I'm surprised there isn't a topic for this yet and I'm probably the only one on this site who went to go see it this weekend instead of Harry Potter despite this being a Disney forum.
Anywho, I enjoyed it; anyone at age will probably enjoy watching this too. Its simple, well animated, great songs, delightful characters, and lots of nostalgia to go around.

I was waiting to see if someone was gonna post this up for us! lol! And no; your not really the only one who saw it. I saw it too the day it came out when I took my little twin cousins to go watch it with me. I liked it, despite the short 45 mins it was. The only change I didn't like was everyone got from the cast got replaced expect for Jim Cummings, but I'm over it. Piglet's voice took the longest for me to accept since John Fiedler passed away 6 years ago. (The way he talks in My Friends Tigger & Pooh is very scratchy to me) What I never understood was the eye change they did on Christopher Robin, and not only that, they made him sound like Lumpy from Pooh's Heffalump Movie But what's interesting about Eeyore's new voice actor in this one was....he was play by that jackalope who appear in that Pixar short called Boundin'. (I knew I had recognize it somewhere!)

The only change I didn't like was everyone got from the cast got replaced expect for Jim Cummings, but I'm over it. Well a lot of it had to do with the fact that a lot of the voice actors are either dead or doing other projects around that time (I bet you didn't know that Peter Cullen, the guy who usially does Eeyore's voice is also the voice of Optimus Prime).

Well as far as I know other than John Fiedler being dead, Paul Winchell also died too. (same month but on a different day.)
And what? OMG! Your right. I just saw it from Wikipedia just now! Whoa! Talk about scary....that is weird! X3

Say, am I the only one who thinks all the creatures in the Hundred Acre Woods suffer from some sort of mental psychosis? I mean, you've got them freaking out over an imaginary monster, Pooh having hallucinations for honey, Eeyore who's constantly depressed, Owl who has delusions of his own grander, etc. I don't want to destroy anyone's childhood by mentioning this, not even mine, but I could help but think the movie's plot came from another movie about patients who escape from a mental hospital and having them overreact to everything in the outside world.
I'm telling you, Disney films don't get that much more innocent as you grow older. OO;;

LMAO! I don't know if I should answer that. We're talking about something that's lean towards younger children

I know, but I can't help but make up innuendos and backstories to these kinds of things; I'm that immature.

I haven't had any time to see any movies in theaters unfortunately not too mention it would cost almost 30 bucks just for me to buy a ticket to see either Winnie the Pooh or Harry Potter so I am waiting til they go to the cheaper theater to see them both.

Winnie the Pooh was practically my childhood, because I collected the entire New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh on VHS and I used to watch them all the time, so I'm glad Pooh is making a comeback, but I'm disappointed with the new voices for Rabbit and Owl. I know that this is supposed to be a reboot of the series, and that it's been awhile since I've seen New Adventures, or anything Winnie the Pooh for that matter, but I don't remember Owl and Rabbit's voices sounding like they do in the trailers, and I don't think they had to sound all that much different for this movie, because I'm sure Disney could've found better matches for their voices, and this is the only reason that's keeping me from getting excited about seeing this movie in theaters, but I would love to see it when it comes out on DVD and I can check it out through my local library.

Well to be fair to replacing Andre Stojka with Craig Ferguson, he was busy at the time doing work for "Adventures in Odyssey". Why they replaced Ken Samson with Tom Kenny is unknown. Granted, I was a little put off at first by the voice changes, especially hearing Rabbit sound like Spongebob Squarepants, but I've gotten past it and the characters were so well written and true to their spirits that I heard more Rabbit and Owl talking than just Tom Kenny and Craig Ferguson.

The voice changes don't bother me too much as for most disney movies including sequels it never bothered me before.

I know they had to get different voices for the sequels, but I don't think most of them were as noticeable as Owl and Rabbit's voices.

Eeyore's voice change is actually pretty noticeable as well, in fact the new voice actor, Bud Luckey, has actually done a number of movie voices for Pixar.

That's very true Albinotanuki. However I still stand by my words of the voice changes not bothering me at all lol. I am just happy the film is in 2D instead of 3D and the characters personalities are still exactly the same is all.
