Neera does this so and 5 minutes later, comes back with the water and wet cloth. She gives it to her parents and turns her back away. She didn't want to see Lem giving birth. It was gross to her.

Neera's mother places the wet cloth on Lem's forehead " Push Lem Push" She tells him.
Lem pushes one last time and the broke Egg that very small comes out and in Mother's hand. She looks down at it and inside yo could see what look like baby not very developed yet.

"H--how is it? Is he done?" Neera asked, staring at the wall in front of her. She wanted to be sure that it was safe and okay to look and see it. Her dad starts cleaning the mess of the blood. "It's fine Neera. You can look now."
Neera turns around and walks up to her mother to see the baby. She look at it in confusion. She knew that it wasn't in good development but she couldn't tell if it was dead or not. Was it? Lem would be very heartbroken if he knew, but he had to be told about it first.

Mother sighs and looks at the small baby in her hand." Lem dear..Im so sorry.." She says carefully hands him his dead baby.
"Oh no.."Lem bites his lips and tears sadly. He looks down at his baby in his hand. He closes his eyes." I failed my own child.."

Neera look at her mother and patted a hand on her shoulder. "Thanks mom...and dad...for helping. I'll take it from here." She says. Her dad nodded. "Come on dear, let's go." He says and walks his wife out of the bedroom.
Neera sat next by Lem's side and look down at the dead baby in his hands. She hugs him dearly for comfort.

"What are you doing to tell Chuck?" Neera asked, thinking if he should find out if Lem tells him too, though there was a higher chance that he wouldn't like it.

Lem wipes his eyes and places the baby in the egg shell." I have to go find him.." He says and carefully gets up. " I have to tell Chuck" He says.

"Wait Lem!" Neera says, getting up and sits Lem down on the bed. "Does Chuck know you were pregnant?" She asked him.

Lem flushes deeply.." No..he didnt know..neither did I.." he tells her. " I was sick month ago... I just though was bad stomach bug"

"You can't tell him Lem...not yet. If he's still mad at you, he can't know about it." Neera says. Chuck was selfish yes, but he can also be short-temper like Neera was.

"NO Lem!" Neera says firmly. "I know how people are when they're still mad. He'll hurt you Lem. Give him time to cool off." She said. She didn't really want Lem to leave or see him get harm if Chuck learn about Lem's shocking news of the sadden birth of their unknown dead baby.

Neera frowns and covers her arms around on Lem for another tear-jerking hug. "I'll go with you, but just for your mom! Let's leave fast and go home after we see her. I don't want Chuck to catch us together." She said.
