"Yes " Merlin agrees. She picks Jay up gently. She starts carry him back to the others. She walks Jay towards a Den.

"Go ahead and put him into our den. He'll rest easier in there and it'll be easier for us to keep an eye on him.' Zedd told her.

Merlin nods in agreement. She walks into the Den carrying Jay with her. She gently lays him down and laid beside Jay to keep him warm. It was the mother side of her.

"Merlin? Why don't you go keep an eye on the pups, I'll stay with Jay." Morgana spoke as she stood in front of the den entrance.

Morgana lied down next to Jay grooming his head as he slept beside her. "You're going to be alright." She whispered to him. Mother instinct taking over as well.
Jake couldn't help but stare with bristling jealousy. Why was his mother acting like that? Yes she loved all the pups but surely she didn't love this pup more than she loved him right?

Jake couldn't help but cheer up a little at that. Even if his mother was preoccupied with the new pup his father wasn't.
