I'm putting it here in crossovers, because while it's disneyish...it also involves a fictional real life thing, so..xD Yeah.
Allow me to elaborate on the plot:
This is set in the Disney theme parks. In florida.
When the lights go off and the park is locked for the night, the magic becomes real. Animatronics spring to life and walk away from their themed rides. Costumed 'actors' never go home- because they're already there. Famous characters patrol the streets- and with the blending of themes- animals, ghosts, patriotic and international figures, etc all come together and..basically, live.
Of course, there are some real, 'normal' people- workers at the parks, maintenance workers too, privileged enough to have shifts at night. Their job is essentially to keep the secret a secret, by keeping non-employees or employees that DON'T know out of the parks at night, and keeping all the characters in. It's a pretty decent job for them, especially since they get to see the magic first hand and interact with all the various characters.
Normally, things go pretty smoothly...But there is one time of year when this job becomes taxing. Halloween.
The energy level is high at this time, ghosts from the urban legends and spooky characters, including villains, are out and about with a nice dose of power on this evening. And, some of them desire nothing more than to cause trouble or break free of the parks and roam about. Halloween has a special type of energy about it, and is that ONE time where- if one of the characters escaped, they could stay alive, 'real', etc away from the park's magic. Permanently. All other times, they would return to what they were ( like in night at the museum), or something like get so tired and drained of energy they returned if they escaped.
Anywho, you get the general idea, right?
The setting would be right at lock up time on Halloween. PRETEND IT'S EARLY, I KNOW THEY'D PROBABLY STAY OPEN MAYBE ALL NIGHT IRL. THIS IS FICTION.
Workers who get the coveted night shift are preparing for another trying Halloween of dealing with the more restless residents, some people outside of the park who have heard stories about strange things on Halloween will be trying to get in, some characters will be trying to get out, and it'll just be chaotic.
You can be:
A- one of the night shift workers. All human, please.
B- One of the curious people trying to get in to see if stories of weird things and ghosts are true. Human also
or
C- one of the magical residents. You have free reign here. Ocs are just fine if you really want them. Animatronics in the park work too, you can choose cultural types from any of the epcot places, princesses or princes, animals, any canon character there you want.
We do have need for some of the more restless ones. Like spooks and ghouls, or the villains. =P
I'd be starting eventually.
oh, and, patience please. I know it's bad for me to start this anyway, because I tend to not reply that fast in the first place- but with school, transferring, and more job hunting I probably will be slower.
So, I either want to impose a posting order to be followed. Or, simply, I beg for patience from any potential joiners and that you won't jump ahead 3 pages or more without me.
