Once they reached HQ Chip and Gadget ran inside. "Okay what happened?' Chip asks.

Dale ran up to Chip and Gadget. "Oh finally you guys are here. Okay here's what happened...... So me and Scooter were watching cartoons right? So I get up because Monty needed my help in the kitchen . I return and here is what I find." Dale hands Chip a mysterious ransom note.
"Oh, chip what are we gonna do"? Gadget asked worriedly

Chip takes the note and looks it over for a moment. "We'll need to form a plan and rescue Scooter." He says.

Chip was just about to answer her when the phone rang and he walked over picking it up and answering it. "Hello?"

"Hello there Chip" Came a deep voice from the phone. "If you haven't noticed all ready I have a very important family member of yours." The deep voice said.
"CHIP HELP ME" Cries Scooter in the background.
"Meet me at the dark Alley across the street from the headquarters and bring 10,000 dollars oh, and come alone or the kid dies. Don't keep me waiting Chip"

Chip glared as he hung up the phone. "That was the kidnapper. He says he wants me to meet him alone in a dark alley across the street from his headquaters with 10,000 dollars." He tells the others.

When Scooter walks in looking all banged up.
"How did you get free"? Dale asked surprised.
"I still don't fully remember" Scooter said
Gadget hugs Scooter tightly.
"Well you're ok and your safe that's all that matters" Gadget said.
