( lol, naah. I don't think there'd have been problems. I IZ READY TO BEGIN.)
" Time to party."
Annie smirked to herself as she closed up the bakery, glad to see the tourists already heading out of the park. The sun had mostly set by now, bathing the sky in a myriad of colors- including a long strip of orange, almost as if acknowledging what was coming.
Today was Halloween. The various parks had gone to extensive lengths to make this clear- spiderweb decorations all over the buildings, darker costumes being worn, parades, grinning jack-o-lanterns everywhere...
Annie sighed. She loved the park when it was like this, and almost wished that every day could be Halloween. Though, unlike children who wished for such things, she was old enough to understand the repercussions.
Besides, the residents got the most restless on all Hallow's eve. She loved to see some of them and prove how 'brave' she was by befriending them, but boy...Between the Headless Horseman, ghosts, zombies, skeleton pirates, and other evil characters, things got crazy.
" As long as nobody gets in," she chanted to herself.
If anybody did manage to break in, then things would take an interesting turn. And probably not for the best. Annie grimaced at the thought of what might happen. People would come in and probably be quite pleased with themselves at first- then they would see the characters, maybe even think they were costumed workers having some sort of party. And then, when one of the villainous characters decided to make it obvious, in order to have a little fun...All hell would break loose.
"Might keep them out at least," she muttered to herself darkly. As long as the nosy people who broke in didn't get hurt, then...being scared wouldn't be such a bad thing, at least in her opinion. Sure, they could squeal on the secret...but who would believe them?
Annie frowned a little as she was reminded of the fact nearly everybody had some kind of video recording system these days. Weird or not, any video evidence could prove incriminating. Thus, they had to do everything in their power to keep anybody out. Nobody had broken in for ages, but the last time somebody had....They'd spread stories of the Haunted Mansion. Now there were urban legends there, and nearly everywhere to deal with. Barely anybody outside thought they were true, but still..It encouraged curiosity. Annie did feel bad not everybody could know, but...She recalled how hard to understand this had been for her at first, and all the questioning about how any of this were possible was not something she or anybody else wanted to deal with.
The keys to the bakery were shoved into a hidden pocket in her gothic, old Americana wardrobe and started off down the roads. She was planning on checking in at the nearest work station to see where she was needed the most tonight, and to prepare for the inevitable problems between 'good' and 'evil' residents of the Magic Kingdom park. Night had already taken over most of the sky by now, so it was of the utmost importance she hurried.
" At least there's free candy."
((lolol, kinda a bad intro. bring in your chars wherever you want them. I will be playing a resident or two as well. ))
