I wanted to create an RP that is in the show's midway point between the second and third season and again as with most of my RPs I wanted to create a truly maniacal villian. I will play this character in the RP (again name, backstory, etc. to be revealed within the story) along with Sokka since I also like to play comic relief characters too. Again I'll point out this RP will be a little darker than the series (although Avatar did get kind of dark with the killing and all).
Aang- Me
Katara- Meg1
Villian- Me
Sokka- Me
Toph- Meg1
Zuko- The Ice Queen
Azula- Meg1
Other characters will be played by myself if the need arises.

The Fire Lord Ozai sat at his throne as the Fire Nation soldiers looked around in mild disinterest. Suddenly a strange man entered the throne room however the guards didn't seem nervous at all as if this man had been in there countless times before. The man looked at Fire Lord Ozai and asked him, "Why do you seem so happy?" The Fire Lord answered, "My daughter Azula informs me the Avatar has..." The man interrupted, "She lies or is mistaken! He is alive!" The Fire Lord looked fearful until the man quickly said, "I told you not to send your useless children who have no knowledge of real brutality or power. Only I can defeat the Avatar. Send me out of this city with the full disposal of your soldiers and I will track him down myself. It was what I was born for afterall. You do this for me: Any law in the Fire Nation that prohibits the wanton killing of women and children or the razing of villiages, abolish it!" Even the guards in the throne room grew uneasy at this man's cruelty as he continued, "I will be back after my task is accomplished to help you create the comet, just as I helped your grandfather create the first one a century ago." The Fire Lord said, "My friend! My general! My Lord! Please stop any resistance at me being the ruler of all!" The soldiers looked quite confused at the Fire Lord's behavior as the man continued, "I want you to know that women and children will be killed with their blood seeping into the grounds! On my orders great beasts will raze citites to the ground and the populace will live in fear and misey until all will know pain and destruction! HAHAHA!" Suddenly the man opened his hands as it seemed he was bending all 4 elements.

OOC: I will go ahead and start the story now since Aang is unconscious. If anyone wants to take him and Zuko they are still able to.
BIC: Inside the city of Ba Sing Se the strange man quickly shouldered his way past the Fire Nation soldiers and went towards Azula holding a piece of paper which showed orders from the Fire Lord himself. He quickly said, "Your father and I have talked and under this consideration you are hereby relieved of tracking down the Avatar. You did not kill the Avatar. He is still alive somewhere. You however are not worthy to fight such a powerful foe, only I can. I am taking command of this division of soldiers and as for you, you can choose to be either second-in-command or you can take command of another division to fight off other resistance, however I alone will fight the Avatar." He paused, "If you stay in this division I want you to know that under my counsel your father has abolished all remaining laws of the Fire Nation which regards the deliberate killing of women and children and the entire destruction of cities. The Fire Nation has entered total war and will use the most brutal methods against her foes and innocent women and children will die soon to coax the Avatar out."

"Who the heck do you think you are?" Azula snarls as she stood right up from her seat. Fire glows in her hand. " You have no right to do what is and will always be my duty!!"

The man simply used waterbending on her hand, glowing with fire, and her face as he said, "Simmer down." He then said, "If you know who I was you wouldn't treat me in such an unkind way, considering all the debts your family owes me. Now stand aside and calm down," as he pushed her back in her chair, "if you have a problem with it go complain to your father, since it is his orders." He then said, "Only I have the power to destroy him. He will be easy to kill this time since he's just a little boy crying out for mommy and daddy hahaha. He's a weak and cowardly pacifist Air-Bender and would never try to kill me."

Meanwhile Sokka looked at Katara on the Fire Nation cruiser as she just came out from seeing Aang unconscious as he asked her, "Hey Katara you never told me what happened back there in Ba Sing Se? I mean...I didn't know Aang could be hurt when he does his magicy blue bubble thing..."

The man simply laughed as he said, "Are you sure?" as he suddenly bended all three of the other elements. He then said, "So you see? Only a man, like myself that can bend all four elements, can fight the Avatar on an equal footing." He then said, "I've been tired of discussing this," as he looked towards the other Fire Nation soldiers, "You see your orders right here from the Fire Lord himself," as he showed them the piece of paper, "Troops move out!" He then looked at Azula and said, "Look how about we just forget about the Avatar right this second. I am here to destroy Earth Kingdom towns and kill everyone in them."

Sokka paused as he said, "I uh...I mean I wouldn't worry Katara. I mean Aang has been through wierder stuff before." He suddenly went on deck as he saw fire in the distance at an Earth Kingdom villiage. He quickly looked towards Katara and Toph, "Look! Over there! The Fire Nation has attacked another Earth Kingdom villiage! Should we stop...and uh I mean...there has to be someone we can help or something we should do."

After a visit with his uncle, Zuko heard the news about this strange man who had been visiting his father. The truth came out. The Avatar was not dead. Zuko knew he made a terrible mistake by betraying his uncle. The truth should have come out sooner or later.
He was glad his sister wasn't around. She would probably shove the news down his throat. The Prince took a deep breath as he walked back in forth thinking about what he should do. He couldn't face his father, that was for sure.
A few guards walked by and Zuko overheard them talking.
"Have you heard about the Laws? Firelord Ozai has abolished them!" One of them said. "Oh really? Well that would teach them not to mess with the Fire nation heh!" he other followed.
Zuko just watched them. "Which laws?" He suddenly asked them. They looked at him, then back to eachtother, as if they weren't sure if they should tell. "Well?!" Zuko said louder.
"The law which protected the women and children." One of them said. "Killing them isn't a crime now. " Zuko's eyes went bigger. "And we can destroy the cities."the other said. Zuko couldn't believe his ears. Has his father really just done it. The hatred even grew towards his father although he had everything he ever wanted on this moment.
"Thank you. Now go on with your work."The Fire prince said and he walked away.
He had to get out of here, he had to find a way to stop this.

Before Zuko could go any further 10 Fire Nation guards quickly surrounded him and said, "Fire Lord Ozai requests your presence at once!" After they quickly forced him into a meeting with the Fire Lord, Ozai quickly showed his displeasure with speaking in a low, dangerous monotone, "My friend has told me you failed me. The Avatar is still alive. You're good for absolutely nothing. You can't do anything right can you, young prince?" saying that title with displeasure. "I want you to know that I never wanted you as a son since you were always a failure in my eyes, while your sister had the real talent. You can thank your mother, who is no longer here, for me putting up with you this long." He paused, "Luckily I have a real friend and general now who will kill the Avatar for me. His power is unimaginable. He will have no trouble killing the Avatar and then the Fire Nation will be supreme. You however will not witness glory, only humiliation in a locked cell."

"Don't you dare!" he hissed at the guards, and tried to free himself, but before he knew he was in a room with his so called father.
When his father named his mother his face was filled with hate. Zuko looked at his father, fully disgusted. "You have no idea how powerfull our Avatar is do you. Have you ever witnessed his power, 'Father'?" Zuko took a deep breath and made a sudden move, making a swirl of fire around him, making the guards back down. It didn't took him long for them to be knocked out, not with his anger he felt right now. The adrenaline was rushing through his blood. Slowly he stepped forward.
"I'm not afraid of you. And I guess we have something in common. I never wanted you as a father either. You are a disgrace to the Fire nation. Have you gone really that low?" Every word Zuko spoke was filled with hatred.
"I won't back down from this. I know my destiny now. I was there all along, but I wanted to please you. I wanted my honour. But no matter what, I knew I would never get it from you. No matter what I did. It was all about your precious daughter. But she will fall, just like you will."

Fire Lord Ozai quickly laughed, "Well since you've gone from a failure to full-blown traitor I'll give you a message you can pass to 'your' Avatar. Let him know that outside the Fire Nation right now his most powerful foe soon will await him and will stop him. I want you to know young prince of the fate of your mother. You see the one who is to face the Avatar now was my father Lord Azulon's advisor. After that night where we entertained him, I tried to make my gesture to be the next in line for Fird Lord after your Uncle Iroh lost the battle and his son. Fire Lord Azulon instead wished to 'punish me' by killing...you. Your mother however wished to save you so she came up with a plan herself to kill my father and I did so, with this man I am speaking of steeling my resolve on killing the Fire Lord. After Fire Lord Azulon passed away he became my advisor. He has been an advisor for the Fire Lords since Fire Lord Sozin and created the comet for him to start the war. He advised me to abolish the laws protecting innocent civilians and he will kill them to lure the Avatar to him. I think he's more than a match for 'your' Avatar but you can go ahead and tell the Avatar yourself after you cowardly run away from your Fire Lord. Or do you have the courage to fight me?"

Zuko couldn't believe his eyes. Memories of his mother came in. But there was no time to think of that.
"You are not my Fire Lord. Mark my words. I will take my rightful place as FireLord when this is over. The Avatar will defeat that soulless friend of yours. This time you have gone to far."
No matter how badly he wanted to kill his father, he knew he was more worth alive, giving this message towards Aang.
"I'm not the one who should be fighting you. That is not my battle to face. It is the avatar alone who must do so. And I will teach him Fire Bending. That has been my destiny all along. I won't make the same mistake by choosing hate over everything." Zuko said calmly.
He took a fighting stance, but only to send a fire ball at his father, before running away.
'I should be an expert at hunting them down, but right now.. I have no idea where to start.' he thought
