Really? Whoops my bad lol. I suppose I assumed it was made by Tim Burton because he helped make the Nightmare before Christmas and it had a similar style to it. Thats okay. Its a common mistake a lot of people make. Anywho, when I first saw the trailers and clips for this movie, I thought Flynn was gonna be a total jerk (he just seemed so pompous and full of himself like a second rate Gaston), but thankfully it turns out he's pretty much a nerd with security issues.

Yeah but I think I still like the name Flynn Rider than Eugene lol

I'd have to side with Rapunzel, I think Eugene is better; I find hot guys with awkward sounding names to be a bit appealing (Heck, they even named the main character in How to Train Your Dragon Hiccup and he's gotten a lot of fangirls).

Well I like Hiccup for his personality and am still not fond of that name either lol

Well what are you gonna do when you live on an Island where everyone names their babies after weird and gross things like Hiccup, Snotlout, Fishlegs, etc? ...Well, I guess change your name, but hey, its not suppose to be taken that seriously.
Anywho, back on topic. After going to see the movie, my mom and I went to the Toys R Us next door to look at some merchandise and it seems the Maximus toys are a hit there.
Also, I'm a little confused about Pascal the chameleon... what purpose did he serve in the movie? I knows he's suppose to be a pet, but other than hang around Rapunzel I don't understand whats relevant about him.

I think he is supposed to be a sidekick like Maximus and help provide a little comedic relief to the movie

I guess, though Maximus seems to steal the show more (my mom won't stop talking about how much he reminds her of one of her horses).

I'm probably the last one here who saw the movie kinda late yesterday but I gotta agree with you guys, the film was wonderful! I've even saw some comments from people that mention Tangled is their new favorite and a replacement from their old favorites lol
And you know for a greedy bad guy, Mother Gothel has the best singing voice I've heard in the history of disney villains!

I'm very disappointed in the HFPA. They chose a song from "Burlesque" over "I See the Light" for Best Song; I wasn't expecting "Tangled" to win Best Animated Film, but how could you choose Cher over Alan Menken?
Seriously, does this song sound like anything on par with "I See the Light"?:

Ugh! As if it hasn't been anymore worse, Tangled lost against for Burlesque AND Toy Story 3. But I can't really comment on a thing for Burlesque yet since I haven't seen it yet. My mom says it's already playing at the dollar theater now, but maybe I will wait til I see it from Netflix or Redbox.
Anyway, I was in a real shocker too. I almost thought Tangled was so close to winning for best song, but the one that Cher sings, well....it's Cher. What can you do about it? Everyone has love her for a really long long time and she's come so far too.
The song you show us so far isn't that bad, but I'm not so keen on Cher that much. I still believe Tangled's song I See The Light is better.

Now I know how the South Park creators felt when they lost the oscar in 1999 to Phil Collins.
I've sent the HFPA a letter expressing my disappointment. If anyone else wants to join me on this protest, feel free to do so.

Didn't South Park made fun of Phil Collins at one point? I was told by a friend they did and he's a big fan of Collins' work. I guess that must of been their way back to get revenge at him for losing out 12 years ago.

Yeah, they poked fun at him on the show. It wasn't that they really hated him or anything, it just that they were expecting to lose, but not to Phil Collins.

UGH! I can't believe YouTube removed the Japanese trailer for this movie; that was the best one, and Fluttershy here agrees with me.
