"It gets pretty cold there but it's survivable." Nick reassured him.

Terry became busy being taught to do his fighting skills with a bit of kickboxing he was learning from Bobbie, but then quickly became distracted once he saw Mitchell deliver quite a good beating match to the Dallas once the boar was defeated by the cat. It did left quite a good impression on the hybrid. "Whoa...he's pretty good." Terry mutter to himself.
Jonathan became the one to command Mitchell to stop once the boar was down. "Pathetic! You call yourself a fighter pig boy? That was the worst match I've ever seen before in my life." The older one-eyed fox scolded the boar after he was beaten.
"I almost had that stupid cat if it weren't for him scratching me on my legs." Dallas yelled after sitting up straight, checking to see how his legs were, only to see a couple of scratches he had gotten no thanks to the cat who beaten him fair and square.
"Quit complaining and man up! You earn those cuts for a reason." Jonathan remarked at the young teenage boar. "EARN THEM!??! I'm the one who delivers the beatings to the lame losers, not receive them!" Dallas yelled angrily at the old fox as soon as he got up. "I demand a rematch. Bring the stupid hairball back in!!" He ordered.
"Why? So can you can get defeated again?" Jonathan shook his head. "Too bad, so sad! Sorry boy, but sometimes talking tough words isn't the same as literally taking action."
"Oh yeah? Well I can take you on right now, either with my hands behind my back or without having my shirt on. Your choice!" Dallas dared by challenging Jonathan to a match with him.
"Gross!" Jonathan muttered. He could easily tell right away after the first match he had witness, Dallas' fights weren't anything like the training fights he had seen so far, but he wasn't going to turn down any challenge anytime soon. "I'm not fighting you shirtless, but if you wanna face defeat again, so be it." The fox shrugged and headed on down into the changing room to put on some more proper clothes. He return back wearing a more comfortable black uniform with short sleeves and matching pants, and to go along with it was some white fingerless fighting gloves.
But before they could even begin, Jonathan snapped his fingers as a commanding signal for Robbie to bring him a wooden pole for the fox to use against the boar. The boar had expected to go on a fighting training practice with a couple of wooden sticks, but was disappointed to see that he wasn't getting one like Jonathan had already in his own hands. "What? No fighting stick for me? Isn't this a little unfair?" He asks the fox while Jonathan begin to slowly circle around the boar with his wooden stick behind his back.
"First thing's first; what's the secret to winning?" Jonathan began by testing Dallas with a simple question before he could make the first move.
"Pfft, that's so easy. Crushing your opponent straight away! No questions asked." Dallas grinned with his left fist down onto his opened right palm.
"Nope!" Jonathan responded and right away in a quick swift, without warning, he used the wooden stick to take a swing at the back of Dallas' legs, knocking the boar down flat on his back onto the ground. He spin the wooden stick in his hands in front of him and behind him just for showing off, until he pressed the stick down onto the ground, giving the weight that he needed to make a flip in mid air and then landed onto the boar's stomach. "The secret to winning is catching the enemy off guard. It always does the trick!" He replies to the boar with a bit of a smirking grinned.
Dallas glared for being humiliated not once, but twice and he was not going to let some senior beat him now. "ARGH! I'LL SHOW YOU OLD MAN!" He shouted by grabbing Jonathan's stick by pulling it away from him and throwing him off from it. Even without the stick in his hands, Jonathan was quite confident to beating the boar. After a few dodges and blocks from the boar's hits, the fox made the next move with just a strong swinging kick to the boar's face.
"Face it stinky, I've been going at this since before you can even learn how to walk and talk!" Jonathan declared after defeating the boar. He picked up fallen stick from the floor and toss it over to Robbie for him to catch. "We're done here." He told the boar, meaning that he was finished in fighting with boar as he headed on back into the changing room to get back into his regular clothes.
Terry had already been back to focusing on his work to more kickboxing moves with Bobbie earlier, but not anymore once he had taken notice of Jonathan beating the boar's sorry butt. "Heh!"
But Bobbie became annoyed that Terry wasn't following his orders by doing the work he was supposed to be doing. "HEY! Stop watching and start learning. What do you even think you're doing bunny?"
"Me?! Ohh I thought I--" Terry stuttered a little bit, for he didn't mean to become so easily distracted, but enough was enough so Bobbie taught him a lesson by delivering punch to the bunny's face with his boxing gloves on. "OOF!" Terry grunted after having a bad rough landing down on the floor.
"In this training room, we don't get distracted. We fight!" He yelled, and then gave Terry another punch towards the face while the hybrid was trying to get up. "Now get up and if I find you distracted one more time, I'll--well you know what will happened next. You're weak! You're never going to be the next fighter if you keep letting these distractions get to you! What are you? A chump?"
The more Bobbie began on scolding, the more angry Terry was feeling both on the inside and out. He knew he had to keep himself under control and not let the worst of him get to him, but soon it started becoming too much for it. The stress, the scolding, all of it. The polar bear stop once he saw the look of hatred in the hybrid's eyes, followed by a growl turning into an angry snarling. "Uh-oh!" Doom came upon on him once Terry start to attack him by leaping onto him and biting down on his right ear.
"BOBBIE!!" Robbie cried, and rush right towards his brother's aid to try and help him, but it wasn't helping due to Bobbie running around panicking and begging for help for something or anybody to get him off him. Jonathan returned back from the changing room, only to his horror to see one of his henchmen being under attack by the hybrid. So the fox dashed straight into the rescue by getting onto Robbie's back to reach for a more fuller and better height, climbing all the way up and on top of the polar bear's head, making a jump for it and knock Terry away from Bobbie's ear.
The two of them crash down onto the ground, Terry was back to his old self after that, but not before long did the furious and angry fox lung towards him as he try to make a run for it, and Terry got pinned against the wall. "Don't you EVER bite my henchmen ever again, you got that?" He warned the hybrid, staring at him straight into the eyes until his old nose pick up the hybrid's scent again with a sniff. "That smell....arugh! What is that!?!?!?" He cried, backing away from the hybrid. He still felt annoyed that he couldn't be able to figure why Terry's scent smell so off to him.
But Terry was too startled to even speak a word to him. Though he did claim before that he wasn't afraid of Jonathan, he actually did felt guilt ridden for what he had done by going outta control and attacking the polar bear like that. "I....I'm sorry. It's just, Bobbie made me so mad, I'd--" He try his best to give in by apologizing, but Jonathan silence him with his paw up just to make him stop talking. "We're done for the day. Training time is over." The fox had spoken, without even facing the others.
After that was long done and about, Terry decided to go and search for Mitchell. He still couldn't get over the fact about witnessing those scars on the poor cat's paws, but rather than getting some info about them since he knew it would just make the cat even more pissed off, the hybrid thought about doing something nice for him to help the cat feel at least a bit better. He was able to finally find the cat at last. "Hey!!" He called out for him, then begin on running on all fours so he could easily catch up to the cat. While running came naturally easy for the hybrid, his skills on trying to stop after making a hop were always more of a poor result.
So after catching up with the brown feline, Terry try to make a small but very quick hop for it while trying making a turning move going about at the same time, but didn't exactly quite time the skidding halt when he tried. "AAH!" He yelped after he slipped and fell down. "Heh-heh, sorry...I'm still trying to work on my hopping and landing skills. I'm not the very best at it when it comes to timing it." He says with a sheepish grin, but that grin of his faded off as he clear his throat up to change the subject.
"Hey Mitch, can I called you Mitch? Listen, I umm...I just wanted to say to you, good job back there, taking on Dallas on your own like that." Terry complimented Mitchell nicely. "I've never seen a small animal take down a bigger animal like that before, that took guts! I gotta hand it to you, he didn't have that one coming, but I know he deserve it because he acts like a real jerk too much!" He added before taking notice of those scarred up paws of Mitchell. "So uhh, what happened with your gloves? Did you lose them? Cause if you like, I'd be more than happy to help you find those." He offered.

Mitchell felt tempted to take Dallas offer on for a rematch but stood aside to let Jonathan deal with the stubborn boar. Rather than stick around, Mitchell took the opportunity to sneak off unnoticed.
He stared down at his paws. They felt strangely naked without the gloves he had previously worn. A soft sad smile appeared on his face as he remembered the day he got them.
He slept soundly on the bottom bunk of his room with Ben only to be woken at feeling of someone lightly tapping his shoulder. He groaned loudly before opening his eyes. He didn't have to bother asking who it was, there was only one person he knew had that gentle touch.
"Ben, it's early. Go back to sleep. If those moron twins find out we're awake, they'll put us to work.." He spoke as a yawn escaped from him.
"I know but I wanted to give you this." He spoke putting a small box in his lap. Mitchell looked down at it somewhat dumbfounded.
"Well go on, open it." Ben encouraged him obviously eager for him to do so.
"What is it?" Mitchell asked him skeptical.
"Open it and find out." Ben replied with a small smile.
Deciding to humor the younger cat, Mitchell opened the box to find a pair of green knitted fingerless gloves inside the box.
"Merry Christmas Mitchell!" Ben purred. "Do you like them? I made them myself. I thought it would make you feel better about your paws.." He added. He always felt guilty that is was because of him that Mitchell had gotten the injury due to breaking rules of their training and helping Ben who refused to fight Robbie.
Mitchell couldnt help but purr a tiny bit barely audible as he tried on the gloves that seemed to fit him perfectly.
Seeming satisfied that Mitchell liked the gift Ben smiled and turned to go back to his bed on the top bunk.
"Wait a second. I have something for you too." Mitchell told him. In truth he really didn't but he felt bad Ben had given him a thoughtful gift and thought the cat deserved something in return.
Ben stopped seeming surprised and turned back to face him.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Close your eyes and hold out your hands." Mitchell instructed him.
Not needing to be told twice, Ben nodded and did as he asked.
Mitchell waved his paw in front to Ben's face to make sure he couldn't see him before digging out the black scarf from a box underneath his bed. It was his, the last thing he owned from his life before he had been brought to join Jonathan's gang and thought Ben might like it.
He put the scarf in his hands and replied, "Okay. Open them."
Ben looked down and smiled surprising Mitchell with a hug after putting on the scarf. "Hey. None of that sentimental stuff, got it?" Mitchell scolded him pushing Ben away who in return gave him a smirk knowing that was just Mitchell's way of showing he cared.
The smile immediately changed to a frown. A growl rose from his throat as Lauren's words echoed in his mind. 'He did you a favor you know. Ben was making you soft.'
He lashed out at the nearest thing which happened to be a mirror knocking it over letting it smash on the ground before he continued on walking.
He didn't slow his pace when Terry hurried over to catch up to him nor look at him as he shrugged. "It's survival. Kill or be killed." He told him. "Larger animals always think they are superior that's why element of surprise and using their size against them is a necessity. Dallas got the beating that knock him down a few pegs in the food chain here."
He was caught slightly off guard by Terry's question next as he stopped in midstep and looked up to face the hybrid. For a moment he saw Terry as Ben and shook his head to snap the image away from his mind. "I threw them away." He lied doing well to hide the pain in his voice before quickening up his pace leaving Terry to catch up.

After a long train trip back to Zootopia, Renton felt good to return home, yet he and his companions weren't done with their case just yet. They needed to take a trip into Tundra Town to pay a certain mafia boss a visit.
Not long after being dropped off at the front gate of Mr. Big's mansion from a taxi cab, the young buck marveled at the grandiose splendor of the mansion itself and the main courtyard. "Whoa. This guy's loaded," he muttered to himself. Following close behind Judy and Nick, he anxiously awaited to see what Mr. Big looked like and hoped the mafia boss would be of grateful service in helping them find the missing hybrid.

"I just hope we haven't caught Mr. Big at a bad time." Judy said to Nick and Renton as they awaited inside of the shrew's mansion. They waited patiently, along with the polar bear bodyguards from each side of the room. Until one polar show up and presented the elderly old shrew at the table, and turning his seat around to face his arriving guests.
They show their respect to the shrew by giving them their most proper greeting to them, but before any one of them could say another word, Mr. Big's daughter Fru Fru show up. "Daddy!" She called out to her father once she had approach him. "Have you seen the--" But stop once she saw two familiar faces. "Oh, hi!" She greeted Nick and Judy, waving at them.
"Hi Fru Fru. I love what you've done with your hair." Judy complimented the female shrew's latest hairstyle. "Aww thank you!" Fru Fru says smiling. "Ehh what can I do for you today?" Mr. Big finally asks, awaiting for a response.

When each of Mr. Big's polar bear bodyguards entered the room, Renton half expected one of them to be Mr. Big, yet he decided not to say anything if the reveal were to be anything unexpected. And indeed, as soon as the real Mr. Big was revealed, he wasn't as surprised as he thought he would be. After all, a name like Mr. Big didn't necessarily equate to the large size of any animal. Even for being an arctic shrew, Renton knew he had to keep his respect to the notorious crime boss the entire time he was there.
After Mr. Big asked his question, the meek young buck gulped and stepped forward to say, "Mr. Big, it is an absolute honor to meet you. M-My name is Renton Whitetail, and I'm a good friend of Nick and Judy here. We've...come to ask you for something. You see, their son Terry has gone missing as well as his friend Dallas. We've been on the case to find them for quite some time, and we were wondering if maybe you could offer some information that may provide us some kind of lead. If it's not too much trouble, of course."

Nick gave a small little wave to Fru Fru in order to be polite and show respect to not only Mr. Big but his daughter as well. When Renton explained why they were there, Nick added, "We apologize for inconveniencing you, as Im sure you're very busy, but you were great help to Judy and I on our first case and we were hoping you would be again." ===========================================================================================================================================================
Mitchell didn't bother to see if Terry had followed him or not as he made his way back to their shared room. He paused for a moment as he passed Jonathan's office which at the moment was currently empty.
He tiptoed in softly shutting the door behind him so not to be overheard. Curious slightly he sat down in the fox's chair at his desk only to find himself too small to see over the top of it and stood up on his hind legs to see over the desk. He didn't understand why he felt so drawn to coming in nor why he decided to snoop through the old fox's belongings.
He pulled open the bottom drawer finding a very old photo of a vixen, a younger Jonathan, and fox kit. He stared at the picture for a moment before placing it aside and digging further into the drawer. He wasn't surprised to find a folder containing all his associates. He flipped through the file before finding his own finding two pictures. One of him as a young tom kitten and a more recent one of him at his current age. He began to put all the stuff back the way he found it when a picture of Ben fell out of the file.
Immediately he picked it up but rather than placing it back in the file, he slipped into one of the pockets of his jacket to keep before jumping out of the chair accidently knocking the guitar that lay against the wall over with a loud thud.
He made a quick glance at the door hoping no one heard the commotion before tiptoeing over to the guitar sitting it back up into it's original spot, his paws accidently strumming along it's strings. He purred a little recognizing the melody.
He didnt have time to reminise however as he heard voices coming down the hall towards the room. He quickly hid under the desk holding his breath waiting to be caught. He recognized one voice as Lauren but the other he didn't recognize at all though it sounded female as well.
He backed up against the bottom of the desk as far as he could to avoid being caught, this time grateful Terry hadn't followed him after all, as he would've more likely gotten caught with the fox hybrid with him.
"Be patient. That old fox is growing soft. He doesn't have the stomach to kill as he once did and his men know it." The new female voice spoke as the door opened. He stared surprised seeing the voice belonged to a female hyena. "So why not move now then?" He could hear Lauren ask.
"It's not time yet. We don't make a move until the full moon." The female hyena responded as she looked around the room.
"I don't see why we should wait until then.." Lauren hissed.
"Of course you don't but it does not concern you. Your job is to make sure that stupid fox is kept busy until then. I will handle the rest." She replied before turning to leave. "And do remember, not to draw suspicion to yourself until then." She added with a growl obviously meaning it to be a threat before leaving cracking the door behind her.
Mitchell waited a few moments to make sure it was quiet and the coast was clear before crawling out from his hiding spot. No one in the room he could see so he made his way towards the door.
He made his way halfway out the door before feeling teeth sink in to his tail. He fought the urge to cry out in pain before being yanked back into the room with the door shutting behind him.
The pain in his tail ceased when he felt his back collide with guitar he had set against the wall causing it to smash in half from the collision. "Mitchell, Mitchell, haven't you ever heard the saying, curiosity killed the cat?" He heard Lauren hiss at him.
He growled. "Maybe I don't believe sayings started by dogs." he hissed back at her.
"You know Mitchell, Jonathan doesn't approve of anyone in here touching his things. I wonder how much he would favor you if he found you in here with a destroyed office. What will he do when he sees that broken guitar? Or broken family photo?" She quipped taking the photo out of the desk tossing it over at Mitchell who immediately ducked to avoid the blow. "Oh no doubt he would be furious but not as furious as when he sees his destroyed chair." She added with a smirk.
It wasn't hard for Mitchell to guess where this was going, he made a quick beeline for the door but not quick enough to avoid Lauren's coils as she tightly grabbed him across the waist throwing him full force into the chair knocking it over and breaking the top half of it.
Mitchell let out a soft moan as he forced himself back up to his feet. He couldn't stop himself from letting out a yowl of agony however as he was bit down on his left hind left foot and slammed him three times into Jonathan's desk breaking it. "Say one word, Mitchell, and I'll make your life a living hell." She hissed before leaving Mitchell to be caught crawling out of the broken desk debris not at all surprised to see Jonathan and the others had come to see what was the commotion.

"Threw them away? But--" Terry had no chance of finishing off his comment once Mitchell had storm off. "Mitch wait!!" He called out for him, but he didn't go after him seeing how the way he thought about what the cat said about his missing gloves. "Well that doesn't make sense. Why would he throw them away for?" He had a hard time believing that could of been the real case behind that. But he wasn't able to continue to go after the stubborn cat once Dallas had shown up, walking slowly up behind him due to his injury on his legs, and at around the same time, Darryl was shown up too carrying a tray full of delicious smoothies.
"Whose thirsty? I thought I might--" The boar comment with a bright smile on his face. He was going to deliver the smoothies until he gasped in horror from his son's painful injury and dropped the tray in shock, spilling all of the yummy smoothies in creating a mess on the floor. "DALLAS! Are you okay? What happened?" He asks worriedly, rushing over to his son.
"Does it look like I'm okay!!?" Dallas yelled at his father. "Your stupid boss put us into stupid training and that stupid cat of his claw me up. Not that you would care."
"But--" Darryl try to look for another way to talk to him, but his son was just too hard-headed to listen. "I'm outta here. Leave me alone." Dallas remarked, giving his dad a glare before continuing on the way, ignoring the fact that Terry was right there listening into that short dramatic conversation between the two boars.
Darryl just so barely happened to notice Terry was there once his son was out of sight, but didn't say anything as he picked up the spilled up drinks back onto his tray. "I'm sorry you had to see that." He finally had spoken up.
"Has Dallas always been like this? Even at home?" Terry questioned the concerned boar. Darryl sighed with sadness. "It hasn't been easy for the both of us since his mother died 8 years ago. I've been struggling to find myself a job until I started working here 4 years ago." He admitted.
"But that doesn't make any sense. Dallas thought you were kidnapped. If you had been working here this whole time, why didn't you try to leave and go home after you were done with your work hours?" Terry asks, trying to see if any of the boar's tale made any sense to him.
"Well I've tried, dozen of times; but the problem is, once you start working here, there's no leaving this place." Darryl confessed shamefully. "They keep you here hostage. And--" Darryl was about to go and continued, but then came to a stop, frighten by surprise once Jonathan had shown up.
"Darryl, you mind explaining to me what the hell is this mess right here?" Jonathan began angrily by pointing a finger at the dirty floor with puddles of sticky smoothie liquid.
"I'm sorry Mister J sir, I'll get the mop and clean it up right away!!" Darryl stutter and hurried on off. After the boar was gone in a rush to get the cleaning tools he needed to clean up the filthy mess, Terry was not sure whether if he should just leave the old fox alone or not, but still kept cautious of the old fox once his glance was facing towards him.
"As for you long ears." Jonathan began as he headed towards him, walking slowly towards him until Terry's back was pressed up against the wall. "Tell me, are you sure you're really a bunny?"
"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" Terry asks, not letting the fear being shown in front of the old fox. "Because your scent tells me otherwise. If you were really a bunny, my sense of smell would've known that by now. Who are you? What are you exactly? Other than the part I know about you having an incredible gifted beautiful singing voice." Jonathan comment as he back away from the hybrid a little bit before realizing that the last second he may of accidentally compliment the hybrid's talented musical singing skills, now wishing he could've taken back those last words.
"Umm thanks I guess." Terry shrugged on the bit about his compliment. He then was caught off guard by surprise when his ears perked up at the sounding noises of crashing coming from Jonathan's office. The two of them decided to go and investigate, approaching Darryl along the way carrying a mop and bucket, but he also joined along as well seeing how Darryl will have to be the one to clean up whatever mess that was cause.
Once the three of them had reach the office, Jonathan's right eye widen in horror and his jaw dropped in shock from the sight of the chaos mess, with only Mitchell there as the only suspect. "MY CHAIR, MY DESK! MY--" He cried out, spotting everywhere that was broken; but the worst part of them was finding his two most personal items; his guitar and family photo, both destroy and broken in half. Jonathan rushed right in, shoving Mitchell away from his broken items as he pick up his old family picture, now tore in half right in the middle. "My...my family photo...." He drop it and next came upon towards his broken guitar. Besides the old picture of his family that was very personal to him, the guitar he had kept in his office was also very personal to him given the fact that it was a gift he had receive from his grandmother growing up, but nobody else ever knew about those things.
"Grandmama's guitar..." He whisper softly as he held the broken guitar dear to his heart, crushed by the very last item that was a very dear memory of him that would ever reminded him of his grandma. He dropped the broken instrument once all of those heartbroken feelings of crushed sadness changed from ragefull anger of hate. "YOU DIRTY HAIRBALL!!" He began by screaming at Mitchell. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME? THESE WERE VERY PERSONAL ITEMS OF MINE. MY GRANDMOTHER GAVE ME THAT GUITAR! AND YOU HAVE DESTROY WHAT WAS LEFT OF THE MEMORIES I HAD OF MY FAMILY!" He charged after Mitchell by pouncing onto the cat, pinning him down on the floor snarling viciously at him.
His raised his right arm up ready to strike down onto the cat with his claws once and for all, but Terry took action by charging after the old fox and knocked him down by head-butting him. "Leave him be. I'm sure this wasn't his fault!" Terry told him, standing in front of Mitchell to protect him away from Jonathan. "You couldn't possibly believe a single cat would be able to trashed an entire office all on his own now would you?"
"If you don't get out of my way bunny, I'll kill both of you!" Jonathan growled, not afraid of taking down Terry if it meant at all cost killing him just to get to reach Mitchell. But before he had a chance of making his move, Terry let his claws out from his paws and try to lash out at the fox, but he missed once Jonathan saw those and back away from the hybrid. "I won't let you hurt the cat, now while I'm still standing here!" Terry threatened if the old fox should dare try to do anything to harm the cat.
Watching the way Terry was defending Mitchell away from him was a very major shock; lots of times, everyone else just stood by and watch or weren't around at all to see Jonathan taking out his anger on those that had driven him mad, but this was the first time in a long time, he had seen anyone cared enough for Mitchell other than Ben. And that was just the very thought about it; no matter how upset he would be, it wouldn't be enough to bring Ben back from the dead, not by a long shot. So Jonathan gave up by dropping down to his knees, and his head hanging down in defeat. "Leave...there's the door." He said, pointing a finger out the door. "Go now before I change my mind! But don't come back into my office ever again unless you have an escort, you got that?" He added, warning them very seriously.
The two boys clearly got the message and left right away. "You alright Mitch?" Terry asks Mitchell after they were finally outta the office and far away from it.
"Looks like I'm gonna need more than a mop and bucket to clean up this mess." Darryl said, wondering how long it would take to get rid of everything that was ruined. "Would you mind if I--" He was about to ask, but had notice Jonathan was sitting all alone at the very corner of the wall with his back facing the boar while Jonathan was lost in thought, staring down sadly at his two most treasure memories. "Sir?" Darryl awaited, but gotten no answer. The fox wasn't listening at all while the boar try his best getting his attention, instead Jonathan felt himself lost within of his unforgettable memories as he silently wept in tears.
Young teenage Jonathan sat alone inside of his bedroom, staring at the beautiful sight of the world outside through his window. He had just recently return back home early after his grandmother pulled him outta school when she heard about her grandson getting beaten and bullied by Zoey, the same okapi who he had encounter just a few years back ago when they were little. "Knock knock, may I come in?" His grandmother asks kindly, tapping lightly on the door. Jonathan didn't reply, so she opened the door slightly. She felt really bad to see her grandson so down, but still enter inside of his room and took a seat by his bed, bringing with her a special something to give to him in order to cheer him up.
Wondering what she wanted, Jonathan turn his eyes away from the view, only to his surprise to see a wrapped up present. "What's that?" He asks as he came to walk up to join her, sitting down next to her.
"I know it's a bit early for this, but I thought this would help brighten up your day better." His grandmother answered with a small smile as she presented to him his gift. After accepting the lovely gift, Jonathan unwrapped it only to find a very beautiful guitar.
"Is this---" Jonathan was completely speechless, for this was exactly the same guitar that his grandma had owned for a very long time. "It sure is. Happy Birthday my precious sweet Jonny." His grandma says, surprising him with a sweet hug as well.
"But...this is yours. I can't take it." Says Jonathan in disbelief. He appreciated it, but he was not sure if he could really accept his grandmother's guitar as his own. His grandma smiled sweetly at him and placed her paw on her grandson's shoulder. "I want you to have it. It is yours to keep forever." She replied. "Always remember this; You are a Wilde, never forget who you are." She added, by moving her paw away from his shoulder and showing him her fox head shaped birthmark on the palm of her paw.
Looking at her own birthmark reminded him of the very birthmark he had from his own shoulder, expect his was shaped as a full body fox. He tugged down on his shirt a little to get a better view of his birthmark from his shoulder to understand more better of himself. "Us Wildes need to stick together right?" He asks once he look up meeting her kindhearted gaze.
"That's right!" His grandmother nodded. "As long as you have love in your heart, you will always have true happiness. Never forget that..."
It had been far too long since the last time Jonathan had ever thought about his grandmother, and just when he thought he had followed her advice, he felt like he had completely failed at the final end; a failure both as a grandson, a husband and a father.

Mitchell didn't flinch as he felt himself thrusted down on his back from the forceful pin down on the ground. Nor did he flinch when Jonathan growled at him and prepared to strike him.
"Go ahead. Do it. I wouldn't be the first cat you killed." He hissed knowing full well Jonathan would know he meant Ben. He was surprised however when Terry came to his defense. He followed Terry out of the room limping.
"I'm fine." He replied harshly defending himself so not to appear weak but stopped and sighed once they were out of earshot of Jonathan's office. "Look uh-what you did back there-thanks." He commented not used to thanking anyone.
He didn't mention what happened to put the office in that state in the first place of course. "You didn't have to do that, you know..."

Nick added, "We apologize for inconveniencing you, as Im sure you're very busy, but you were great help to Judy and I on our first case and we were hoping you would be again." Renton nodded. "That's right. It can be any kind of information that might connect to either Terry or Dallas, like...Dallas' mother or father, for example."

"I know...I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. Why? Because if there's one thing I learn, is that lives do matter. It's just the way I was raised. In fact, you'd be surprised what my parents do for a living. Everyday, they're out there to serve and protect, help those in need. So I guess it just comes naturally to me." Terry says with a small shrugged. Despite the fact that the two boys have had a rough start from the very beginning, Terry wasn't going to stand by and watch Mitchell be killed by the paws of an insane, crazy one-eyed fox, although the hybrid was slightly curious to what the cat meant when he had pointed out to the fox that he wouldn't be the first cat he had killed, but Terry wasn't going to ask. Even if he wanted to, there's no chance that Mitchell would let him know about it.
"Besides, I don't really believe you could've damage his entire office all on your own. The way it look seem like it was cause by a more larger predator to me." Terry added, and for that he believe that fact too, especially if it was down by a more smaller animal, it would've taken a entire group of them just to destroy all of the stuff that belong to Jonathan. Taking full notice of the cat limping, Terry decided to give Mitchell a helping paw. "Here, let me help you." He offered by picking the cat up and carrying him back into their room, so that Mitchell wouldn't have to walk all the way back slowly on that limp. Once they were back to their shared room, Terry gently set the cat back down onto his bed.
"There you go. I'd offer you the top bunk if I could, but I doubt you could make it up and down with that limp coming from your foot." Terry said. And so, he decided to take a closer look at the cat's injured foot. "Hmm weird, I've never seen a bitemark like this before." He commented. Growing up in Zootopia, the only prey and predator animals that were around in the city were only mammals, but no reptiles so the bitemark of a snake was very unfamiliar to the hybrid. Supposedly he knew he could most likely go and get Dallas' father Darryl to come and properly take care of Mitchell's injury, and yet some part of him was still curious of what could've cause all of the commotion going on inside Jonathan's office at all to begin with.
"This is probably none of my business, but what were you doing inside of Jonathan's office anyway in the first place? Why were you in there?" Terry asks Mitchell, switching the old subject back on track. "Did you see something in there you weren't supposed to see?" He added by asking another question.

Mitchell clenched his jaw shut to keep from yowling out in pain as Terry picked him up and carried him, not because the hybrid was intentionally causing him pain but because he was in a mass amount of pain from his skirmish with Lauren earlier.
"Im stronger than I look." He lied when Terry pointed out that he didn't believe Mitchell had caused all the damage on his own. Of course Terry was right. He didn't cause much of it at all but he wasn't going to tell the hybrid that. He wasn't afraid of Lauren but he knew better than to test to her to make good on her threats and despite their rough start he didn't think Terry deserved such a horrible fate. He also didn't want to appear weak either. Weakness was death to him after all.
"Curiousity killed the cat." He replied a hint of hatred in his voice as he repeated the words Lauren had said to him while yanking his foot away from Terry examining it. The quick jerking motion making him hiss from the pain and react too many seconds late to Ben's photo falling out of his pocket onto the floor for Terry to see.
He didn't bother snatching it way knowing there would be no point after the hybrid had already seen it, instead his ears lowered and he looked away replying before Terry could ask, "His name was Ben. He was my roomate before you showed up....That scar Jonathan has across his eye came from him before the foxhearted coward shot him dead..." there was hatred in his voice but more than that a slight choke of emotion as the whole thing caused him pain though he did not tear up mentioning it.

Curiously, Terry pick up the fallen photo that fell out from Mitchell's pocket, taking a look at it only to see that it was another cat. "Who is--" He barely ask, but that was cut off shortly the very second when Mitchell had explained to him who the cat in the photo was. "Jonathan killed someone? He really must be a maniac! This fox is a psychopath! Terry couldn't believe it, but he was quite shock indeed. He knew he shouldn't be so surprised given the cold threats he had gotten before from the old fox, but now that he knew that Jonathan murder someone, he didn't knew what else there was to say. Should he had fear him like the rest of his gang members as well? That he was a bit unsure of, but aside from it, Terry did knew that he wanted to confront Jonathan about it to see if it was true or not, but that would have to be saved for some other time.
But even more so, Terry had felt sad for poor Mitchell due to the tone coming from the cat's voice. The fox/bunny hybrid sat down next to the small animal and given him the picture of Ben back to him. "I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your roommate. It's because he's gone, you've changed isn't it? Because he was your friend?" Terry asks the feline sympathetically. "While I can honestly say that I've never had my own best friend in the world before, I do know how it feels pushing yourself away from others." The hybrid added with a sense of disappointment coming from the tone of his voice as he looked away and his ears drooped down sadly. "Because of what I am, I've been bullied and insulted by every other mammal you can think of."
Terry had always hated being judge a lot, and he had knew for the better that he was better off accepting being alone no matter what even though he long for a friend he could hang out with and have somebody to talk to. But he still had not given up trying, because he was still very nice and would hoped for the best he could find someone who could look past his appearance. Now that he knew why Mitchell acted the way that he is, it was very well easy to see that he was trying to hide the pain so he wouldn't appear weak. "They judge me before they can get the chance to know me better. But that doesn't stop me from being kind to others, and wanting to earn the same respect that they have; Treat others the way you want to be treated."
"In fact, there's this saying my dad always says and he taught it to me when I was little; Never let them see that they get to you." Terry said. "So that's what I do, I never let them see that they got to me, but it can be hard to do it when you're born of two mixed different species and one of those instincts starts to kicked in outta nowhere and I'm unable to control it at times." He added while looking down at his own paws from his rabbit disguise before tightening his grip. After being in the disguise for quite some time, he begin getting used to it because it help him fooled Jonathan, as well as the polar bear twins and all the rest of the gang members into having them believe he was just a simple prey and nothing more, although Terry would prefer being a real fox just like his father and grandmother if that kind of wish were possible, but it was not, not for him.
He let loose of his tight grip and let out a sigh before turning over to look at Mitchell and placing his paw on the cat's shoulder. "Thanks for not ratting me out to him Mitch." Terry tells Mitchell with a sweet, kind small smile. He would've thank him sooner since the cat wasn't going to rat him out to the old fox, but it was better late than never. "Anyone here would've done it by now if they already knew about my secret, but not you, so I thank you for that." And to show that he really was thankful for it, Terry surprise Mitchell by giving the cat a grateful hug for it. "You don't need to act like a tough guy while you're around me, and don't worry about it; as long as I'm still here, I won't let that murderer fox harm you."

"No...Ive always been this way. I meant what I said before, being weak means youre as good as dead...Ben learned that the hard way...Ive never forgiven that fox for it and I never will but this is also a place with a warm bed, three square meals a day, and a roof over my head so it's not like I can exactly bite the hand that feeds me so to speak.." He spoke shrugging his shoulders trying to pretend it was nothing to him but talking about Ben did reopen the pain he felt from the loss of his friend and yet in a strange way it helped too. He nodded. "Animals have always been that way, you get used to it though. Ben used to always try to see the good in others too. He used to say 'Some people choose to see the ugliness in this world, the disarray. I choose to see the beauty. To believe there is an order to our days. A purpose.' I never believed it myself. Once you've seen the ugliness, it's hard to see anything else." When Terry thanked him he looked a little surprised before shrugging, "I've never been a rat. That's what those Polar Bears are for." He seemed even more surprised by the hug though he did not pull away for several seconds as it was actually quite comforting to him. For fear they may be watched however he gently pushed the fox away. "Keep all that cuddly kit stuff to a minimum. Don't want that blood thirsty lot to think we're soft." though there was a small smile on his face as he thought to himself, 'Its not Jonathan Im worried about..' wondering if he should tell Terry about Lauren but deciding against it for now. OOC: Don't forget you still need to post for Mr. Big, Nadine
