"Does it LOOK like I'm okay Renton?" Judy began by remarking over to Renton. "NO! I AM NOT OKAY! I'm not okay because Nick's father gave away the fact to all of you that I am pregnant with his son's child!!!" She added without even thinking clearly with what she had just said at that last part, causing herself to gasp in shock and cover her mouth as her ears droop down after the last minute mistake she had just said out loud in that outburst. "Oops..."
Jonathan stood there in silence with his jaw dropping and his eye widen in shock. He couldn't believe the big revealing news he had just heard with his own ears. The fact that this child the bunny was carrying was none other than his own grandchild, the child to his son Nick. "Wha--WHAT!!?!?" It was all he could say at first with just a short comment within a bit of a stammer. "You--you mean...you and you and--" He stutter in between words, pointing fingers between the young fox and his former fiance until Jonathan had figure it out on his own that the fiance all along was Judy. Thus, this cause Jonathan to stomp his foot down in anger and let out an loud angrily scream. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" The one-eyed fox's screaming outburst was so loud, that it nearly shook the entire hopps home, causing everyone inside of the home in each room to stop what they were doing; even the cats quickly cover their ears until the screaming came to a stop.
"NICHOLAS PIBERIUS WILDE!!!" Jonathan began by grabbing his son by the ear and yank him as he started scolding at Nick loudly. If there was anything that was quite scary to see, it was to witness a parent using their child's full name and tugging onto their ears the old-fashion way as a sign that it was trouble. "WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE YOU THINKING? SHE'S A BUNNY, A PREY! YOU'RE A FOX! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE DONE HERE!?!?!"
Samwise rolled his eyes and shook his head. Honestly, he was not so surprised to see that somebody else could see that a match-up between a fox and a bunny was disgusting. "Try to tell them it was sick, but no one seems to listen to us small ones." He spoken out of habit.
Jonathan right away let go of Nick's ear. "SHUT UP CAT! I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU!!" Jonathan shouted coldly towards Sam, causing the small cat to flinch a little bit as he back away, although he couldn't help but hissed at the fox for even speaking to him at that tone.
Jonathan turned his attention back towards his son. "Nicholas, I cannot believe you would have the nerve to waste your engagement on a bunny. What would our ancestors think if they found out you wanted to spend your lifetime with her?" Just as soon as that comment of his was let out, the fox began to panic by pacing around his circles nervously just for thinking the idea that his granddaughter was going to be born half-rabbit. What would the public think if he were to been seen with a hybrid as a member of his family? "No...no this can't be happening! I can't be a grandfather to that---that...ABOMINATION that's growing inside of her!!!!" He stopped in his tracks right away and continued on by yelling at his son. "You couldn't try to settle down with a vixen just like a NORMAL fox should? You're no fox to me...you're nothing more but a foolish idiot!!!"
But Judy had had enough watching Nick's father taking out his anger on his son by mostly putting all of the blame on him. She knew she shouldn't interfere due to the sake of her health as well as the unborn baby, but enough was enough. "Now hold on there for just one second Mr. Wilde, don't take this out personally on your son. He didn't know about this--" She was saying as she step fourth towards him, taking him by the arm with a gentle touch of her paw so that she get him away from Nick, but in that very instant, the fox try to pull away from her, only to be smacking Judy across the face. "DON'T TRY TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!" He shouted at her.
Judy stare in horror after she had back away from him, shocked that he would dare lay a hand on her like that. All she try to do was help end the bad situation, but it grew more worse. In return, the stubborn bunny got payback by kicking him in the leg, causing to him to yelp. "You've got NO right to be slapping a pregnant woman in the face like that. I'm the mother to YOUR granddaughter, and whether you like it or not, I demand respect!!!" She told him with a glare, but not for very long once the scenery had gotten more dark as soon as there was a growl coming from the fox with a hatred look in his eye.
"Uh-oh." And with that, Judy made a run for it and bolted off.
"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE TRAMP!!!" Jonathan exclaimed as he began to go after the pregnant bunny. The chase went inside of the Hopps home for quite a little while, until it came to an end when Jonathan grabbed Judy by the throat and had her pinned up against the wall, but the bunny thought fast and kicked him straight into the face, causing him to let go and fell. Luckily for the pregnant bunny, she only landed on her bottom and got up again, but she was just so tired after that chase, she couldn't continue running anymore.
Slowly, she came to a stop by the bay window. This time, instead of getting up on two legs, Jonathan got down on all fours, just like a hunter about ready to pounce on the prey. "This ends now!" He snarled.
Angel was the first one to get to Jonathan and Judy at first hand, and saw that she was trapped. "Judy!" She gasped. She knew she had to save her bunny friend, but how? She didn't want to go in using her powers at the fox for she had fear at such a big commotion could cause lots of damage to everyone else inside of the hopps home, so she would have no choice but to choose whatever she can find to use, so the only item she could think of that might be very useful was a wooden tennis racket, so she got that and then came to the bunny's defense by getting into the way, standing in front of Judy to protect her away from Jonathan.
"Stay back!!" Angel warned him. "I got a..uhhh--a weapon here and I'm not afraid to use it!"
"You mean a tennis racket?" Asks Judy.
"Umm right, what she said." Replied Angel.
"Huh? Get out of my way cat!" Jonathan ordered. "This is between me and the rabbit."
Angel gulped nervously. "Look, I don't want to hurt you." She admitted, but still kept her guard up if the fox should dare try to make an attacking move. "And I am sure you do not want to hurt me too, but we must think what is best for the baby."
"I DON'T CARE! There is a hybrid in her and I HATE hybrids!" Jonathan growled.
"You don't even know if your grandchild will be born of mixed species or not." Angel told him, that was until she turned over her shoulder and ask Judy just to make sure. "Do you know?"
"NO! Because the doctor didn't get the chance to tell me when I was at the hospital! All I know about the baby is the gender, that's it!" Judy cried. "And what do you have against hybrids anyway? What have they ever do to you?" The bunny added, this time by addressing the question over to Jonathan.
Jonathan stop growling at an instant, staring at the rabbit and cat as if they ask them the most unanswer question ever. Being half-wizard herself, it wasn't hard for the queen to figure out the answer right away. For Angel, she could see through his frozen fear expression. "He fears them...just like my fear of twins." Angel found herself thinking right away to herself. She would never forget the day since the defeat of her evil twin sister, it cause such a traumatic experience for the queen that ever since then, she would have a fear over all twins. If Judy had been pregnant with twins, Angel would've freak out and not in a good way either, but thankfully that wasn't the case yet she had a sneaky suspicious feeling that Jonathan's experience with a hybrid must've been very bad since she was curious as to why the fox's left side of the face was covered up from that cloth he wore.
But the fox snapped outta his frozen fear position and made his move by pouncing in, but Angel was too fast for him once she had took a hard swing, hitting Jonathan right across the face with the tennis racket in hand. Not only did the tennis racket broke in half, but the impact was strong enough to knock the piece of the cloth away from his face soon as the fox hit the floor.
A part of Angel felt terrible she had to go and do such a thing, but around the same time, she did try to warn him and he did not listen. Jonathan sat up, rubbing the side of his face in a groan to where he got a whack at. It was then revealed much to their shock, that the left side of Jonathan's face had some very deep serious scars, as well as his left eye being blind. It was even more shocking when the others caught up and saw the whole entire thing.
Angel dropped the broken tennis racket in shock and gasped. It all finally had made sense now, seeing how her suspicion hunch about the fox was correct. And for that, she did not blame him for it for trying to keep it a secret away from the world. "You shouldn't have try to do that." The cat began to spoken up on behalf for the rabbit's defense, and yet it sounded more like pity than anything else. "But if you continue to try to harm Judy, you will also be harming your grandkit too. Do you want to be held responsible for that?"
Jonathan realize how deeply right the cat was; still the chances of him having a hybrid for a grandchild was going to happened and there was nothing he could do about it since he did not believe his grandkit will be born as a regular fox or an ordinary bunny. "Hybrids have no place among us." He said as he got up from the floor, back on his two legs again and pick up his cloth. He couldn't look anyone else in the eye, even if he wanted to; especially not at his son. Still bitter over the news about becoming a grandfather to a mixed species of an animal, Jonathan walked right up to his son with one last final remark. "Mark my words Nicholas, if this child of yours is born a hybrid, I am NEVER speaking to you again!!! Do you hear me? And I don't care what you have to say, but I'm NOT giving you my blessing!" He stated to him disrespectfully before shoving him back. "Now get out of my way, I need to get me a drink." Jonathan headed off to look for the kitchen and once he did, he pick up a bottle of wine, and two matching wine glasses to go with it and storm outside to be by himself.
Judy shook her head in grave disappointment once the fox was out of sight. She had a bad feeling deep down it wouldn't end well, and it went down a lot more worse than she could had ever imagined since she had no idea that Nick's father could ever get so violent when it came to such a strong temper.
With the fox already gone, Angel helped the pregnant bunny back on her feet. "Are you okay Judy?" She asks once she had help her up.
But Judy was in no mood to be speaking to either of them, especially not to Nick either because she was still overly too upset after what had just happened. "NO! And I want all of you out of my house right now, especially you Nick!" Judy remark outta angry tears, only to be making her way out, but stop midway to give Nick a cold look. "You wasted your time coming here Nick, and to bringing the cats with you no doubt about it." She tells him, then began to walked off, not stopping until she had finally reach her bedroom and slam the door in anger right behind her. She decided to go and rest on her bed, hoping a nap will claim her stressful mood swings, but she couldn't seem to get her mind about what happened, and began on sobbing.
Jonathan stood there in silence with his jaw dropping and his eye widen in shock. He couldn't believe the big revealing news he had just heard with his own ears.
