Alright guys I have a question for the members of this board.
Over at the Ferngully board we added a few new features and I was wondering whether or not the members of this board would like them here as well.
One of the new features was making an adult section to the fanfiction area which will be password protected and only given out when asking for permission from pm and the member asking being at least 15 or older.
Another feature was making the fanfiction and fanart section of the boards un-viewable to guests to avoid guests coming in and stealing things from the members of this board and claiming it as their own elsewhere.
Another feature was making a chat box at the bottom of the board where members are free to chat with each other providing they follow a list of rules that would go with the chat box.
So members feel free to speak up new features added yes or no. I want to hear everyone's opinon on these.
And as always if you think of any suggestions please feel free to share them. I am always looking for a way to make this forum more enjoyable to members.

I like all of those ideas!!! Especially the chat box because there are some people here that might not have Instant Messenger.

It's true a chatbox can come in handy. We had to created one for our own at the Ferngully board because the new member Missy doesn't have any type of instant messenger on her computer and the only way we had the chance to contact her outdside of the board was through chatbox.
Some proboards do have them, and some don't but I think it's a must-have thing for the boards.

I'm so happy that you answered to this Disneyfanatic18 as I was hoping to hear from other members on their thoughts.
And I completely agree with you both on the chat box thing it does make it easier especially if your instant messanger isn't working that day for some reason 'cause mine does that

Yup anytime...I was going to answer to this earlier but I couldn't find it XD a good site to hold chats is www.chatzy.com you can make your own chatroom and you can even create a password for it as well...You can post it in a thread and lock it. check the site out it's pretty cool. |

Sorry if that sounded like a Spam but it really wasn't It was just a suggestion XD.
Only bad think about that site is that like it only allows a certain amount of members so maybe Chatzy isn't the best bet. But it's nice that you don't have to download anything.

I would also like to make a suggestion as to what else to put on this site but you don't have to it's minor. At a site I was apart of it was an Animaniacs board (the site creator shut it down because he was too busy with college and other stuff to manage the board itself) we had an off topic board where we could review movies, tv shows or just talk about stuff that was irrelevant to the site topic itself which was Animaniacs. On your site I see you have a Disney Movies and TV show board (naturally because of course this is a Disney site) but could you have a board revolving around shows and movies that are not related to Disney? That would be awesome if you made that addition to the site because it would be nice..but again it was a suggestion and if you don't go through with it I totally understand. Thanks in advance . |
