Pebble and the Penguin roleplay

Since there hasn't been any related roleplays to The Pebble and the Penguin, I came up with one. Now the trouble that appears to this film that since there aren't a whole lot of characters to share, our lists of picking which one to roleplay will be very shortly unless an OC is brought up to one, which is why I already created myself my very own one since yesterday.

And since Drake already died at the end of the movie, he won't be needed for this roleplay. It will be just Rocko, Hubie, Marina and the 8 little penguin children. Now they don't have any names, so we may as well just make up our own for now if we choose to play them.

I'm going to be Hubie and my OC Spotty while Katie gets to be Rocko.

Thanks Katie. I'm glad you like him! He came into my dreams last night when I was thinking about Rocko and Hubie

So how should we start? You first or me?

Why don't you start us off Nadine? Lol

OOC: I know. It was so last minute, but that's what I get for re-newing my love for an old movie like that hehe XP

Okay sure why not? I'll start us off if you like.

BIC: It was late and as the sun was still brightly colored in the bright yellowy sky, Hubie was racing his best friend Rocko in the waters to see who would get back to Marina and the other penguins first.

"Last one back fetches the entire creche and rookery fish for an entire week!" Rocko tells Hubbie as the two of them continued racing towards the water.

OOC: A creche is what they call a group of penguin babies and a rookery is what they call a large group of penguins by the way

OOC: And now I know hehe! Thanks for the tipping info Katie. I never would of guess that ^^

BIC: "Your on!!" Hubie says back to Rocko as they went on with their racing, but as they were almost there just one more mile away, a rattling of rumble shook the waters and back at their old home, ice was shaking everywhere. All of the penguins had to flee away to make it out and rescue each other, including their loved ones.

A shore of high waters was gaining in and slammed Hubie down underneath. He was almost knock out of conscious, but the penguin shooked himself awake and reach up to the surface. "Rocko!! Hey Rocko!" He called out who seem to lost sight of the rockhopper. The tide was getting in stronger and he had to go swim away to find his friend.

OOC: Yeah I just looked it up and found it out lol

BIC: For several seconds Rocko hadn't resurfaced above the water before he quickly popped up beside Hubie. "Come on we have to reach the others!" He tells Hubie loudly to be heard over all the water and shaking.

OOC: You're smart. You should be our animal researcher. You sure you don't work at a zoo or an aquarium?

BIC: Hubie had no time to make a comment, but he agreed and followed right after Rocko when he got found by him. He swam closely behind the other penguin, but the minute later after they got back to where all of the crushed ice was, there were too late. There was nobody there. Hubie raised up out of the waters and hurriedly scammed around the areas. "Marina!!" He called out trying to find his mate, but the place was left abandoned like a dry up desert.

OOC: Yes I'm sure lol XD

BIC: Rocko quickly joined Hubie helping him look before stopping and turning to face Hubie knowing he would need to tell his friend, who was still desperately searching, the truth.

"It's no good. They're gone." He told him

OOC: Dawww sad post! And for the record, I don't hate Marina, but what was I suppose to do with a short list of less characters?

BIC: Hubie didn't wanna believe the truth words outta Rocko's mouth. Crazy as it may of seem, he had to keep looking. There had to be at least one surviving penguin, young or old he didn't care. But there was not a single trace of a body anywhere. It was clear as the nose from Hubie's bill that indeed Rocko was right. Everyone Hubie knew and love were gone. Maybe evenly gone for good. Highly forever.

Even the place where Hubie used to do his thinking was crushed to pieces from the rumbling shakes. Hubie waddled over to his favorite spot and to take a seat, but a hard hold pin up against his tail forcing him to jump back up. He look down and there saw a shimmering green shine bury from the dirty tiny stones and the white cold snow. Hubie dig it out and there he found it; his pebble. The very thing he had owned for so long til he had given it to Marina as the traditional way of penguins giving their loved ones a stone to their loved ones for the mating seasons.

Hubie sat back down and look hard at the pebble in his flippers, waiting and hoping and wondering that this cold green thing would be to be the answer to finding out what happened with everyone, including his family, but nothing. Nothing was there.

Rocko stood in silence at the scene of disaster all around him. He could see no trace of dead bodies which made the terrible scene a little easier to witness but whether they were gone or just gone forever was uncertain.

He hid his sorrow well as he walked up to Hubie placing one flipper gently on his friends shoulder. "We've got to keep moving, if we stay here we're as good as dead either by Killer Whales or Leopard Seals."

Dangers of killer whales and leopard seals were the last thing on Hubie's mind as it was brought up to Rocko, but staying around to his now destroy home wasn't gonna make any changes or bring back the rest of the other penguins. Hubie tied the pebble inside a knot from his yellow scarf to keep it safe and followed behind Rocko. "But where can we g-g-go?" He asks soon as they were making their way out.

"We'll look for a new home heading further north." Rocko tells him. "We'll be sure to find something further that way."

"Okay..." Hubie says though the tone of his voice was uncertain if they'll find anything they would called a home of their own.
