Still behind, Hubie joined in after Rocko, but he check back every 10 seconds to make sure that his pebble was still in the tight knot of his scarf as they swam off.

Rocko wasn't sure how far they would have to go to find a new home but he was determined to keep going without stopping until they found it.

By the time they were already in the waters, it gotten dark and heavily thunder was already making a rumbling shake upon the dark clouds too. As the two penguins kept on swimming, one of the lightning bolts almost strike up behind Hubie, leaving him scare and swimming for his life that he accidentally slam right into Rocko.

"Watch it!" Rocko yelled after Hubie swam straight into him as he did well to avoid being hit by any lightning from the storm.

That rest of the night wasn't not that easy to pass by, but eventually, Hubie and Rocko made it up north as they storm was only about to get in more worse for the rest of those hours. Shelter was another tough shell they had to find to get some rest.
No more longer than 14 hours, a new day rose up and Rocko and Hubie were still sound asleep just snoring off. But then suddenly, something touch on one of Hubie's feet and the next thing he had known, he had found himself slipping and screaming down a small snowy hill. There he made an urge crash and came face to face that was known to be one of the penguin's worst enemies; a seal.
Fear was already striking up in Hubie's blue eyes. "ROCKO!!!!!" He screamed for his buddy's name. But the seal with a bright beaming smile, grabbed the knot on Hubie's scarf and toss him up playfully into the air. The pebble was released out from the scarf when they knot came out loose and Hubie crashed landed in top of the snow. The pebble in between Hubie's rough landing and the young seal right away, scooped it up with his mouth. Giggling, he gave away a chase.
"Hey! Give it back you b-b-big bully!" Hubie glared and follows after the seal.

Rocko jumped awake when Hubie yelled his name before yelling "You'd better have a good reason for waking me up or I'll-" He stopped when he noticed the leopard seal pup.
For a moment his eyes went wide in shock but he quickly shook his head to snap out of it and sliding down towards them on his belly he ran behind Hubie grabbing his flipper in a tight grip stopping him from chasing the seal pup. "Just what do you think you're doing?! Do you know what that is?! That's a seal pup!"

"But but...my pebble! He has my p-p-pebble!!" Hubie pointed a flipper at the young seal pup who didn't really get too far away from him or Rocko. The seal pup rested down on his back and tosses the pebble up and down and circles it around it's flippers like a cat enjoying a ball of yarn.

Many times he was always told by Rocko to forget about the pebble or leave it behind after it had always almost cost up their own lives for being close to leopard seals and killer whales, but after losing his home, his friends and his family, the pebble was the only thing that Hubie can hold onto for dear life and of all of the reminders of his loved ones.
"Is that so?" Hubie says glaring back at the grumpy rockhopper. He always held back on his personal own feelings, and Hubie was not the kind of guy who would dare to try and get angry with someone, but he couldn't say no to losing his pebble over to a young little leopard pup seal.
Hubie was gonna go over and face the young seal on his own, but the minute he took in a couple of stomping feets, the leopard seal was already up in front of him back with the pebble in his mouth. "AAAHH!!" Hubie yelled and ran backwards, almost nearly slamming down Rocko.

Rocko got back up to his feet and glared at Hubie for bumping into him yet again.
He knew Hubie wasn't gonna give up on the pebble after all the things he did to keep it though Rocko still didn't understand what was so great about a small green blasted pebble.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but stay back." He grumbled angrily as he walked over towards the leopard seal pup.

Hubie froze in his spot where he was left, wondering how long Rocko was gonna hold off the seal pup for him to get back the pebble. But before Rocko could even dare to try and say anything or make a move on him, the leopard seal pup walk around by Rocko to get away from him and waddle towards Hubie, dropping the pebble down and pushing it up besides him.
"Uhh...-t-t-thank you?" Hubie says, picking up the pebble slowly without looking away from the leopard seal. The young seal pup barked happily and flap his big heavy fin up. He circled around Hubie barking cheerfully, waiting for him to do something with the pebble. Hubie wasn't understanding this seal's oddly strange behavior. What did he wanted him to do? He just stood there and stare at how it was acting around him.
"What is he doing!!??" Hubie whispered loudly over to Rocko who couldn't seem to move away from the young seal pup's surroundings over him.

Rocko stared in surprise by the seal pup's strange and friendly behavior. "Obviously this seal is a bit-" He stopped gesturing with his flipper that the seal was insane or something.

OOC: I LOL so bad when you had that written down with the gesture thing  BIC: Hubie didn't get the gesture behind Rocko, but insane wasn't the kind of word he wanted to find in the seal without being so mean to it. "Now look here, I--" He started to say by lifting up a pointed finger in the air, trying to act a bit firm with the opponent, but he stop after taking a look at the leopard seal's big dark clear eyes. The leopard seal had already stop shortly in front of the penguin with a glistening shine look to it. Clearly, Hubie was falling way too overly flat by the pup's cuteness. "I uhh...." Hubie try shaking it off. "N-no! Don't! Don't give me that....look." He try looking away, but he couldn't refuse as he bit his lower lip. Hubie can see from his eyes that the leopard seal was no ordinary seal. Or else they would of been eaten if he had gotten his chance, but they weren't. |

Rocko wasn't falling for the seal's cute sad puppy dog eye looks like Hubie was as he walked over grabbing Hubie's flipper turning to leave dragging Hubie with him.
"You got your blasted pebble back so now we're leaving."
