Scamp sighed sadly . He knew that Baxter would have to leave tomorrow and he also knew Baxter would have no place to go because he had no home.
"Can't he stay with us.....just until me and Angel find him a home? Please dad look at him he's sick" Scamp said as Baxter shivered and then sneezed.

Tramp sighed. "Scamp, you know I don't mind if he stays, but it's not my place to decide," he said, lowering his gaze at Scamp. "You need to let Jim Dear and Darling know that he's here and let them decide, since this is their home."

Angel knew that Tramp was right. It wasn't their decision to make whether Baxter stayed or went and certainly wasn't fair to them to hide him from them.

Baxter sneezes again and sniffles as he shivers. "Angel go grab a warm blanket please" Scamp said.

"Here, Here, just lie down right here by the fire." Scamp said helping Baxter to lay down close to the fire.
"Thank You" Baxter said with a sniffle and then sneezed again.
"It's our pleasure. DO you want something warm to eat or drink?" Scamp asked.
"Nah, I wouldn't wanna intrude" Baxter said.
"Nonsense! Anything you want just name it" Scamp said.
"Well....." Baxter said.
"How about some chicken soup? It will really warm you up" Scamp said
"That does sound good" Baxter said with another sniffle.

"I found a warm blanket" Angel says as she carried a blanket in her mouth over towards where Baxter was lying in front of the fireplace before covering him up with the blanket. "Is that better?" She asks him.

Baxter gives Angel a small lick on the cheek in gratitude. "Thank You" He said lying under the blanket.

As Baxter was getting warmed up by the fire, Peg was struggling to get warm in a cold dog cell. All of her other cell mates had either escaped or been picked by a caring, adoptive family while she choose to stay, hoping somebody would claim her before she had to take the long walk.

Just then a little girl walks into the pound with her family to adopt a dog. "That one daddy I want that one" The little girl said stopping right in front of Peg's cage.
