Frodo waved his fist like a cat trying to get something when Merry whisper at him, calling him "Lover boy!" His head shot up when he watch him hid under the covers, but he knew he did that purposely just for a tease. He grabs the pillow he had with him and playfully gives them a good old whack with it and then returns back on the floor to sleep.

The next morning, the gang set out now with Emily joining the team. Everything had gone fine after going a couple of miles until Angel took a sniff of a smelly stink coming from her armpit. "Oh drat! I forgot to bathe before we left the inn!" She says grumpily. "Everyone! Everyone we need to stop!" She announced. Luckily, they stop close enough to reach a lake.

"What for?" Sam asked. Angel got off her horse. "I need to take a bath!"

"Right now?" Sam asked again.
"Yes now! I can't go all the way over to Gondor to meet the king and queen smelling like this! As of now, we are taking a break!" She says. Angel went to go find the nearest boulder next to a large bush that have a tall tree from behind. It was the perfect spot because it was just close enough to get to the lake and get clean. "And NO peeking!" She tells them.

Sam kept his back turn away while he stay with the others. While waiting for Angel, Frodo finished up the last bits of water he drank, but saw that he was now empty. He was the only one who didn't see Angel leaving to go take a bath, but he did spot the lake and decided to go over there to grab more before they were going to continue heading out.

"Mr. Frodo I wouldn't go there if I were you!" Sam warned him. He needed his friend to stay close and not caused anything. He try to stop him as he followed him. "Why? What's out there?" Frodo asked, but then when he got there, he already had saw Angel's bare naked back. Her cloak had now been hanging from a branch on a tree, with her dress laying on top of the boulder.

Frodo can hear the pounding of his heart beating inside of his head as the sound of it raced faster and faster. He clenched on tightly to his clothing, already was he grewing pale and dripping with small drops of sweat as he try keeping his heavy panting under control.

Finally Angel was about to head into the lake for the dip when she saw someone behind her. She turned her head back and saw Frodo. "AAAAAAH!!!" She screamed and duck down covering her chest.
"BAGGINS! I'D SAID NO PEEKING!!" She shouted angerily, but look with a confusing awkward reaction at Frodo when she notice that his legs were crossed too closed to each other.

"What's wrong with you down there?" She had to asked, but Frodo was too speechless to speak. All he did was look down, realizing what she meant, so he lay his hand down on it to cover it. His hormones were acting too crazy.

Sam felt more embarrassed than Frodo did. The situation was getting to be a little bit too personal for him. "COME ON YOU!" He yelled at his friend, so he yanked Frodo on the back of his collar and pulled him away so he could leave Angel alone.

Gandalf could not say he was surprised by the little stunt though he had wished Frodo had taken more heart to his prior warning of putting his feelings for Angel aside until much more appropriate timing.

Emily however had been the only one not to turn around, since she was not a guy like the rest of them and had been about to run after Frodo to stop him when Sam beat her to it.

"Men..." She grumbled rolling her eyes before going to guard Angel while Gandalf sat Frodo down on a boulder to scold him. "I suggest you get control of your hormones and soon, Frodo and I trust you not to pull such a stunt like that again." He kept his voice in a low hush so Emily and Angel would not overhear a few feet away from the lake but firm enough to show he meant what he said and not bothering to hide how disappointed he was at Frodo for the moment.

Meanwhile Emily sat down on a boulder near the lake picking a few plants holding them up with one hand while her other held her long skirt so not to get it completely soaked as she walked a few footsteps into the water to hand the plants to Angel.

"Here. Rub these on yourself. They'll give you a more flowery scent." She told her. "Queen Arwen taught me it before." She added before casting a glance over her shoulder making sure the guys accompanying them had their backs turned to them.

Satisfied, they still did so, she turned back to Angel and asked in a whisper. "What's going on between you and Mr. Baggins, are you....you know-together?" She asked curiously. She had seen the way Frodo blushed and smiled whenever he was around Angel and found it not hard to guess how the hobbit felt around Angel but hadn't yet seen Angel's feelings for Frodo.

"It was an accident Gandalf, I swore!" Frodo replied worriedly. He didn't mean it after all.

"I try to warn you Mr. Frodo!" Sam told him.
"WARN ME? Sam, you did NOT say she was going to bathe!" Frodo glared, but he had another glance over the girls just one more time, but quickly look away. He had to do his best to keep his hormones down very low. Frodo removed his green cape he had wore and ties it around his waist, blocking to where his private area was.

"Oh lords!" Sam grumbles with a facepalm.

Meanwhile back over the lake, Angel look at the nice looking plants Emily had given her. "A flowery scent? Why thank you." She said, taking one of the plants, giving it a quick sniff for a scent. Emily was right about the plants, they did smell very nice. Angel begin to use them til Emily ask the princess if there was a thing going on between her and the hobbit.

Angel was almost flatter by that question, but hid her surprise so it was not to show it. "Together? You mean like together-together? No why? Has he said anything?" She asks her. Maybe she was blinded by the hobbit's feelings, but Angel did had a very suspicious feeling that something was up. Even after the way that last recent stunt just happened.

"Accident or not, it's about time you get your lurching loins back under control. Controlling any wandering thoughts you may have of Princess Angel, would be a good start." Gandalf continued to scold the hobbit.

"No. He hasn't said anything but I've seen the looks he gives you. He clearly likes you, a lot. I was just merely wondering if you happen to reciprocate those feelings, is all." Emily replied with a shrug of her shoulders though she was a little surprised Angel did not notice and guessed that perhaps she figured he was being friendly which could've been an easy mistake she supposed.

She didn't bother mentioning Arwen hadn't been the first to tell her about using flowers to disguise smells, it had actually been her mother but Arwen had shown her what plants to use in Middle Earth since she secretly wasn't from there though she never told anyone but Gandalf that.

Remembering her mother brought a brief sad smile to her face which she quickly hid before Angel could notice. 'Gandalf will keep his promise..I just have to be patient...' She thought to herself fighting her brief feelings of homesickness.

"I will try Gandalf!" Frodo nodded, but it wasn't going to be easy. He couldn't make any promises to the wizard about this.

"He does? His actions has been fairly odd since the day I first met him." Angel said, not even sharing to Emily about the part where he fainted after meeting her and his uncle Bilbo mistaking her as his girlfriend, and then sharing a piece of half apple with her back at the Prancing Pony Inn. As for the returning of the hobbits feelings, the princess did not replied to that. "How do I even begin to answer that?" She thought wondering about it. She could of said no, but that would of been a big lie. If she had said yes, she would of greatly denied it all.

Maybe Emily was just saying that to cover it up, but even so, girls were not too keen on keeping lies like those. Angel was still thinking how to answer Emily's question, but wasn't coming up with anything good to reply about it. She didn't even spotten about Emily being homesick.

"I take it you are not sure on your feelings for him. Perfectly understandable especially since you have not known one another long I imagine. I'm sure I'd feel the same way if I were in your place." She replied. She did not judge Angel given she herself had never had anyone show any interest in her until she had met the hobbits, Merry and Pippin, just the night before which she felt flattered by but certainly wouldn't want to get inbetween the two of them and would feel terrible if she did so.

"Forgive me if I am being far too personal, but I am sure you can agree with me that it's nice to have another girl to talk to." She added. "Not that the guys aren't great, they are, but there are just some things you can't really talk with them about." She had to admit to herself she rather enjoyed Angel's company regardless of the fact that each girl hardly knew the other. It reminded her of all the time she would spend with her cousin Erynn talking and sharing secrets and so on.

Angel still did not replied back, given that Emily can now see how the princess must of felt. Angel continued bathing as she listened Emily continued talking.

Angel stop for a minute and given Emily a kind gesturing smile. "There's no need to forgive." She mentions to her. She didn't find anything personal about it at all. Safe to say, Angel felt the same way about the girl bonding. And she understand how it's like between the opposite of sex. Some you can share with, but not everything.

"Indeed, I am glad you came. I haven't had this much fun bonding with another girl since...." Angel paused, trying to think when was the last time she ever hung out with a girl. Then it hit her; the only girl she was ever best friends with was with her twin sister, before she turn evil. Reflecting back on those memories made the poor princess felt sad.

Angel try to shake those thoughts out. "Ahem! I should....get out now." She tells Emily making her way out of the water, but had to double make sure the guys weren't still watching. Angel used the cloak she left on the tree branch and used it as a towel to wipe herself clean. After she was dry, she gets her dress and shoes back on.

Emily stood in front of Angel to cover her from view once she stepped out of the water to quickly dry herself off and slip her clothes back on. Once the girl was completely dressed she turned back to the guys' direction and called "It's okay, you can look now." noticing they still all had their backs to them out of respect.

She smiled that Angel did not take offense to her curiosity but she wasn't about to push it by questioning the gloves she wore all the time. For all she knew it might've been something of sentimental value or perhaps a secret that was meant to stay just that, a secret.

"Shall we be off now?" Gandalf asked them.

She nodded gesturing for the wizard to lead the way walking alongside Angel taking in the scenery as she knew they would in a couple days time reach the great white city of Gondor.

After several days of travelling they soon approached the gates to be welcomed by Gimli, Aragorn, and Legolas who had been alerted to their arrival by a border patrol that had spotted them making their way for the city.

"Well I didn't think we'd be seeing you lot for quite a while." Gimli spoke warmly as he greeted the companions.

"It is good to see you all again. I believe the last time we last were together was for Sam's wedding. Tell me, Sam, how are you enjoying the married life? I trust all is well in the Shire." Aragorn added after hugging each of the companions except for Angel who he did not know but gave a respectful smile and bow to. He would've kissed her hand but noticing Gandalf mouthing 'do not do it' to him behind her, he did not do so.

"To whom do I owe the pleasure?" He asked Angel before turning to Emily and kissing her hand added "It is good to see you again Emily."

Trying not blush, Emily smiled. "Yes you too Mi'lord." She spoke. She found Aragorn to be quite handsome and very charming but respected the fact that he was a happily married man and did nothing to ruin that.

Legolas remained where he stood giving a small polite hello to everyone except Emily whom he glared at to which she easily returned the glare walking past him to slap him in the face with her long brown hair with a smirk on her face.

"If you'll excuse me." He spoke to Gandalf and the others before chasing after Emily to which she ran knowing the fact she'd never be able to outrun the elf but that did not stop her from trying.

"You'll have to excuse them, those two have had a hatred for each other since the moment they met." Gandalf apologized to Angel for Legolas' and Emily's behavior after shaking his head disapprovingly at their behavior.

He glared at Aragorn and Gimli when they laughed at hearing a off screen splash and girlish scream they knew to have come from Emily at Legolas taking his revenge after easily catching the girl and pushing her into the fountain in revenge.

"I would think that Legolas would've learned to not show such behavior after growing up with Arwen and constantly squabbling with her." Gandalf muttered. He was not as amused as Gimli and Aragorn were at the behavior clearly.

"It's wonderful! I feel like the luckiest hobbit in Middle Earth." Sam replies to Aragorn with a smiled.

The others look with caution, even Angel too when Aragorn when he was going to kiss her hand, but thanks to Gandalf, it didn't happened and the princess was relief.

"Well you see--" Angel begin to say, but was cut off shortly watching in utter shock as the elf and lady begin their feud thus ending. Disappointment from their unlikely behavior, the princess went over to help Emily out of the fountain. "That is NO way to behave towards each other when you have company!" She glared at them, but her reaction didn't last long when she lock eyes at Legolas.

"Oh...hello there!" She flirted at the elf, twirling a piece of her hair with just her index finger. Frodo who saw this happening, turned into ragely jealously. "What on earth does she think she's doing?!!?" He growled.

"Uh-oh! I know that look! That's the face of jealously!" Sam whispers to the others who took notice of this.

"If I had to guess, I'd say flirting with the elf." Gimli commented to Frodo not quite realizing that the hobbit was quickly falling prey to the feelings of jealousy.

"Calm down Frodo. Those two do enough squabbling for our entire company, you don't need to join in it with your jealous feelings." Gandalf told the Hobbit as they followed Aragorn and Gimli back to where Legolas, Angel, and Emily were at the large fountain in the clearing of the large white city.

Emily, normally would've felt ashamed, from acting out in such a behavior but her dislike for Legolas was much too strong and she couldn't help but make a face at Angel clearly trying to flirt with the blonde elf.

Perplexed by the half hobbit half wizard's behavior, Legolas replied a somewhat confused "Hello." to Angel stopping to smirk as soaked Emily got up and began wringing out her now soaked hair.

Emily returned the smirk with a glare but said nothing as she also rung out her soaked skirt. She would've made a comment to Angel about hitting on the elf but reclined from doing so when the others joined them.

"Didn't you give me your word you would behave?" Gandalf scolded Emily.

"No." She grumbled in reply.

Angel was too clueless based on Legolas' reaction to her flirting. She no longer pay attention to her soaked female buddy nor notice about Frodo's jealously.

"So you must be the one they called Legolas Greenleaf! I have not met an elf before; until today!" Angel says sweetly, continuing her flirting at the elf. She kindly offer her hand for a kiss. "You may kiss the royal hand if you wish, but please don't remove the glove!"

Frodo made a face, shocked and utterly jealous that Angel even dare to let herself allowed the elf with permission to kiss her hand, when she didn't even let it get kissed by Aragorn or Bilbo.

The hobbit gritted his teeth and squeeze his clenching his fists tightly. "I swear if he touches her, I will--" He spoken angerily, but Sam puts his hand on his friend's shoulder and shook his head no to him for his sake. There was no need to be having a beatdown. But knowing well for a fact that elves do have the talent for communicating through thoughts, Frodo gave the blond elf a private threatening thought "DON'T YOU DARE!!!"

"Yes. Sadly that is because most of my kin do not leave our elven lands or meddle in the affairs of others until recently with the events of the One Ring." Legolas replied. He looked at Angel's hand being offered to him before hearing Frodo's threat in his mind.

'Oh. You are sweet on her? She is your mate then?' He questioned the hobbit. 'You would rather I insult her by not accepting such a gesture?' He added. Fortunately he was saved by Frodo's threat of violence by Arwen and Elrond coming out to join them.

"Ah Master Elrond and Queen Arwen, it's good to see you." Gandalf spoke grateful for the distraction as he politely bowed to the two elves.

"I see you've brought company, Gandalf." Elrond spoke. "To what do we owe the visit?" He asked.

"I will leave that to our guest, Princess Angel, to explain." Gandalf replied using it as a distraction to take her attention off of Legolas in hopes of preventing a squabble between he and Legolas.

Frodo appear to be bit offended by Legolas' private question to him when he return it so through his mind. "What do I say?" The hobbit thought that alone to himself, figuring out what to do so it was not to keep the elf waiting.

But it seem time was on their side when Arwen and her father Elrond arrived. What the half hobbit/half wizard did not expected was the queen to be elf when already meeting the king who was a man. She stared at Arwen with surprise, then back to Aragorn and back at Arwen. "Your married to an elf?" She finally asked Aragorn being surprised by it.

"Why does that shock you? Your the offspring of a hobbit and wizard!" Sam reminded her. How could this be such a shock to the princess?

"I know, it's just--" Angel grew a bit of anxiety, but clear her throat. "I aplogize!" Angel excused herself for reacting way out of line. "It's good my parents were not the only ones who come from two different races, but you do not happened to have twin children do you? Because I'm afraid it would be a bad sign!" She then asks Arwen looking highly concerned.

"Yes, Arwen is my daughter, she and Aragorn have always loved one another since the time they first met and married a year ago despite the fact they are both of different races." Elrond pointed out as if it were not such a big deal. He didn't mention how in the beginning he had been concerned about her daughter marrying Aragorn or how the different lifespans would affect them but eventually came to accept he could not keep them apart and allowed them to marry.

"I have heard the warnings of what having twins may prove to cause for the future but I do not fear the future as well." Arwen replied simply though she did look away after answering the question clearly trying to hide some inner pain.

Gandalf was the first to recognize it and spoke first with a soft sympathetic, "I'm sorry."

"We are handling it the best we can and may try again sometime." Aragorn explained to Gandalf hiding his pain as well.

"I'm sorry. You both would've made great parents." Emily added sympathetically.

The next day, Merry and Pippin were up and ready to continue their trip. They didn't, however, expect a stop along the way due to a request from Angel to wash herself. They were both eager to see their old friends at Gondor again, but they figured that it was best to respect the hobbit/wizard's wishes and allowed her to do so, including not taking a peek at her while she bathed.

Startled by the screams coming from Angel, they wondered if everything was alright, and after eavesdropping a bit on the information about what had happened, they suddenly got the idea that there may be a hint of love coming from her, too. Merry nudged Pippin and asked, "Hey, what say we make a bet?"

"A bet?" Pippin wondered.

"Yeah, we know Frodo is in love with Angel, but I want to see how long it takes for Angel to fall in love with Frodo back."

Pippin grinned at the idea and pointed at him, saying, "I like it. I'd say she'll fall in love...after we defeat her sister."

"I say before."

"How much you want to bet? 5 silver pennies?"

"Why don't we double that? Make it 10 silver pennies."

Thinking it over, Pippin agrees to the wager and offered a hand to shake Merry's with before saying, "You got a deal."

Long after the ride to Gondor had occurred, they exchanged their welcomes with Aragon, Gimli and Legolas. How delightful it was to be seeing them all again after their adventure together. But things started to take a surprise turn for them when they witnessed Legolas and Emily have their quarrel with each other and followed them to where they stopped at the fountain. Wondering what that was all about, Pippin started getting ideas of his own.

"How about we make a bet on this one, hmm?" Pippin whispered to Merry. "To see how quick those two will get back together."

"One bet is enough for now, Pippin," Merry whispered back. Clearing his throat to begin a new topic, he asked the whole group, "Well, now that we're all here, how do we stop Angel's sister?"
