A while back Nadine and I decided that we wanted to do a Black Cauldron RP after the dvd came out.
Though technically the dvd and blu-ray does not come out till the 14th I am going to go ahead and make this topic early allowing people to claim their characters now and once the dvd and blu-ray comes out we will start the rp.

Hooray! You remember. I'm still surprised you decided to do it so early. Hmmm....since we got Taran and Gurgi cover, I think I will pick out Princess Eilonwy too and that will be enough for me.

Alright I am going to start this off and if anyone wants to join in even as an OC than they can feel welcome too.

It had been a couple months since the destruction of the Black Cauldron and the Horned King since then Taran, Gurgi, Eilonwy, and Fflewddur had been on the road traveling from place to place.
It was now sunset as the small group stopped to rest for a little while in the woods. Taran stood leaning his back against a tree he wasn't quite sure but something just didn't seem right to him. He didn't voice his concerns to the others so not to worry them or end up wrong and looking like a fool but try as he might he just couldn't shake the feeling that something somewhere was amiss.
Fflweddur sat down on a large boulder rubbing his sore feet before turning to face Taran. The young assistant pig keep warrior had been awfully quiet the last few days not saying much at all during their travels. He stood up ignoring his sore feet for the moment to walk over to Taran placing a gentle hand on his shoulder causing Taran to jump slightly.
"Are you alright lad? You've been awfully quiet the last few days and the slightest sound seems to make you jump out of your skin..." He says his voice filled with concern.
"Yes I'm fine....just..thinking.." Taran replies.
"About?" Fflewddur questioned him further.
"Nothing." Taran replied before looking away.
"Oh come now I don't need my harp strings breaking to know that's a load of malarky." Fflewddur replies not believing Taran for a minute before adding in a whisper so Gurgi and Eilonwy would not overhear "You know it would probably help if you told someone what was troubling you. You can tell me, a Fflam is really good at keeping secrets after all"
Taran hesitated saying nothing for several moments thinking over whether he should tell him or not.

OOC: HOORAY! I was almost afraid that we weren't gonna get this rp moving!
BIC: While Taran and Fflewddur were talking, Eilonwy was sitting by a rock just watching the amazing peace of the lake as the birds scoop by flying together as pairs. It look so romantical to her. "Oh Gurgi! Isn't this beautiful?" She asks, but the little fuzzy creature wasn't sitting with her and there was a moment of silence. "Gurgi?" She look around. Nothing and he was gone. Eilonwy stood up. "Gurgi? Gurgi where are you?"
Unfortunately for the young princess, Gurgi was chasing after a cute little butterfly, but then he lost sight of it. He can see Fflewdduar talking privately alone with Taran. "Aaah! Gurgi want talk talk!" He says with a quiet snickering giggle. Quietly, Gurgi crawls and sneaks into the bushes while waiting for the right time to pounce on one of the guys.

OOC: Yeah me too
BIC: Taran and Fflewddur did not notice a sneaky spying Gurgi hiding in the bushes nearby waiting to pounce them.
"Well?" Fflewddur responded waiting for Taran to speak once more.
Taran sighed. He supposed telling Fflewddur was better than keeping it all inside. He nodded his head thinking over the words to say so they wouldn't come out wrong as he said them. "I guess I just have this really bad feeling that I just can't shake" He finally admitted.
"Bad feeling? What kind of bad feeling?" Fflewddur asked trying not to show that he didn't like the way this conversation was headed.
"Like...like something somewhere is amiss...I'm not sure if it's something bad or even really bad or even what it could be but whatever it is I just can't even shake the feeling of it..." Taran replied doing his best to explain the strange feeling he had had for the last few days but even as he tried he felt like he wasn't doing it any justice.
Fflewddur didn't speak for several moments.
"Fflewddur?" Taran says turning to face the bard wishing he would say something.
"Well I'm sure it's probably nothing just your nerves acting up" He says covering his harp quickly as he did so to keep one of the magical strings from snapping at his lie.
"Nerves?" Taran replied.
"Yes yes nerves. Everyone has nerves nothing at all to worry about they'll soon fade...I'm just going to go check on Eilonwy and Gurgi" Fflewddur spoke quickly before walking out of earshot of Taran as one of his harp's strings snapped.

Gurgi pay no attention to what Taran was talking about with Fflewddur, but when the old man was starting to leave, Gurgi made a quick pounce on him which send the two of them rolling back to Taran and crashing into him, knocking all three of them down from the ground.

Taran let out a yell of surprise as Gurgi suddenly jumped out of the bushes pouncing him down causing him to crash into Fflewddur knocking all the three of them to the ground.
"Great Belin! What happened?" Fflewddur exclaim after he got the wind back in him after Taran suddenly crashed into him.
"Sorry Fflewddur" Taran apologized though chuckling a little bit though he was trying to not show it as Gurgi's silly antic brought a small smile to his face.

"Hahaha, again again! Can Gurgi go again!?" Gurgi asks happily, leaping with excitement, circling around the fallen two humans.

Taran chuckled as he watched Gurgi tugged on Fflewddur's sleeve. "Maybe another time Gurgi, right now we'd better gather some food and provisions before it gets too dark" Taran said as he stood up and brushed the dirt off his clothes.

Gurgi lets go of Fflewddur's sleeve and rushes to Taran's side leaping up for his hand to grab. "Ooh ooh! Gurgi will help master find munchings and crunchings in the forest. Yes yes yes!"

"Alright Gurgi you can help'' Taran replies before turning back to face Fflewddur. "We won't be long" He told him.
"Ah yes and don't worry I'll stay here with Eilonwy" Fflewddur replies.
Taran nodded before turning back to Gurgi. "Okay Gurgi let's go" He says.

"YAY! Haha" Gurgi laughs happily and sticks with Taran to go look for the food.
Eilonwy bump into Fflewddur after Taran and Gurgi were gone. "Oh! Fflewddur! Have you seen Gurgi? He disappear." She asks.
