A hyena grins noticing her fall behind and prepares to give her a killing bite when suddenly Simba springs out of their hiding place yelling "hand on nala!" and scratching the hyena on the nose before helping Nala into the safe hiding place.
"Are you alright??" Malka asks her.

"Yea... but I hurt my paw" Nala winces. She looks over at Simba." Thank you Simba, you saved my life" she kisses his cheek in way of thanking him.

Simba blushes slightly but tries to hide it. "We're friends, that what we do." he says with a small smile.
"You cubs can't hide in there forever. We can easily wait you out." one of the hyena's says while a couple of the others start laughing.

Mheetu snuggled up close to Nala he was scared out of his mind.
2 of the Hyena pups guarded the entrance to the cave their only way of escape. If the cubs even thought about escaping they'd be killed.
