"We'd better have a guard watching over Scooter for now. Just in case the guy or guys come back. We all take turns guarding Scooter. Scooter, please go to your room. You can watch TV or do whatever you want in there" Dale said as Scooter went to his room . Dale grabbed a chair and sat down by Scooter's room door.

Chip was both really surprised and even impressed with watching Dale stop acting goofy and become serious and take charge of the situation at hand.

"Ohhhhhh Dale I am so proud of you" Gadget said giving Dale a hug.
Dale's cheeks blushed a big red.
"Well whenever you get tired just call us and we will take over for you mate" Jack said
Gadget walks back to Chip and gives him a kiss on the cheek

Gadget giggles and blushes as Chip kisses her. Dale got up and took a deep breath as he saw saw Chip walking over thinking Chip was gonna yell at him about something.

Chip nodded. "Yep. We've decided to give you a day off of your choosing to do whatever you want no questions asked since you've been working hard and done a good job and deserve it."

Dale smiles and leaps out of the chair with a big smile and picks up Chip in a really big hug. "Thank you so much Chip" Dale said happily.
