"Yes." Angel answered. After giving her friend a helping hand, the girls return back to the guys giving them all now the refiled canteens. Deciding now would be a good chance to be left alone with her dear friend for a small girl to girl on chat. "Emily and I are going for a stroll, we'll be back." She informs them.
Afterword, the two princesses started taking their walk by their own. "Emily.." She begin, wondering how clear this question was gonna turn up. "Have you ever...knew someone in your life you could of--what I mean is....prince or not, is there a person you'd know where your head told you no, but your heart says otherwise?" She asks.

At first Emily did not reply. Had Angel noticed her feelings toward Legolas and calling her out on it? Or was she talking about her and Frodo? "Well...my mother married a commoner, though much older than her, she loved him since she first met him. One of my uncles also married a commoner too so I always believed that though it was better accepted for a princess to marry a prince, where I am from marrying a commoner was no crime, I can't however answer to how things are run here in Middle Earth since I'm sure Gandalf has told you I am not from here." She replied. "I've always been told the heart knows what it wants and you're supposed to listen to it and I wish I could say I always have listened to it, but I haven't." She added.

"Yes, Gandalf did tell us." Angel replied, though she did not question much else since learning her friend about being a princess and then being blind before the wizard's magic cure her eyesight and turn her into an elf. She seem to understood, but mostly the part about how the heart always know what it wants. "I aplogize if it had put you on the spot Emily, but it's--" Just as this topic was going along smoothly, the half hobbit/half wizard did not see where she was walking to, and found herself at a sudden fall. Rolling down at a steep hill, she landed roughly into a giant mudhole surrounded by rocks forming a circle around the mud.
"Eww!" She made a face in disgust. Angel grunted as she try to get up, but it was no use. Somehow, she was stuck but she realized it was more than just a mudhole. The more she try to move, the quicker she was sinking in. "IT'S A QUICKSAND!!" She cried in horror. "HELP!!! EMILY, SOMEONE!! HELP!!"
Though they were already far, Frodo was getting a bad feeling about Emily and Angel being gone too long. "Did you hear that?" He asks, believing he thought he heard a cry for help out from the distance. But it was so low that not even the others could hear it. "I didn't hear a thing." Sam replied. But Frodo knew he couldn't be hearing this. Determined to know where that sound was coming from, the hobbit could not ignored for very much longer. He got up and started heading to where Angel and Emily had walked off. "Where are you going?" Sam calls, watching his friend raced off.
Frodo ran as fast as his little hobbit legs can carried him til he found Emily who wasn't with Angel. "Where is Angel?" He asks, but he got his answer when he heard Angel's voice. "SOMEBODY, HELP ME! I'M SINKING!!" He finally followed her cries and stops to an halt, staring down at the bottom where Angel can hang on for very much longer.
"ANGEL!!" He cried in a panic. Hearing him called out her name, Angel glance up. "FRODO, STAY WHERE YOU ARE! IT'S TOO DANGEROUS! YOU--EEUGH! YOU'LL FALL!"
"DON'T MOVE, YOU'LL SINK FASTER!!" He warns her quickly. The hobbit had to look for a way to reach her, but how? Just then, he saw an old tree with a long branch that was reachable enough that could help him. Immediately, Frodo climbed up the tree and carefully to make sure his weight won't cause him to fall in, he quietly one by one crawled on the branch. He came to stop and try to reach out for Angel. "TAKE MY HAND!!"
Angel almost had gotten close, but was only reachable enough for Frodo to grab only the tip of the glove. He grabbed that, but her arm came loose, causing the glove to fall in the quicksand and sank in. "I...I CAN'T!!" She cried.
"YOU HAVE TO! BUT YOU MUST TRUST ME!!" Frodo calls. Angel really wanted to try again, but she didn't want to use her metal hand after losing one glove. Thinking fast, Angel unbutton the cloak off her, and use the other hand to grab hold of Frodo's hand. She had succeeded and the hobbit pulled the princess out to safety. Unfortunately, their weight together on the branch could not hold them both. It snapped off, sending the two of them falling them to their doom, but Angel grabbed a tight hold on the edge with her metal hand while her other while still wearing the last glove she had left held onto Frodo's wrist.

"No you're not it's just-" Emily started to say before Angel fell. "Angel! Hang on, I'll pull you out!" She told her friend looking around for anything long enough to hand down over to Angel for her to grab onto when Frodo came up and joined them obviously worried about Angel.
"She slipped." She explained quickly before the hobbit attempted to help her. "Frodo, wait." She tried to stop the hobbit ended up failing when Frodo did not listen to her and ended up falling in with Angel.
"Gandalf! Aragorn! Gimli! Legolas!" Emily yelled hoping the others weren't far behind Frodo as her mind raced panicking trying to find a way to help the two companions.
Left with no other options she lay flat on her stomach managing to reach Frodo's hand grasp it. "Hold Angel's hand and I'll pull you both up." She told them. When they complied. She tried at first but the weight of both of them nearly caused her to fall and she had to back up and come up with a new plan for which felt guilty and helpless. The feeling didn't last long as a feeling of hope soon kindled in her when the others joined them.

Both Merry and Pippin were quite impressed with Emily's singing skills, that they couldn't help but join on the "Find her somebody to love" response line. Though they had never even heard the song before, they certainly got into it, having a good time and even getting up to dance around the fire.
After settling down for a bit from all that dancing, they noticed Frodo walking off. Pippin turn to Merry and asked, "Where do you think he's going now?"
"Probably off to find his girlfriend again," he smirked.
Time had gone by before they noticed how long it had been since Frodo left. Concerned for him, they got up to go off in the direction Frodo had gone and soon picked up faint screams and yells for help, recognizing the voices coming from Frodo, Angel and Emily. Hurrying along, they ran down toward the source of the sound and found the trio in an unfortunate mishap.
"Quicksand!" Merry gasped.
Looking around and thinking quickly of whatever options he could use to help save them, Pippin got an idea. "Hold on, I'll be right back!" Running back to the campsite, he quickly grabbed for Gandalf's staff and told him, "Don't worry, I'll bring this back, thank you!" Returning to the quicksand, he reached out as far as he could with the staff and told them, "Here, grab on!"
Figuring that Pippin could use a little help, Merry grabbed onto Pippin's cloak and held on tight, using all the strength he could to keep himself and Pippin from falling in as well.

Angel had not predict that her and Frodo would of been in the hands of being rescued by his kin, but gratefully, she was okay with that after Merry and Pippin pulled them out. Both the hobbit and the princess were glad to be back on safe old ground.
They were both out of breath, but were glad they were out of that mishap. "Thank you!" Frodo told his cousins. Angel flopped down on the ground flat on her back. "I thought....I was gonna die!" She gasped in between breaths. Frodo gently removed some of the mud off Angel's face to wiped clean with his hand. "Your safe now." He tells her softly. Angel got up a bit "I lost the cause of my cloak and one of my gloves! But I cannot thank you enough Frodo!" Very pleased she was once saved again by her hero, Angel gave Frodo another warming hug, this time her hand glowing yellow from showing that she had the emotion of happineness again.
Frodo froze still, as his eyes widen and the cause of her touch made his eyes glow yellow too. "I feel....happy!" "What?" Angel asks, not even noticing that her emotions cause Frodo to act very differently again. She let loose of the hug, breaking Frodo out from the same connecting emotional power he was sharing. Frodo was back to his old self, but was a bit edgy from that new feeling he got this time.
"Frodo? Frodo look at me!" Angel pressed her fingers under his chin to lift up his face so they were to meet eye to eye. Remembering what had made the cause of it, Angel moved away from him. "Oh no, did I--Oh Frodo, I'm terribly sorry!" But Frodo saw no fault in it. "You did not to nothing wrong. I'm fine see?" "But--" She paused, then look down at her metal hand and then the other one that was still being wore from her last glove. Angel had only use one hand, but still it appear her glowing light can still effect Frodo. "Did I cause it?" Angel questioned it.

"You two are brilliant!" Emily told Merry and Pippin hugging the two hobbits.
'If you're waiting for an opportune moment, this is it.' Legolas told the hobbit in his mind.
"You two belong together." Emily whispered in Angel's ear after witnessing the scene between the two of them. She kept her voice low so no one would hear feeling happy for her friend. She may not have understood everything about her friend's curse but she knew not all magic was bad and at this moment it had more signs of good and destiny to her than a sign for evil and dread.

Try as the two might, they successfully got Frodo, Angel and Emily free and ended up on the ground on their backs. Though they were not injured, the impact they made on the ground did hurt a little, and they both sat up to rub the sores on their backs.
Unexpectedly, they received a simultaneous hug from Emily.
"Brilliant? Us?" asked Pippin. Flattered, he grinned and said, "Why, thank you." And he hugged her back.
"We're just glad you're safe, m'lady," Merry chuckled before hugging her back as well.
While continuing the hold of their hugs, they looked to where Angel and Frodo were and couldn't help but notice the way his eyes glowed as she held him. Connecting his glowing eyes with the glow on her hand and listening in on the conversation as to what the glowing meant, it now made more sense to them. Merry looked at Pippin and said, "I just know I'm going to win my bet any moment now."
"Oh, no, I still bet she'll fall in love much later," Pippin pointed out. "You'll see."
After letting go of Emily's hug, they both went over to help Frodo and Angel up and brushed off any excess quicksand from their clothes.
"Oh, Frodo, we thought we'd lose you again," said Pippin. "Good thing we came in the nick of time."

"What?" Frodo didn't hear what the elf commented to him in his mind, but didn't had any time to keep that going when his cousins were talking to him. "Thank you Merry, and thank you Pippin! I can always count on you!" He told his kin and gave them thank you hugs.
Angel was almost a bit threw off by Emily's whisper. Still barely just learning what her curse can still do, she was not easily convinced by her friend about being with Frodo. "Care to explain to me how this is any different from your relationship with Greenleaf? I thought you hated him!" She whispers back, not sounding very pleased still by Emily's comment.

"Hate is a strong word, I would merely call it a dislike." She replied with a shrug of her shoulders keeping her true feelings in denial. She wasn't affected by Angel's tone, she knew she had probably struck a cord with her considering the comment she had made concerning her and Frodo but she had merely been stating the truth.
"Love isn't a bad thing, Angel, it's good and you shouldn't be afraid of it but rather embrace it." She replied before making her way back to their campsite. Despite the advice she was giving Angel about going through with feelings and accepting them she knew she herself was probably a hyprocrite when it came to expressing her own but she was still very confused about what feelings she had concerning the elf, Legolas. There were times when she believed she may like him a lot and others where she was so mad she just wanted to punch him square in the nose.
Much later on that night when they were supposed to be sleeping, Emily found that she could not sleep. When she wasn't dreaming of home she was dreaming of Legolas and couldn't quite frankly say which was worse.
She looked at the others fast asleep finding it to be a few hours before dawn and took the opportunity to be alone with her thoughts once more. Despite how hard she tried she couldn't shake away what Angel had said to her earlier. 'Care to explain to me how this is any different from your relationship with Greenleaf? I thought you hated him!' She let out a soft sigh. 'I do...or at least I thought I did...' she thought to herself.
When she was far enough from the others where she would not be heard she couldn't help but vent her frustrations aloud keeping her voice to soft whisper and she softly sang
"I'm calling out Won't somebody out there hear my SOS Throw me a life line please, and save me There's no doubt Baby, you took me prisoner I confess When you crossed my defenses And captured my heart"
She sang softly quickly turning back to the others still seeing them sleeping due to her heightened sight. She sat down on the ground finding it odd so could only feel half the cold and was sure if she were full elf she would not feel it at all.
She closed her eyes for a moment remembering the time she had first clicked with Legolas. "I see the record stands, chivalry two, gratitude zero!" Legolas had exclaimed to her irritated at her as they spoke sat in a small cave taking shelter for the night in there.
Trying to hide the fact she was shivering badly as she sat down, she hugged herself in an effort to stay warm. She was completely soaked as was he and everywhere she hurt from the fall they had recently endured. She was jealous that the elf seemed not to be affected from being wet or the cold biting wind promising winter's soon return.
She glared at him and through gritted teeth to keep them, from chattering from the feeling of freezing, spoke "I don't need your chivalry, I can handle myself!"
"Oh really? Says the woman who fell more than a 150 foot drop."
"It was your fault I fell in case you remember." She replied turning her back to him.
He scoffed and rolled his eyes sitting down and wincing as the wound on his arm began throbbing once more.
Emily turned slightly turning to watch as he feebly clutched it with his good arm in an attempt to keep it from bleeding any further. Despite her annoyance at the elf she couldn't stand by and let him bleed out. Hate him she did but not enough to watch him slowly die. 'I can't believe I am doing this' she thought as she ripped a piece of the bottom of her skirt and moved over to him bandaging up his arm without a word.
Long moments of silence passed between them before he asked "So...will I live?" in a somewhat lighter joking matter.
"I think the odds are in your favor.." She replied and couldn't help but smile a little as she joked back with him. She soon realized she she was smiling and wiped it away quickly.
Other memories also came time to mind of how he had lied down next to her keeping her warm with body heat and as surprised as she had been with the gesture she did not push him away. She wondered if it was because she was too cold and half asleep to do or if it was because it somehow felt right. She twirled her finger in the ground smiling and blushing at the memory causing her heart to beat a little faster and wake her up from her thoughts as she stubbornly shook her head.
"No... I don't like him.. I don't..right?" She asked herself again before Angel's words rang once more in her mind as if to contradict her as well as Sam's comment of her and Legolas being a couple.
"And now it's too late to put up a fight I thought I was strong but as hard as I try Can't break away Darling, there's no way out Nothing can help me now Love's got a hold on my heart
There's no escape Now I'm like a damsel in distress Trapped in this fairy tale forever And no mistake Its tragic but I'll have to face the truth I guess And live ever more resigned to my fate!"
Okay, she admitted, I like him, but I can't let him know. No one can know.
"Cos now it's too late to put up a fight I thought I was strong but try as I might Can't break away Darling, there's no way out Nothing can help me now Love's got a hold on my heart, Yeah, yeah Love's got a hold on my heart"
Yes she had finally come to terms with her feelings for Legolas despite their was a small voice inside of her telling her not to tell anyone about it, not even him if only to face what she believed to be envitable rejection and the fact that Gandalf had promised to help get her back home once they had helped Angel and if she kept it a secret perhaps it would make the hard goodbyes a little easier but she rather doubted it as she got up and made her back to the others to see if she would be able to sleep a little again.
She had just fallen asleep when she felt someone shaking her awake and couldn't help but groan. "Come on Lass, it's time to get moving once more. Gandalf believes a winter storm will soon be upon us." She heard Gimli speak as she forced herself to sit up and rub the sleep out of her eyes. "I'm up." She replied sleepily as she yawned and stood up on her feet ignoring the protest of her body telling her to lie down and go back to sleep.
She looked over to see Aragorn, Merry, Pippin, and Sam packing up the provisions so they could get a quick move on while Legolas sat up on a tree branch obviously being a lookout for them. Watching him climb down she found he did not seem as agile and graceful as usual as he clumsily landed after getting down from the high tree branches but Gandalf who had been nearby hadn't reacted to it nor did anyone else so she wondered if she had imagined it and tried to think nothing of it telling herself he probably appeared slightly slower and less graceful because he didn't sleep well last night.
That thought, though it was supposed to be reassuring, struck her with a moment of fear. If he didn't sleep, did that mean he heard everything she had said? She worried fearfully trying to meet the elf's gaze to see any clue whether or not he had but he did not meet her gaze but instead whispered something to Gandalf that she could not understand due to it being in elvish.

At the crack of dawn, soon everyone was awake and started packing, Angel couldn't help but worried when she overheard Gimil telling Emily about an upcoming winter storm that would soon be coming. "Winter storm? Oh lovely, just what I need; without my cloak no more, I'll freeze to death!" She rolled her eyes, remembering having to had lost her cloak back from the quicksand last night. And she knew perfectly with just one last glove left to cover up only part of her curse, it still wasn't going to be enough.
"Here, you can borrow mine!" Frodo offer, giving his cape over to the half hobbit/half wizard princess. "For me? But how are you going to stay warm?" She asks, after taking it.
"I may have brought an extra spare." Frodo answered, digging through his personal stuff to make sure. Surely, he knew he couldn't himself out there without anything warm to wear. Finally he found one. "Perfect!" He with an extra pair of shirt he found too, so the hobbit started putting that aside and begin to take off his shirt to change into a fresh one.
"Holy mother of heaven!" Angel stared at the shirtless hobbit as her eyes grew wide and her cheeks flush brightly red. Immediately, she drop the cape she was given instantly. Frodo turned around, wondering what got Angel acting funny. "Are you all right?"
Angel looked away to avoid eye contact. "Yeah, fine!" She squeaked, the sounding pitch of her tone being a bit high. "Don't look Angel, don't look don't look, DON'T LOOK!" Her mind try repeating over and over again, until she peak again. "CURSES, I LOOK!!"
"Umm...I--I think I have to go tinkle!" She quickly says and runs off to get a little far away from Frodo as possible. "WHAT. IS. WRONG WITH YOU??" She cursed, hitting her head at the tree.
Sam, who had been witnessing what happened, try the best he could to hold back his chuckle, but he failed. "What now?" Frodo asks him. "Nothing!" He smirked. "I think Mister Gandalf was right about your blind feelings Mr. Frodo." He added.
"What are you talking about?" At first Frodo didn't get what Sam was trying to hint at, then he look down and realize he may of accidentally trigger Angel's own hormones. "You mean I'd--NO! I wasn't doing it on purpose!" He cried, feeling awfully embarrassed by what happened.

After having gotten up from their rest and helping pack up, Merry and Pippin overheard what was going on between Angel and Frodo and seemed to agree with what Sam had said.
Merry elbowed Frodo teasingly and said with a smirk, "Sure you weren't doing it on purpose."
Pippin placed a hand on Frodo's shoulder and said, "There's nothing to be ashamed about, Frodo. It's only natural to have these blind feelings whenever you express something wonderful about someone, like...love, perhaps."

Gimli couldn't help but laugh at the little scene between Frodo and Angel. "No one could blame you for doing it on purpose, Laddie." He spoke to Frodo with a grin. "It's natural for young men to do things on the drastic side for attention from women."
Emily smiled and rolled her eyes. 'What did I tell you last night, Angel?' she thought to herself before going to check on her giving one last glance over her shoulder at Legolas who seemed to be having a conversation in elvish with Aragorn. 'You know..sometimes I wish I knew what they were saying..' She thought to herself before going over to Angel finding her repeatedly hitting her head on a tree. "You know that's only good for giving you a concussion right?" She teased her lightly.
"Are we all ready to head off now?" Gandalf asked Aragorn breaking up the conversation between he and Legolas to which Legolas appeared to be grateful since his tone with Aragorn though it couldn't be understood by the others did sound a little on the irritated side.
"We're waiting on Angel and Emily." Aragorn replied.
"And where have they head off to this time? Surely they learned from last time about wandering off alone." Gandalf muttered. The early morning and upcoming threat of a storm had made him a bit testy naturally.

Angel stopped hitting her head from the tree and glared at Emily. She knew what her friend was thinking. "Don't you say another word!" She glared.
Surely Frodo knew that if they kept Gandalf waiting any longer, the wizard will just scold him again. "I have no time for this!" He said to the other guys who were still teasing him over on the whole shirtless thing. So he hurry up and changed into a new shirt, picks up the cloak Angel dropped and goes off to find Angel who with Emily, not much of a surprised to the hobbit seeing how the princess spends a lot of bonding girl time with her. "Here, you left this behind!" Frodo tapped Angel on the shoulder, handing her back the cloak he let her borrowed from.
Angel flinched from surprised, nearly startled but thankfully was glad to see Frodo wearing a new shirt. Now she wouldn't have anymore hints be given away. She nodded as her way of saying thank you and accepts it. Everyone else gather up with the rest and continue on, but as they had gone further and further forward from their quest, the winter storm had caught up. Snow and blizzard at every turning corner.
The hours were getting slower, and it gotten more worst when Sam started developing a cold from the weather's hard heavy freezing temperature. His loud coughs can be easily heard from everyone, but mostly it made Frodo more and more concern. The cold was making Sam feel weaker and weaker. "I don't..." He try to say coughing in between and wheezing. "I don't feel so good!" And then, his body gave away and dropped, but instantly due to the slippery snow, he begin to fall back.
"SAM!!!" Frodo exclaimed. Before anyone can think otherwise, Frodo tries to go and rescue after his friend, but due from the deepen snow, he lost his balance and begin to find himself also sliding down. He was now caught up with Sam, until the hobbits were now trapped from the edge of the cliff. Frodo hang on grabbing at the edge while also holding his best friend Sam. His pal finally stirred, but yelp when he awoke to see that he was hanging for dear life, along with Frodo.
"FRODO, HANG ON! I'M COMING!" Angel calls, hurrying fast as she could to save them. Time was running out and the cliff was starting to split into a crack. "It's no use, it won't hold us both!" Sam informs Frodo. "It will Sam!" He try reasoning not to worry, but he was scared. Sam was frighten too, but he didn't want his good friend to go down with him if it meant having both their lives to be lost. "Frodo....you'll have to let me go!" Sam grunted, he was already much too heavy for their weight to be holding on. "NO! I WON'T!!" Frodo refused.
The only thing they could do is pray, but time wasn't looking so good for them. Reflecting back on the memories of their past mission, Sam swore to Gandalf that he would never lose Frodo nor let him out of his sight. Sad to say, it look like it was time to let loose for the good of the cause. "Mr. Frodo!!"
"What?" Frodo looked down, gazing with sadness. Sam wish he could think of a better way, but he couldn't. "I'm sorry..." His grip was starting to get looser and looser. "SAM NO!!! SAAAM!!!!" Frodo screamed. Just in the nick of time, Angel made it and grabs Frodo by the back of the collar. The extra heavy weight could not hold the three of them, but by the second Frodo was pulled in, the edge finally gave away and Sam and Angel fell down to the their doom. Frodo was saved thanks to Angel's help when he finally was on the snowy ground, he looked down in horror as he watch his crush and dear buddy fall to their doom. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
At the final bottom, there was a frozen ice river. The crumbling chuck of the cliff landed in a rough crash by the side between the grounds and the frozen water. Angel's life was spared, but the same could not be said for Sam when he crashed right into the freezing low cold water. Angel knew she could not let Sam died. He meant far too much to the fellowship. Carefully, she slid down and crawl quickly on the thick ice. Angel dug her metal arms into the cold water to reach in for Sam. Eventually, she got him out and pulled the unconscious ill hobbit out, dragging his lifeless body over to the land where it was safe.
Frodo watched from all that happened from the bottom and hurries back to the rest of the team. "GANDALF! EMILY, ARAGORN, HELP!!!"

As the group continued on their quest through the terrible blizzard, the two hobbits had grown concerned over Sam's condition as it grew worse and worse for him. They each wondered if maybe the whole group ought to stop so Sam could rest up and recover from his illness. However, the events that has transpired next was not what they had expected.
Feeling as though it was getting quite repetitive in seeing their close friends get into deep peril, Merry groaned, "Not again!" Before he and Pippin could react and try to help their good friend, Frodo had already stepped in to help out, and so did Angel. Initially, they were eager to save their good friend, but there was no telling what lay ahead in the hard-fallen snow, so they waited anxiously with their hearts racing, hoping that Angel and Frodo knew what they were doing. Little did they know of the consequences Angel and Sam would eventually face.
"Oh, I hope they're alright, Merry," said Pippin. "I'd hate to lose them again."
"Me, too, Pippin," Merry nodded. "Me, too."
But it wasn't long before they heard Frodo calling out for the group, that their spirits were raised a little. "Frodo!" Merry exclaimed, knowing that Frodo was at least alive. "It sounds like he needs our help." He dashed off to where Frodo was down the hill, with Pippin following close behind. "We're coming, Frodo!"
