnick yelled at Gideon, threatening to get a straight answer from the fat fox. The first sound coming from Gideon was a soft low growl underneath his breath and he stuffed away the ring back into his pocket. "Who cares?! She's ain't here!" Gideon told them.
"Oh yeah? Then prove that!" Finnick inform him, pointing a finger right behind him to where the Hopps family truck was at. Gideon's eyes widen a bit by surprise and headed towards the parking lot to see actual proof that if Judy's truck was still here at the park, then so was Judy. "Judy's still here? Nah, can't be! She left earlier." Gideon shook his head in disbelief.
"You know something we don't buster? Spill the beans!" Finnick growled. "Why should I tell you anything? If she ain't here, she ain't here." Gideon replied stubbornly, even if he did knew where Judy was at, he wouldn't show any interest by letting them know about it.
Meanwhile after taking her time and clearing her thoughts at, Judy suddenly remember that she had left her phone behind back at the truck and needed to go back to the parking lot to get it, after realizing that she could've called for help earlier to come and get her. Once there, she hid behind a tree witnessing much to her shock of what look like a fight was about to break loose between the foxes. "Oh no...don't do anything stupid please." She mutter inaudible.
"We ain't leaving this park til you tell us what you know!!" Finnick yelled loudly at Gideon. But the baker fox was already losing his patience. Unable to control his temper, Gideon finally had lost it and kicked Finnick, sending the poor fennec fox to a hard slam against his rental car. "GAAH!" The poor fennec fox yelped in pain.
Judy gasped in horror at she secretly watch the scenery continued. It brought painful memories back in her mind when Gideon went so far as to slashing her across her cheeks, but it was no time to be lost into memoryland when she saw that Gideon was coming in after Nick next, with his claws out and prepare for the attack. "NO! NICK!!" Judy shouted racing in to save the day; the brave heroic bunny leap right in between the two foxes, and took the final blow when Gideon's sharp claws pierced deep down against her very furry cheek. The poor rabbit landed roughly hard down on the ground, gritting her teeth from the stinging pain of her wound.
"JUDY?!?!" Gideon stepped back, shocked that the rabbit just show up outta nowhere in a quick fast paced flash to keep her husband from being harmed.
"Uncle Gideon?" Spoken Billy, followed by his sister Jessica who had overheard the commotion and saw what was happening. "Wh-wh-what's going on?"
"Travis, didn't I tell you to keep a watchful sharp eye on the kids?" Gideon cried out glaring at the ferret, not wanting to let his niece and nephew know about the fight they were having.
"Uh sorry Gideon." Travis apologize nervously. "Come on kids, let's go. You don't need to see this." He gestured and took the two young kits away. Gideon casted one last look towards the rabbit and the two foxes before looking away in bitter anger with his back facing them.
Judy slowly got up to her feet, with her paw resting on her wounded cheek. "Gideon, I..." She began trying to say, but Gideon didn't want to hear another word coming from her. "Don't....just don't okay?" He said, still refusing to look her in the eyes with a bit of hintful disappointment from his tone. "Look, I-I-I got enough problems as it is....family problems; I got an older brother whose in rehab, and a younger sister who keeps on leaving me in charge to take care of her kids while she's off chasing after her stupid beau who keeps running away from her and their children cause the idiot is too cowardly to take full charge of responsibility!"
"Gideon...I'm really sorry to hear what's been going on with your siblings, but--" Judy try again to speak up, but Gideon continued on cutting her off before she can even complete a full on sentence.
"But nothin'!" Gideon finally turning around to face her at last. "I meant what I said when I had apologized for my behavior back from our youthful days when we were youngsters, and I thought I could change my life for the better if we spend our lifetime together as mates, but now I see that someone has taken that spot...." He also added before giving a mean looking glare towards Nick.
"Gideon, it doesn't have to be this way. Can't we all just get along? Please?" Judy pleaded a little bit. Gideon had to think it out carefully after glaring from Nick to giving Judy a bit of a glance. "Pfft! Once a loser, always a loser. You really should've thought about adoption Judy; you could've spare yourself the trouble, but instead you guys made an abomination that should never existed. You're both a disgrace, it makes me sick!" He spoken directly towards the couple very coldly and left so he can return back to the party.
Judy was crushed to hear those cold bitter words coming from Gideon, that she couldn't even bother looking at the others so she turn her back away from Finnick, Renton and Nick so they wouldn't have to see her cry although the sniffling quite gave it away. What Gideon Grey had said was the most cruelest thing she had ever heard, and for being reminded about that for the second time hurt her even more.

It was a relief that after a long search, Renton and the gang were finally glad to see Judy in the flesh, though he didn't expect things to get violent when Gideon resorted to physically injuring both her and Finnick. What also made his heart sink was hearing the chubby fox speak so cruelly to the sensitive rabbit, who only wanted to set things right between themselves; unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen.
Slowly approaching her after Gideon walked off, Renton knelt down and examined the injury on her cheek. In an assuring tone, he said, "You'll be okay, it's just a scratch; you'll be fine." Then he gave her a comforting hug and added, "I'm just glad you're safe. We were all so worried when we couldn't get a hold of you." Looking at her in wonder, he asked, "What were you doing out here, anyway? You never even said anything before you left."

"Yeah that's right, you better leave you wuss!" Finnick called out loudly to the fatty fox who had just recently left, but ended up coughing for a moment just from getting the wind knock out from him.
After accepting Renton's comforting hug, Judy was no longer silent. "Are you alright?" She asks the fennec fox, seeing how he was clutching onto his stomach. "I'll live." He told her, but just like Renton and Nick, Finnick too also wanted to know why Judy left them without telling them why.
At first, Judy had no answer, til she saw how angry Nick was, awaiting for the same thing too from her as well. "I uhh...." She looked away from him, thinking what better way how to explain this whole situation to the three of them, but nearly got nothing. But no matter how would they react, Judy knew she would be taking downright falling of the blame for it. "I-I thought about what Renton said earlier about trying to sort things out by reasoning with Gideon..."
"Oh so it's the buck's fault then!?" Finnick says, now turning his glares over to the tall one of their group. "Hey! Don't blame the deer. It's not his fault he was just trying to help. I thought I could handle it on my own!" "Oh yeah? And how did that go?" Finnick sarcastically responded by rolling his eyes at her.
"Not well....as you can see, I got into a bit of a disagreement with Gideon. And I even went out of my way to ask him if he's spotted Dallas and Terry passing by around here, and...." Judy explained, but couldn't help the rest of the words to complete it all. "He dissed your boy like the rest of everyone else in Zootopia has?" Finnick had guessed and he had guessed correctly when Judy nodded as her way of saying yes to the fennec fox.
"Can't lie about being shocked Judes, but if Terry were my kid, I'd show them a thing or two for talking smack about him!" Finnick growled a little bit, rolling up his sleeves up a bit with his left opened paw pounding his right fist so that he means it.
"Thank you Finnick, but it's not that necessary. Nobody needs to beat up anyone for anything." Judy appreciated that Finnick will by all rights would stand up for her son, but hearing those hurtful words from Gideon still left her feeling down a lot.
"Alright next question; why the hell didn't you come back after that ended badly?!" Finnick asks the next and most important question of them all about it.
"Oh umm about that, see uhhh...I...got kinda stuck here at the park because I....ran outta gas?" Judy chuckled nervously. "THAT'S IT!?!? AND YOU DIDN'T CALL US!?!?" Finnick cried, not being able to tell if the bunny was really being serious about it or just plain stupid.
"Err....heheheh, did I mention I also forgot about my phone? I uhh....realize I left it back in the truck after going for a walk here around the park to clear my mind out." Judy also revealed more about the story behind it. "But I was going to call you guys up to come help me, I swear!" She added.
And with that, Finnick reacted with nothing but a simple facepalm reaction. "Wow....you really are one dumb bunny!" He said, shaking his head disapproval and rolling his eyes at her.
"I may be a dumb bunny, but I am HIS dumb bunny." Judy says, referring to of course, but her husband Nick by gesturing a pointed finger at the fox as a way of saying that she is the only dumb bunny in Nick's life. "That's right, you heard me Nick." She began by turning her glance towards the fox. "Sure I've done stupid things, but what wife hasn't? I mean, nobody is perfect." She shrugged her shoulders, but knew this was no laughing matter as she quickly became serious by starting off with an apology. "But I know what I did was wrong, and for that I apologize Nick. I never should've gotten you all work up worried like this." She continued, but this time by walking over towards him. "I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. And just so you know, I would never leave you Nick, not ever. Not even for Gideon Grey because you aren't just any dumb old sly fox Nick, you're MY dumb sly fox."
And just like that, to show that her love for Nick was still proven to be still strong, Judy leap right at Nick with her arms thrown around his neck and pressing her lips against Nick's in sealed of a kiss. "I love you Nicholas Wilde and I still do; I'll always love you because you're my everything!" She tells her fox husband sweetly by giving him a bit of a nuzzle to show her dear loving affection she still carries for him.
"So what do you say Nick? Forgive and forget? I promise to never come in contact with Gideon ever again, you have my word." Judy swore on her promise, seeing how it will probably be the last time she would ever see the pie-baking fox ever again. "Oh and by the way, we never tell my parents about this, not a solid word!" She also added as a reminder to the guys that they never let Stu and Bonnie know a single thing about it, since it was just best for them to leave it at that without letting Stu and Bonnie know the real reason why Gideon Grey quit on them at all in the first place.

A sting of guilt struck Renton's heart when Finnick placed fault on him for making Judy do what she did in the first place, and he was about to argue back with the fennec fox until Judy claimed it wasn't his fault, and that seemed to set things right for everyone. When she made promise to everyone that they not tell her folks about this, he knew she was sincere about it. There was a possibility Bonnie and Stu would find out about this sooner or later, but he couldn't back down on her promise. Nodding once in acknowledgment, he said, "You have my word, Judy."
To recap about the current situation, he said, "Okay, so Judy's truck is out of gas. That's okay, I can call AAA." Whipping out his wallet to get his membership card, he also pulled out his cell phone to dial the number on the back of the card and hope that a representative would answer quickly.
He soon got an automated message that said, "All of our representatives are currently busy. Please hold until the next representative can assist you. Your current wait time is...20 minutes."
Grunting to himself in frustration, he hung up. "Ugh, we can't wait that long. Looks like we'll have to get gas ourselves. We can just use the rental car and figure everything else out from there."
