Much to Amir's first concern over to Eldarion, Tom seem to overheard the hobbit trying to reach out to the frozen's prince spacing out, but was much relived that Eldarion return back to reality. Tom also look over to where Amir pointed to the most ugliest women he had ever seen before, but watching Eldarion getting very embarrassed was pretty hilarious for the hobbit.
Tom try so hard not to smirk, but he broke out into laughter. "HA-HA! And you thought the girls only saw me as a friend?" He replies over to Amir still laughing. "Eldarion, I've hit on girls who were much more attractive than that!!" He teased the elf/human prince.
But much to Arowen's concern over to her brother, Goldie, Kassie and Grace were the only three who didn't pay much attention or saw what came over with Eldarion for being too busy admiring all of the fancy stuff girls love best when it came to being on a shopping spree.
Kassie and Goldie show Grace lots of cool stuff they thought would be perfect for Grace to wear for her birthday party and the princess had nearly almost spend the entire money, forcing all of the guys to carry their things for them just as she had planned.
"This is going to be the best birthday ever!!" Grace declared joyfully, but because she was the only one ahead where the others were trying to pick up the pace to followed after her, the tall princess was much too busy being in her own little world thinking about all of the good and the best in her thoughts, but didn't see where she was going and accidentally crashed into a dwarf, who had been carrying a large bag of food with him that even the bag also fell down along with them too on the ground.
"Oh I am SO sorry about the mess!" Grace apologized as she was picking up the pieces of the fallen food to give to the dwarf. "It's okay." Said the young male dwarf who was in his early 20s and had small facial hair. For a dwarf who hadn't exactly grown out his full beard, he was quite handsome. He picked up the empty bag, taking all of the food Grace picked up for him and put it all away inside of his bag. "Say, you're that princess aren't you? Grace is it?" He took a guess.
"That's right. Princess Grace, daughter of Queen Angel and King Frodo. Good to meet you." Grace said, almost caught off guard a bit, but she introduced herself bowing politely to the dwarf. "I've never seen you around here before. Are you new?" She asks him.
"New? Nah, I come along here and there, but listen; I have all of these food I need to deliver. Maybe I'll see you around later?" "There's a celebration at my castle in honor of my birthday tonight. You can come if you like mister umm..." Grace stopped, realizing she never catch the dwarf's name.
"You can call me Jackal." The young he-dwarf reply. "Jackal?" Grace look at the dwarf very puzzled. "It's a nickname my family given me....because I'm strong and fierce like the animal! Rawr! Heheh!" Jackal teased playfully, laughing lightly a bit.
"Jackal....so you'll come?" Grace asks, hoping he say yes. "It's a date!" Jackal kept promise he would. He tied up the bag, being sure the food inside of the bag would stay tight and secure. He bid the princess a temporarily farewell and was off to returning back to his job.
Goldie and Kassie had seem the witness the interaction between Grace and Jackal. "What was that about?" Goldie had asked confusedly. Grace squealed excitedly and share to the girls about the good news. "This day just got better; I have a date tonight!"
"You got a date on the same day on your birthday?!!" Kassie asked her big cousin, she was thrilled for her but Goldie wasn't so exactly sure it was the right move to do. "Will your dad approved?" Goldie asks feeling rather skeptical. She had seen how much Frodo overreacted to mostly all things involving Grace, and the number one thing that all fathers hated the most was when their daughter starts dating someone.
"Who cares? I got a date!!" Grace cheered, not having a care in the world.

"Knock it off! I wasn't checking anyone out!" Eldarion hissed irritably at the two hobbits poking fun at him.
"A date? With a guy you just met? Are you so sure that's a good idea?" Eldarion spoke cautiously to her trying to make it go unnoticed about the crush he had on Grace. If she loved someone else, he would be willing to step aside for her happiness no problem but her happiness would be far more important to him but surely she wasn't insisting on dating a complete stranger. "Do you even know the guys name?"
"Lighten up Eldarion. We should be happy for Gracie. She's got a date and Kassie, Goldie, and I are gonna make sure you look amazing and enjoy yourself even if it means we gotta make sure Daddy dearest doesn't ruin your fun." Arowen promised happily hugging her friend.
Eldarion frowned. First strange visions and now Grace, the one person he had wanted to see and maybe spend a bit of time with had a date? Could the night get anymore strange and worse? He thought to himself.

After being introduced to Eldarion, Merry and Pippin lightly bowed to him in respect. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Eldarion," said Merry. "Yes, an honor to meet you," Pippin nodded. "Gandalf! Did you bring your fireworks?" Amir asked eagerly interrupting the conversation. Gandalf laughed and nodded. "Yes Faramir Took, I brought some special for the birthday party." He replied with an amused glint in his eyes. Pippin had eavesdropped into the conversation and got himself giddy over hearing it. Nudging Merry aside, he asked, "Oh, Merry! Remember when we had our little fun with the fireworks at Bilbo's birthday back at the Shire?" "Oh, yes. I remember it well," Merry smiled. "Oh, to relive that experience again..." This got Pippin into thinking. "Hmm...maybe we can..." Merry looked at him in puzzlement. "Huh?" Pippin leaned in to whisper in hushed tones so no one else could hear. "I have an idea. Let's wait until the party starts so we can get at those fireworks ourselves." Merry smirked at the idea Pippin was going for. "Ohh, alright. Let's do it." And so, they both decided to keep their fun plan a secret as they joined the others, waiting until the party would get started.

Things seem to be going from great to perfect for the excited princess. Having all of her friends around, and getting a date all on the same day? For sure, Grace knew nothing can ruined her spirits. Meanwhile back at the castle, Quinn had completed filling out all of the duties Queen Angel had assigned him to do. He was even lucky by cooking up the excuse to King Frodo by making up a lie about Grace and her pals returning back early and staying inside of her bedroom until they were going to be ready to come join the party.
So for the very last thing Quinn needed to do for the rest of the night was to be sure all of the guests who had arrived had came with the invitation they had received before being allowed to enter in. "Thank you. Enjoy the party. Welcome!" He said to each arriving member at a time, collecting all of the invites. The job was now completed and he scanned through each and every envelope to make sure all were in.
He stopped at his duty when Angel approached him to see how things were turning out. She didn't make eye contact with him or even said a word to him. Her main focus was coming to being distracted looking up at the moonlight sky.
Quinn can easily tell what it was that Angel was thinking of. "Is something the matter Angel?" "No." Angel lied shortly. "The party is going good. It's just..." "You still miss the two elves?" Quinn had taken his best second guess. It was just so highly obvious that the queen had miss her elvish human friend so much. Poor Angel had wish Emily and Legolas were with them attending the party too, but because they lived in another world, it wouldn't be exactly possible for them to send out the invite if they could had.
"Emily and Legolas? Yes." Angel nodded, then let out a sad sigh. "Well, I'd best go back inside and keep our guests in full company." She said, allowing herself to go and leave so was not to be leaving everyone hanging and waiting for her. After Angel had been dismissed, it was Frodo now who came up to see how Quinn was doing. "Have you collected them all?" He asks, referring to the invites still being held in Quinn's hands. "Every single one." He replied to him.
"Good." Frodo said, but couldn't help but have the need to getting a bit worried why Grace still didn't leave her room. It wasn't like her to be locked up all day long. "Is Grace still inside her room? I've check every hour, but I can't get through the doors. They're locked. You wouldn't happened to know if she went else where, do you Quinn?" He asks the royal adviser very suspiciously.
For a moment, Quinn hesitated to answer. He had to look up some good excused, but right on the nick of time, Grace and the rest of her friends return back. "Hi Daddy, we're back!!" Grace called out, waving at him hello. "Grace?!" Frodo spoken by shocked. "But I thought you were in your--" He stopped and look up glaring at the man next to him. "Quinn, you LIED to me again!!!" He shouted angrily at him.
"It wasn't a lie!!" Quinn replied defendedly. "You said you were going to watch them and you broken your promise. That is STILL a lie!" Frodo scolded at the adviser for not following orders as he should of been, but then turn over towards the princess whom he was most mad at. "Grace, I DEMAND from you right now to tell me where you have gone off to! You were supposed to be back BEFORE the party started. You said you would keep your word!"
"We stayed at the marketplace just like she told you we'd do Uncle Frodo." Goldie had told the hobbit king, speaking up for a change to support her best friend. "But we got caught up in the--" She went on to explaining, but got interrupted when the dwarf that Grace met up earlier show up, making his appearing announcement by singing a wonderful lovely tune.
Grace had no idea that a such a strapping young dwarf would had a very good singing voice. "It's him! He made it!" She told her friends excitedly. After that short little unexpected song, Jackal presented to the wizard/hobbit a princess a special surprise. A real flowerly rose. "For you, my lady!" He smiled, handing him the sweet gift. "Ohh Jackal, you shouldn't have. But thank you!" Grace smiled, but blushed over at the sweet present. She lean down towards him and allowed the dwarf to set the rose into her hair.
"You guys, don't I look great?" She asks Eldarion, Amir, Tom, Goldie, Kassie and Arowen. "Yeah...fantastic!" Tom replied sarcastically, but thought for the better to keep his mouth shut after that after knowing what was now coming up next.
"Who is he?" Frodo asks. "Daddy, this is Jackal." Grace commented, introducing the dwarf to her father. "He's my date for the night." "YOUR WHAT?!!?" Frodo raised his voice in an outburst.
"Hey I've heard of you!" Jackal said, pointing a waving finger at the king. "You're Frodo of the Nine Fingers. Yeah, you're the one hobbit who slay the dragon from the mountains long ago, right?"
"You are confusing me with another hobbit!" Frodo told him, trying to keep his temper in check. How hard was it for a simple dwarf to tell the hobbit apart from his old uncle? But he had no time and show no interest explaining to the dwarf the difference about who slay who or whom ended the one ring. "This is an invitation ONLY party! Where is your invite?" He asks him.
"I AM the invite!!" Jackal replied. He didn't need no sign written paper to give out real evidence to prove that he could come. "I was the one who invited him Dad. Cause we're dating now!" Grace had explained to her father better, but got fully proud of herself just saying that she was dating the dwarf.
"Grace, you CANNOT date a guy you just met! You are TOO young to be dating!!" Frodo barked. "I FORBID it until you are Gandalf's age!!" Grace felt herself flushing with embarrassment. "DAD!!" "Grace, I am YOUR father!! I know what's best for you!!" Frodo yelled. "No you don't! You just don't want me to have any fun!!" Grace argued with him. But watching this uncomfortable scene was putting up pure pressure. And Kassie did not want to be in the middle of all of it or watch them fighting. "Err I think my dad calling for me. Come on Amir! Let's go find him and your dad." The hobbit said, only to be using this as an excuse to leave now while they still had a chance. So she took Amir by the hand and dragged him with her inside where they know the two of them wouldn't be caught dead in their mess.
"Maybe we should be going and followed them too." Goldie whispers to Tom if they should be planning the same thing Kassie did when she took Amir with him, whom Tom had agreed, but was also hoping for Grace's sake, that the little feud between her and her dad can end if not soon maybe.
"Move over, nine fingers!" Jackal told Frodo, trying to get through so he can go in, but Frodo blocked his way. "You are NOT allowed to come in. GET OUT!!" Frodo shouted at the dwarf, pushing him away if he should ever step one foot inside through the opened doors.
"DAD STOP IT!!" Grace cried, stepping in the middle between them to protect the dwarf from the hobbit. "Quit embarrassing me, you're making a scene!" The princess refused to take anymore of bickering or scolding coming from her dad. "I'm very sorry about my dad." She had to apologized to the dwarf, turning around feeling sorry for this act of nonsense.
"Nah nah, it's okay." Jackal accepted the princess's apology with no hard feelings. "I'll let the two of you take this time to set aside your differences and work things out, while I go out of my way to fetch you your birthday present. You're going to love it! It will be to die for!" Jackal promised, and gave her a little cute flirty wink, dismissing himself out to get the gift.
Grace got so giddy, she couldn't help but squeal excitedly. "Isn't he the best? Come on girls, let's get ready!" She tells Goldie and Arowen, taking their hands and bringing them inside of the castle, only to be running in delight to get to their room fast so they can get all dolled up for the night.
How dare his one and only daughter would go behind his back and to be bringing in a total stranger, in which none knew nothing about him, only now with nothing left but to see them dating? Frodo felt furious. He was outraged. "ARGH!!!" He exclaimed, slamming his fist to a punching hit against the castle wall from behind it. "Did you see that? Did you see what she did? What nerve!!" He ranted. "Honestly, where does she get it from? Certainly not me!"
"Well it certainly did not come from her mother, if that is what you believed." Quinn finally had spoken after remaining quiet the whole time watching the between the parent and child arguing with fighting words.
"My daughter is NOTHING like me Quinn!!" Frodo stated, refusing to believe it to be true. But that was mostly all of the denial talk trying to convince him it was false when it felt like it appear to be more true.

As soon as the party had begun, Merry and Pippin set their plan into action, starting off by sneaking around the gathered crowd and slinking along the castle walls towards the wooden crate where the fireworks were stored in. Pippin climbed in and searched around for the best firework to light while Merry was on the lookout for anybody that would notice the two.
Pippin rummaged through the fireworks storage and pulled out a few to show Merry which was the right one to light up.
"No, no! Get the big one!" Merry told him. "The biggest one of all!"
Pippin continued his search until he spotted a firework shaped like a giant red dragon. "Ahh, here we go," he said, admiring the sheer size of it. Climbing off the crate, he motioned Merry to follow him and hide inside one of the tents set up for the party.
Pippin happened to have a set of matches handy and lit one up so he could light the fuse of the massive firework, which Merry helped hold up straight. "Done."
Merry noticed something wrong and shoved the firework at him. "You were supposed to stick it into the ground."
"It is in the ground," said Pippin, shoving the firework back. The shoving of the firework to each other continued back and forth as they argued.
"Outside!" Merry reminded him.
"It was your idea!" Pippin argued.
"How could you forget about what happened last time we did this?!" Merry asked in frustration.
It wasn't long before the firework would launch itself toward the sky and through the top of the tent, exposing the two hobbits for everyone to see. The firework began to take on the shape of an actual dragon before flying towards the crowd below, swooping down and then flying off to a far distance, creating a massive yet spectacular explosion for everyone to see.
The launch had catapulted the two hobbits to the ground, and after they looked up to notice the firework in action, Merry grinned. "That was good."
Pippin nodded and said, "Let's get another one."

OOC: Awww Angel misses Emily and Legolas. I bet she is just dying to see how Tristan turned out too XD
BIC: "Awkward..." Arowen muttered her breath as Frodo and Grace began arguing with one another. She looked around for Gandalf or Angel to break up the fight but wasn't surprised when she saw her father approach Frodo. "Frodo, all the guests are here. You should probably do a small formal speech to welcome all the guests and let the party start." He informed him calmly with a change of subject though the look in his eyes seemed to be a reminder for Frodo to remember he was king and it was not good to make a scene.
'Good ol' Adar (Father). Always on top of things.' She thought to herself. Before noticing everyone separating to avoid the scene and hurrying to follow Goldie and the other girls as she wondered where her brother had run off too.
Eldarion meanwhile had followed Jackal clearing his throat loudly to get the dwarf's attention. "Listen here, Princess Gracious is a lady and you will do everything to treat her as such. If you so much as insult her or dare lay one inappropriate hand on her, I will beat you so bad not even the crows will want to eat the remains of your flesh, got that?" He threatened grabbing the dwarf by his shirt collar glaring down at him.
Hiding not far off, after witnessing his father and Merry set off a large firework, Amir had a large grin on his face as he approached his father, Merry, and Gandalf. "That was great! I want to light one off too!"
"Don't get any ideas, Faramir Took." Gandalf warned the hobbit.
"Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregin Took, I knew you would be up to your old tricks again." Gandalf spoke as he held each of them by the ears as he had once done years ago. It would seem that not everything had changed.

OOC: Yes! Yes she is lol
BIC: "Fancy much of the gracious princess, do you elf-boy?" Jackal teased as he was being stared down by Eldarion. He didn't fear the prince's threat, but the dwarf can see right through to him how much he adores Grace so much. "Go find someone of your own kind! She doesn't want to be with someone like you!"" He added, taking the elf/human's hands off from him and pushing him back. He had Grace's affections and that was that. There was no possible way he would think that Eldarion would stand in the way of that. So without wasting another of minute of time, Jackal had left.
"Alright Aragorn, I will." Frodo sighed heavily in defeat if it was to only keep his mind off about the whole stranger dwarf his daughter invited without coming to him or Angel for permission if it was okay or not to do so. "I don't suppose this night could get any more harder for me can it?"
However, before that question was even coming to answer by Aragorn or Quinn, it had seem word had broken out that for some unknown reason, the Sackville-Baggins, whom Frodo had avoided for so long even up to the time when Bilbo used to be alive, had heard the news about the hobbit who had left The Shire only to be marrying into a wealthy rich family and now they wanted the goods. "WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS THAT FRODO BAGGINS?" Shouted the old lady hobbit who went by the name Lobelia. Frodo feared they would someday come around to searching up for him.
"AAH!! How did they know where to look for me?!?!" Frodo yelped. Cowardly as he did, the frightened king chicken his way back inside but quickly raced back to Aragorn and Quinn for a split second. "Tell them I'm not here. You didn't see me!" He tells them and retreats back in doors to look for a place to go hide in case they were to ever get through.
Quinn sighed rolling his eyes. "Once a commoner, always acts like a commoner!" The royal adviser mumbled to himself. He saw the two angry old hobbits marching up their way where they stood, so Quinn gave Aragorn the invitations to hold onto for him. "Allow me to handle this." He insisted.
"Excuse me, but I'm afraid I can't let you go through without an invite; King's orders!" Quinn tells them, stopping them. "King? HA! That Frodo is not fit to be a king!" Lobelia's husband Otho spoken rudely. "The boy can't even take care of himself without that no good know-at-all Bilbo Baggins!"
"Let us pass!!" Lobelia shouted. "I demand we see him!" She try to get passed the tall man, but Quinn prevented that from happening. "Funny, only a REAL king or queen can give the orders around here. Do you think you have what it takes to rule a kingdom better than him?" Says Quinn, giving the two hobbits a real meaningful look in his eyes that he would not let them go through no matter what they said.
Otho and his wife Lobelia look at each other, nodding to come up with another solution; and that was to outrun the man. Lobelia (who was on the left) and Otho (who was on the right) took the quickest cumming way to run, even if it meant giving out a chase. Unfortunately for them, once they started at the same time, Quinn had his shoving hands pressed up against their heads, watching them swinging their fists into the air angerily.
Quinn couldn't help but rolled his eyes and shake his head. "Ohh hobbits....they're all the same!" He commented. So by picking them up in each of his arm, he carried them both only to be throwing them out at the gateway doors and closing them shut.
"Tell the king I said "Your welcome" after he thanks me!" Quinn says to Aragorn after returning back to where he was last standing.

Eldarion fought the urge to blush. "Princess Gracious, is a friend and I will not let you harm her. By Valar, you try anything DWARF and you'll regret it." Eldarion threatened knocking the dwarf over without bothering to help him to his feet as he left to find his sister and the rest of their companions.
"Honestly Frodo, you have nothing to fear from them. Quinn's taken care of it for now however and I believe you owe him a thank you." Aragorn told the hobbit after giving a nod of acknowledgement to vizier before leaving the room to join his family and the other guests.

"Are you sure they're gone?" Frodo asks the Gondor king. "Is who gone Mr. Frodo?" Sam asks walking in. He didn't see any sign of Lobelia and Otho Sackville-Baggins trying to track down poor Frodo.
"Never mind, not important." Frodo shaked his head, not going to bring it up, but left to leave the room and followed along side by Aragorn.
"Son, where's your sister at?" Sam asks Tom, who just happened to be standing around. He didn't see his daughter around now that the kids were back.
"She's with Grace and Arowen getting ready Pop." Tom replied. "'Kay good. Let's go inside now. Your mum and I are waiting for you." Sam says, pointing the way back in. "Yeah I'm coming." Tom nodded, following right behind his dad.
Sam and his son Tom followed to where Aragorn and Frodo were at, which was lead inside a nice giant ballroom where all of the guests had started dancing without them.
Frodo had taken his seat into the throne that was right next to Angel's. "Oh there you are Frodo. I was wondering where you'd--" Angel was saying, but frowned noticing how stress out her poor husband was feeling. "Honey, what's wrong?"
"It's Grace!" Frodo answered. "She brought in a date without telling--" "Stop!" She interrupted him. "Did you say that she has a date? On her birthday?!!?!" Angel asks Frodo, rather very surprised by it. "Yes!!" Frodo replied. "But I told her she can't date because she's too young to--" However, he got interrupted again by his wife.
"STOP! Who is he? Her date?" Angel was curious enough to ask who the stranger it was their daughter brought home with him. "I DON'T KNOW! Some dwarf we've never met before!" Frodo cried impatiently that he had to keep on stopping just to be answering up to his wife's questions. "And I don't trust him! He's up to something!!" He added, crossing his arms. He knew there was a sneaky feeling in him that tells him otherwise about Grace's strange date with the dwarf.
Angel was not even sure what to say about it. She wanted to be happy for her daughter, but to be on a date with someone they had just met on that day was not the right thing to do. She didn't judge Frodo for his doubts, but the queen stay quiet because she had nothing else more to say about that. "Too bad it isn't Emily's son she should be with!" Angel thought to herself, keeping her mind closed.
"Eh, that's not the weirdest thing I've heard. I've hear other stuff terrible than that!" Sam said shrugging his shoulders, who was standing closely aside hearing the king and queen talking about their princess.
"Like what Pop?" Tom asks, stepping into the middle of their conversation. But Sam wasn't able to get the chance into explaining, when Arowen and Goldie came back grinning and getting excitedly. "Uncle Frodo, Aunt Angel; may I present to you your daughter, Princess Grace." Goldie announced, and out came Grace wearing a very beautiful peach color dress. Her hair was nicely all brushed up and she still got to wear the rose in it that Jackal gave her earlier.
"Wow Grace! You look great!" Tom said, astonished on how great Grace looked. "The dwarf's one lucky guy!" He can't help but mumble low underneath his breathed, feeling a bit on the jealous side.
"Thank you Tom." Grace replies, not feeling disgusted by the little hobbit for once since he was trying to be nice by giving her a compliment. She looked around, hoping that Jackal had return back. "So is my date here yet? I'm ready to have my first dance with him!!"
"Grace I'm sorry, but you are moving a step too far with this!" Frodo said, now having in on the word he doesn't want to watch Grace be having a good time with a complete stranger, knowing that something bad will go wrong. "No one can be in relationship this fast after meeting them only one day!!"
"But why not? It work out for you and mom!" Grace pointed out the big obvious clue into her parents relationship with each other. "THAT IS NOT TRUE!!" Frodo denied. "Angel, will you please tell our daughter we did NOT dated the same day we had met?" He asks, glancing towards his wife.
What her husband did was very uncalled for. Why now did she had to be brought up to tell their child otherwise about how wrong it was dating someone they hardly ever know about? Angel remain quietly, trying to figure out what was the best way for them to both understand their point of views about having to date. "Your father and I never dated." She answered.
"You see?" Frodo says, knowing that he was right along. "Expect in your father's mind, he thinks we did!" Angel added tease fully with a chuckling laugh. "ANGEL!!" Frodo yelled.
"Oooooh!!!" Tom commented, but still laugh as did Goldie and Grace did too. "Speak for yourself!" Sam said, now getting into the fun for embarrassing the poor king. "You kids should see the way he reacted; he FAINTED after getting one good look at her!" He told the children, pointing his thumb at the hobbit king.
"SAM!!" Frodo shouted, trying to fight with his will not to be blushed. He had never been so more embarrassed than he ever was. "Oh yeah, I remember now!" Angel smiles. It sure was one moment she never forgotten. "Didn't you claim I was the most beautiful hobbit you saw?" The queen laughed. Poor Frodo slumped down in his throne with a facepalm he had mad. "SHUT UP! I was NOT myself that day!!" He lied.

"You look great, Gracie. Now what do you say we go find that date of yours huh? I'm sure he cant be too far." Arowen spoke to Grace in a whisper so Frodo wouldn't hear as he and the others reminsced about old times.
She tried not to show it but after the Queen's cold welcome to her and her brother earlier, Arowen felt very uncomfortable around Angel. It was as if the queen were judging her and her brother at every turn and certainly couldn't be because they were elves because she didn't seem as cold to her mother who was an elf. So was it because they were half elf? If so, the Queen had no room to judge with she herself being half hobbit half wizard.
She did her best not to show any uncomfortableness around them though if only for the sake of her pride and even more so the friendship between her and Grace.
Arowen herself was wearing a beautiful green gown with a golden necklace she had bought in the market and a gold circlet around her head symbolizing her elven title.
Eldarion stood watching his sister and Grace walking through the crowd of guests. He smiled at Grace's beautiful outfit that really helped bring out her spirit.
Checking his reflection in a nearby plate, he sighed and made his way over towards them. Sure, he wasn't probably the greatest looking halfling around but he was ten times the man that Jackal was, he was sure of it.
"Hello Arowen. Hello Grace." He greeted both of them. He took a moment to look around the crowd for any sign of Jackal before clearing his throat and adding "Grace, would you do me the-" He started to ask but was interrupted when Jackal suddenly appeared.
He didn't say anything but rather walked away from them. When he was several feet away from them, a look of sorrow passed his gaze as he watched the two of them dancing together before he continued walking.
"Wait up!" Arowen called after her brother as she rushed to catch up with him. "Are you okay?" She asked him.
"Fine." He lied to her feeling bad again for doing so but he didn't want to talk about his feelings for Grace to anyone, not even his sister.

"You're very light on your feet for a dwarf." Grace complimenting Jackal's improving slow dancing skills as they continue dancing around. She had never danced with a dwarf in the ballroom, but there was always a first time for everything.
"Practice makes perfect!" Jackal smiled up at the princess. "So when do I get my present?" Grace whispers to him, grinning happily. "Right after this dance my lady!" Jackal replied.
As the king and queen watch their beloved daughter dancing away through the night in the ballroom, Angel had a hunch that something wasn't feeling right, but something was missing. "Frodo, have you seen the cake?" Angel asks.
"The what?" Frodo asks, not paying attention. He was much too distracted watching in anger of seeing Grace having a nice time dancing with Jackal.
"The cake! We had the cake right there!" Angel said, pointing over at the empty corner where the cake was last seen. Nobody had seen to keep an eye on the birthday cake, but now it was gone. Angel knew it couldn't have just disappear out of thin air when the bakers had work so hard all day making that cake for Grace and all of their guests.
After the dance was finished, everyone applauded for the princess' first dance of the night. Frodo stood up from his throne, clearing up his throat to get ready and prepare for his speech. "Ahem! Your attention please!" He began to the crowd. "I have--"
"Whoa whoa whoa, hang on there kingly!" Jackal interrupted. "I got something I want to say first. Please let me?" He asks politely. Frodo growled under his breath, but sat down back down. "Fine! But hurry!" He said, letting him to make it fast.
"Friends! People of other kingdoms!" Jackal started announcing in all of the guests. "It has been great fun being here with so much fresh faces I see here. I don't know any of you as well I should like and I don't care!!"
"Uh-oh! This doesn't sound good." Sam said, feeling the pressing hint that Jackal was doing to be doing something stupid. "So without further a do," Jackal continued as he step away til he was close to the back walls where he had stood next to a long yellow rope. "I'd like to present to you, what it means to take the cake!" And within that final speech, the dwarf pulled down on the rope and out of nowhere the missing cake that had made it's disappearance came falling down from the ceiling and crashing right on Grace, ruining her not just her perfect time to shine, but also her whole entire outfit and hair too.
Grace gasped in the horror that the dwarf had done to her. Publicity humiliating her in front of all that she knew of with cake being dumped on her. "JACKAL!!" She screamed.
"Why don't you tell us what's it like to be the daughter of a nine fingered weakling? HAHA!!" Jackal laughed meanly. "What did he called me!?!?!" Frodo glared in his most bad tempered way face he ever made.
"Jackal...I-d--I thought you care about me." Grace says sadly. "Care about you? HAHA! You don't even know ME, but you were willing to date me just like that? You are SO pathetic, just like him!!" Jackal says rudely, referring how much in common Grace would pick the naive traits from her dad.
"Why I'd--" Grace growls. She pointed her palms out open at him to try and get the magic in in her to shoot out so she can teach the mean dwarf a lesson, but it wasn't working. For years, she had try and try to get some type of powers to come alive since she did come from a long line of wizards from her mother's side of the family. But still, it wasn't doing the job she needed.
"You'll what? Blast me to death? Ooh I'm so scared. Oh but wait, you DON'T have any powers! Everybody knows!!" Jackal reminded her still in mean spirits.
Grace couldn't take another one of the dwarf's cruel insults anymore. If there was one thing Jackal was right about, it was that she had no powers to use. Therefore, she was completely useless. Crushed and heartbroken, she took off running crying in tears.
"Grace, wait!!" Goldie called out, going after her friend. She had almost caught up to her until Grace locked herself up in the bathroom.
"Well ladies and gents, it's been fun for me, but I really must be off!" Jackal said. Now that his job as the party crasher he was was finished, he began making his way out.
"THAT DOES IT!!" Frodo exclaimed. Overhearing the loud king's outburst, Jackal was in seriously trouble. "CRAP!!" He cried and ran as fast as his dwarf feet can carried him out the door. But the hobbit was not going to stop until he got what he rightfully deserve and that was payback. He chased him all the way outside until like a hunter catching his pray, Frodo pounce of top of the dwarf's back, both of them falling down to the ground and Frodo gave Jackal one hell of a beatdown.
Sam went after his friend. As a father, he couldn't blame the king for taking down the dwarf with his inner parenting needs, but he had to go out to make sure that he was okay for the most part. "FRODO! MR. FRODO!!" He shouted. When he did came around to finding him, Sam went right up to Frodo and pulled the furious fatherly king away from the beaten dwarf. "I think you've done enough for one night." He tells him patting his back and trying to brush off the dirt from the king's clothing.
"Here you are showing up unannounced to a party you were NOT invited to, you humiliated my daughter and insult me in front of all we know of?!!?" Frodo shouted bitterly but very madly down at the fallen dwarf. "You are no longer welcome here! Leave now before I throw you into the dungeon!" He added, but then his back on with Sam following along by his side.
Though in pain a bit from the beating up, Jackal pick himself up slowly. "You don't have the balls!" He insulted the hobbit king. Only Sam could knew what was coming for him next. Frodo turn around quickly and attack the dwarf fast by punching him hard on the face, sending him for a blow with the force knocking him down leaving him nothing but a bloody nose.
"If I EVER catch you around in my kingdom or near my daughter again, I will personally rip your arms off and shove them down your throat so you can see what it feels like getting your heart crushed by your own two hands!!!" Frodo threaten the dwarf very coldly with the feeling rage of death look in his eyes.
"Suit yourself! I have other parties I need to crashed to!!" Jackal wiped off the blood off his nose cleaned up and left before the king decided to change his mind about those threatening actions he would of gotten coming to him.

"That's not going to work this time, Eldarion. I am your sister and I know when something is bugging you, so spit it out already!" Arowen spoke with a mixture of hurt and annoyance that he brother was suddenly keeping secrets from her when they never had before.
"I told you, it's nothing! Butt out!" Eldarion shouted back at her in frustration wanting her to just drop it. He immediately regretted yelling at her as she glared at him and walked off without a word. "Arowen, wait I-" He started to call after his sister when their attention turned to the scene that soon unfolded between them and all the rest of the assembled guests at the party where Jackal coldly humiliated Grace in front of everyone.
"That dirty rat! If I get my hands on him, I'll show him what happens when you mess with my cousin!" Amir shouted angrily as he hurried over to comfort Grace with Arowen who had already hurried over to her. "That jerk! How dare he do that to you?!" Arowen spoke outraged. "Are you okay?" She asked her.
Eldarion meanwhile glared watching the direction that Jackal had run off in. 'That good for nothing dwarf! I knew it! I'll make him pay for what he did to Grace!' He vowed angrily walking off into that direction following Frodo, Jackal, his father, and Sam.
He had enough sense to stay hidden in the shadows as Frodo delivered Jackal a well deserved beating and waited until the adults left before chasing after Jackal, his sword drawn and ready for use.
"Jackal!" He shouted as he caught up to the dwarf in the lower town. "I warned you, if you tried to do anything that would harm Princess Grace in any way, I'd make you suffer for it. You destroyed her honor and you will answer for your crimes." He told him as he approached the dwarf before getting into a fight with him earning a few injuries himself but winning the fight nonetheless.
Satisfied, he sheathed his sword and hurried back to the castle. He couldn't explain it but he had this sinking feeling things were about to get much worse.

"Grace!" Kassie called. Much like the rest of the people, Kassie had witness the whole entire coldhearted scene that Grace had got to suffer and try looking for her poor hurt cousin, but was stuck surrounded by the crowd. Luckily for the little hobbit, she got her way through out and followed to were Arowen, Amir and Goldie were at.
"Where's Grace?" She asks them, wondering why they were all just standing around in front of the bathroom door. "She locked herself in the bathroom." Goldie told her and gave a tap on the door.
The poor Grace was sitting all alone in the soaking bathroom wailing her tears out, but can still hear the voices of her friends just out the door still trying to look for some way to get in to see how she was holding up. "Grace? Let us in!"
"Go away!!" Grace sobbed. She was in no mood to see anyone right now. "Come on Grace, it wasn't so bad!" Kassie called. "Sure, we're not going to be having cake tonight but--" "You're not being a big help Kass!" Goldie glared at the hobbit for using those poor choice of words.
Tom approached the others too. Besides Eldarion, he also saw Frodo giving Jackal the smacking beatdown but didn't see Eldarion finishing the rest of the work with his sword. "Grace?" He called, now trying his turn knocking on the bathroom door also. "You can come out now. The dwarf's gone."
"I got an idea. Wait here." Goldie says, telling everyone to stay as she head out to fetch something for Grace to make her feel better. She stop on by to the table where all of the birthday presents were at and look for the big tall one she brought to the party. When she did found it, she got the gift and went back to where the others were still failing at trying to get Grace to come out of the bathroom.
"Grace? I have something to help you replace your outfit." She said. They didn't hear any callbacks from Grace, but they did see the door opening up just a bit only enough to be seeing Grace peeking out wearing just a wrapping towel around her body. "What is it?" She asks.
"Here!" Goldie handed her out the gift to her. She took it and unwrapped it, opening the box to revealed a pretty lime green color dress. "It's a new dress my mom and I made for you for your party. Do you like it?" The she-hobbit asks her friend, waiting for her to reply.
Grace was not sure what to say, but it was the thought that counts. She gave a little small smiled and nodded. It was nice thought out present and to think that her best friend Goldilocks and her Aunt Rosie made just for her.

"You can try it on and Goldie Kassie and I can give you a good old fashioned makeover, what do you say?" Arowen added. She like the others were trying to keep Grace's spirits up and she was trying to put the fight with her brother out of her mind. They had fought before, it was natural for siblings to fight after all, but this time it was different somehow.
Arowen knew her brother was keeping things from her and no longer seemed to trust her enough to confide in her anymore and that hurt her deeply. She noted her brother had run off somewhere but she didnt have to guess where as she had a pretty good idea of where it was. She also knew her brother was capable of taking care of himself so there was no need to get involved and more importantly she thought it best if she and her brother kept their distance from each other for a little while.

"I guess we could." Grace says, not having any real excited in her tone but she was trying to still cheer herself up as it seem like the sound of a new replacing makeover was a good call for it.
So the boys excused theirselves out while the three girls help out Grace getting dolled up and ready again while the night of the party was still young. Grace didn't speak very much with Arowen, Goldie and Kassie even with the makeover was all nice and touch up and she was wearing the new dress Rosie and Goldie made for her, if there was one thing she was now worried for mostly after that crappy stunt pull off she got from the mean dwarf Jackal, it was her father Frodo she would have to face now, predicting too well what she was gonna get coming for.
Grace return back to the party with all of their guests awaiting, but didn't see Frodo around. "Where's dad?" She asks her mother. Angel didn't think it was a good idea for her daughter to be talking to Frodo as of now since he was still lost in anger thoughts, but she pointed the way over where he was not so far closely down the hall. Grace took that direction to find Frodo sharpening up his sword.
"Dad?" She speak up, feeling somewhat nervous on the inside of what he will scold her off for. But it had seem that Frodo had been ignoring her because he wasn't turning around to face up to her. "Dad?" She try again, but seem to still be failing. "I got a new dress. See?" She says, trying to show off her new outfit. "Aunt Rosie and Goldie made it for me. I'd--" She halted in mid sentence. Why now was Frodo not even speaking up a word at all? He had seem he would rather much be distract not using any busy excuse not to be bother at all. "Dad, why won't you look at me?!!?" She asks desperately.
Frodo stop at what he was doing and set the sword down. "Grace, I am in NO mood to be bother with now!" He finally had speak and then had turn around at last. The look on his face that she saw in her dad's eyes show gravely betrayed and higher disappointment. "You disobey me behind my back! When I say don't do it, I expect you not to do it!"
"But dad, I'd....I thought--" "You thought up everything all wrong Grace! You are NOT ready to face love yet!" Frodo told her. The way he saw it, it was not her time yet to be facing romance.
"Then what IS love to you dad?" Grace asks, putting him right on the spot about the big question. Frodo could not fully explained to it well to his child because romance had many different ways working it's way through. For Emily and Legolas, their relationship went from hate to actually learning to get along with long another and then finding theirselves realizing the feelings they long for each other and went on to tied the knot at the double wedding they got to share with Frodo and Angel. And for Frodo, it was not the same. He found love earlier when meeting Angel, but it took time for her to let her own feelings grow for him back and in return let that love blossom and share, and for the end of it all, created Grace out of wedlock before setting it in together with each other.
"You're asking the wrong person Grace." Frodo says, but it was just an excuse so he wouldn't have to go into full detail into it. "You won't know what love is until you find it."
"But that's not very fair!" Grace whined. "Life is NOT supposed to be fair. IT NEVER WAS!!" Frodo yelled back. "It's easy for you to say; you didn't have to grow up in a castle like mom and I did!" Grace shouted at him. It was the very wrong time to be blaming on who got to be raised, but Grace ended up switching the subject about love to a ranting complaint about how much she hated being a princess. "UGGH I CAN'T STAND LIVING THIS TYPE OF LIFE MUCH LONGER!" She cried frustratedly turning her back away from him. "I DON'T WANT TO BE A PRINCESS ANYMORE!" And with that, she storm off away from her dad. "Why did mom had to come from royalty?" She thought to herself sadly. It had been unfair in her own experience that Frodo was able to live the free commoner life before giving it all up to be with her mother Angel.
So the only folks she did knew that still had the carefree life was just Amir, Kassie, Goldie and Tom and that was all she knew about it. The poor princess needed alone time, so to keep herself busy to get her mind off from stuff, she stopped on by to revisit her old favorite hobby; reading books.
She took a seat in a chair and look by around by the bookshelf, letting her fingers scanned through each book to find which was best to read. From there, she came across a red book she hadn't seen before. Grace pulled it out and open it up, flipping through pages after pages did she find very beautiful handwritten text with pictures she had never seen before. Grace return back to the first chapter to see who it was written why, only to find not only was Frodo's name on it but also the name of her late great-uncle Bilbo.
"There and Back Again; A Hobbit's Tale by Bilbo Baggins. And the Lord of the Rings; by Frodo Baggins." She read to herself. This was all something new she had not seen before, but the name of Bilbo did not ring any bells to her mind. Her father had never talk much about his dearly late uncle, but maybe he did and Grace had possibly not had been around in the room to hear or possibly didn't pay attention about it either. "Bilbo, Bilbo....whose Bilbo?" She can't help but ask.
