'And you think that's a coincidence?' Legolas scoffed in Frodo's mind. It wasn't hard for him to overhear the hobbits' conversation, he was an elf after all, which meant he did have heightened hearing as he gave Emily a quick glance as she went to go check on Angel quickly looking away so not to get caught but sadly had already been caught by Aragorn who only looked at him with a knowing smile. "What?" He asked his friend pretending to be unaware of what the smile meant though he knew all to well.
"Nothing." Aragorn replied lying though there was still the hint of amusement in his tone. "Emily is rather lovely isn't she? Young but lovely." He hinted to Legolas in elvish nonchalantly.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Legolas denied.
"Sure you don't." Aragorn replied rolling his eyes not believing the lie for a moment.
"Are you okay?" Emily asked Angel sitting down beside her friend who had separated herself from the rest of the group.

"I don't know what happened." Angel says to Emily, staring down at her metal hand. She had only touched Frodo once in a hug, but never before by the hand. She look towards her elf friend. "I didn't get a good look what that spark of light was. Or the color! Do you suppose it could be that--" But she stopped. Within every light that glow from her metal hands, they always had a color for something. And with each color, gave it a meaning to her emotions. The yellow for happiness, blue for sadness, and even red for anger. Even if she felt fear, they would become dark black and sometimes once in a while could glow purple if she had enough to show her confusion. White was the only color she used to fight in battle.
But there was one emotional light Angel had not developed yet.
A pink color, which meant that color would be the key to unlocking an emotion of love. "No, no it can't be! No I refused to believe it!" She said and gets up to pace around a bit, without even telling Emily what she possibly believe could be possible.

"Believe what?" Emily asked watching confused as her friend now set about to pacing back and forth. "Did it change colors again?" She asked her friend meaning her friend's metal hands that sometimes changed colors for different emotions though she herself had not been told exactly why the hands changed colors and only knew for the fact that sometimes they did in different circumstances. "It didn't hurt you or Frodo, did it?"

"No, I felt no pain in it at all!" Angel answered. There was no way she could of if her curse made her hands and arms entirely into metal. The princess finally stop pacing when Frodo approached the two ladies.
"Angel, can we talk?" Frodo asks, wanting to discuss what happened back there about the frizzy spark. Why it happened, and why did it cause no harm to them at all. But Angel did not wanted to be near around the hobbit right now. "Frodo, stay back!" She warned him, stepping away, but Frodo step fourth.
"But I want to have a word with--" "There's nothing to discuss! Now just stay away!!" She says harshly. But Frodo wasn't listening. The more he try to attempt so, the more it causing her anger. And her anger started making her metal hands glow red. Her emotions got higher and higher until the second it happened, she lungs towards Frodo and pins him hard against a tree.
"NOOO! ANGEL DON'T--" Frodo try struggling out of his gripped. If she didn't let go, things would get much badly. "YOU NEVER LISTEN! WHEN I SAY NO, I'D--" She begin threatening him, til suddenly something strange was happening. Frodo no longer try to struggle as her metal hands and glowing red light were still on him, that all of a sudden, the blue eyes that the hobbit once had turn into a deep color between red and orange. He snarled and pins the princess straight down on the ground, grabbing a rock quickly to fight back. Thus this had the princess frightened, but she quickly moved her hands away as it had happened, shielding her face with her arms so she wouldn't have gotten hurt. But without Angel's glowing emotions no longer touching Frodo anymore, the power in him wore off fast and his eyes return back to it's normal color of blue.
Frodo had no memory of what just happened, til he saw the rock he held in his hand. Horrified by the cause of those unknown actions, he moved away as he dropped the rock he held. Angel could not figure what had just happened. Was she the cause of it? Had she turn Frodo into a monster? It was impossible! The fear of look was still on Angel's face as she moved back too, staring at the horrors of her curse. "What's happening to me?" She cries.

Watching the horrifying scene, Emily quickly figured it out. The metal hand colors were from Angel's emotions and somehow, she wasn't exactly sure how, the emotions Angel felt seemed to control Frodo a bit more. She helped Angel to her feet. "Don't worry, we'll free you from the curse soon and then you won't have to worry about any of it anymore." She told her softly to console her frightened friend while Gandalf joined Frodo's side. "Now do you finally understand what I've been telling you from the beginning about you and Angel?" he asked the hobbit. Surprisingly instead of sounding angry this time he sounded rather concerned.
"Get some sleep. We continue on our journey at first light." Aragorn spoke. He made no comment about the scene that just happened nor did Gimli or Legolas. All they knew was the sooner they got to Angel's home the sooner they could help her with the curse and hopefully before anything worse happened.
"I will take watch." Legolas offered to let the others sleep. He didn't think he would be able to sleep anyway with his closed mind being filled with jumbled and confusing thoughts about everything.

Angel needed comfort, but after what just happened, she didn't want the same thing happening to her friend nor the others if she try touching them. But from feeling much too upset, she really needed a hug. Taking that chance, Angel went in to embrace Emily as she sobbed. This time for sure, she made sure to keep her emotions into total control.
Confused at first, Frodo didn't look for the right words to say to the wizard. But despite that, the hobbit was not going to give up on the princess. He loved her far too much to let her strong powers get the best to him. If he can manage to survived Mondor to destroy the ring and lived to tell the tale, he could do the same no matter what consequences might throw at him.
"No Gandalf!" Frodo begin to start, but not so loud so Emily and Angel wouldn't have to hear him. "I've come this far to help her and I am NOT going to give up! Angel needs me! And I will NOT stop until her curse is broken! Nothing you say will change my mind!" He will keep on to defending her, protecting her at all costs no matter what life will throw at them. Knowing very well that true love can be the most powerful feeling in the world. Even if now she may not have seen it yet, Frodo can only hope and pray that she will feel the same way.

This time Emily wasn't as surprised by the hug as she had been the first time Angel had done it and she gently hugged her back knowing her friend needed the comfort and not minding being the one to offer it, they were friends after all and that was one of the many things friends did for each other. She did agree with Aragorn's suggestion to get some rest too and figured they all could use it especially Frodo and Angel who seemed to be exhausted not really physically but rather emotionally and mentally.
"I did not say you should change your mind nor turn back. Do not think I have forgotten the stuff you endeared from the ring and the trip to Mount Doom, I know quite well your strength, Frodo Baggins, however I also know you are blinded by love. Everyone is bound to fall prey to it sooner or later so it is no surprise you have however I'm sure you know now a small taste of what your emotions to each other can inflict upon yourselves which is what I feared in the first place. Until we can get Angel free from her curse, you need to keep some rational sense and not let your emotions get the better of you. I know you love her, Frodo, everyone here sees it too I'm sure but if you do love her, you cannot let yourself feed off her emotions nor cause her emotions to go out of control like that again if only prevent the two of you from killing one another among other things." Gandalf cautioned him. He did not raise his voice at the Hobbit but kept his tone serious. He wished Frodo would understand why he was so concerned but one of the problems with young love was that it caused the person having it not to listen to reason no matter how obvious it should be to them.

"You just don't understand!" Frodo grumbles, turning his back on the wizard and giving him the cold shoulder. Yes, the hobbit could see that everyone knew how much he was in love with her, but will never confess it. "I will find a way to break Angel from being isolated, but I am going to need more time." He said, he just knew he needed to be patient and to be very careful. It won't be easy, but Frodo was not a quitter. Feeling a bit tired from all that had went on, the hobbit went back inside the cave to get more rest.
Sam, who was very quiet after all what they saw, couldn't help but wonder about the serious warning Gandalf try to convinced Frodo. "Mister Gandalf?" He wanted to share a little bit discussion with the old wizard about that topic of love. There had to be more to it than what was there to believe. "Don't think I haven't notice, but is it true what you said? Being blinded by love? I always thought love at first sight can happen with anyone." Sam can remember a time when he was in love with Rosie the first time he lay his eyes on her, but was always too shy. He never even asked his wife if she felt the same way when they first met.

"Yes it is true, Samwise Gamgee, Frodo means well but he has become blinded to only his feelings for Angel though I fear sooner or later he may come to regret it before the rest of it is over." Gandalf spoke with a long sigh before making his way inside the cave as well. "Wake either Aragorn or I, if you get tired Legolas." He added to the elf keeping a close watch outside the cave and gestured for Sam to follow him inside.
While the others resumed to lie down and get some rest, Legolas sat silently staring out into the dark horizon keeping his eyes and ears pierced for anything that may stir or lurk in the dark trying hard to remain focused on his task though his mind lingered away keeping it closed from everyone else as the memories of what had happened only a few days ago replayed in the back of his mind.
He had raced over to her to help her as she hung from the cliff. Her nails digging in so deep they had begun to bleed. Despite his annoyance to her and her presence he wasn't going to let her die, he was no murderer. He had just begun to help pull her up when he found himself fighting a large Uruk-hai after a goblin had hit him square in the shoulder with an arrow dislocating his arm preventing him from using it.
He had managed to knock the Uruk-hai away from him pushing him over the cliff face with his good arm but what he hadn't counted on was it grabbing his ankle and pulling him down with him before he could react. In a moment of panic, he tried to grab onto the cliff or anything for a hand hold with his good arm but accidently grabbed Emily's ankle instead. The weight of herself, he, and Uruk-hai was too much for her to be able to hang on anymore causing them all to fall before Aragorn or Gimli could help them.
He remembered hearing them scream he and Emily's names as they plummented down. He had tried several times as well as did Emily to grab a hold of anything they could to stop their fall but they always missed or lost the hand hold cutting their hands as they continued to fall.
He was grateful that being an elf meant he could not feel cold when he and Emily fell into the freezing cold, fast current river, along with the Uruk-hai. The water often kept knocking him under every time he tried to come up for air or yell Emily's name as he lost track of her in the river. The few times he was able to keep his head above the water he found himself struggling with the Uruk-hai which was trying to drown him and nearly succeeded too were it not for the large rock they both crashed into giving the Uruk-hai a killing blow to the head and Legolas a bloody nose.
Half drowned, he desperately clung to the rock with his good arm to keep from being pulled further down stream by the current. "Emily!" He had shouted several times looking around for her almost believing the human girl had drowned until he had seen her resurface above the water further down stream of him. He muttered a curse under his breath before letting go of the rock and letting the current take him to her trying to hold her head, as well as his own, above the water as they fought the current.
He had managed to cling onto another rock with his good arm, painfully holding Emily with his injured one, shouting "Aragorn! Gandalf! Gimli!" in hopes one of them would hear him but each shout he only managed to swallow water and cough it out drowning out his screams. Emily was unconscious while he himself was finding himself losing consciousness.
He looked over to her with a small hint of regret. "I'm sorry..' he thought to himself before letting go of the rock and letting the current take them down a waterfall which he had believed at the time to be the death of them. He snapped out of his thoughts as he heard the sound of the others sleeping in the cave behind them rolling his eyes at Gimli's loud snoring.
He casted a small look at Emily sleeping near Angel and a small smile appeared on his face as another memory came to him. He and Emily had managed to weakingly drag themselves to a small cave to rest. Emily was shivering and freezing from the cold night temperature and from being still soaked from the water. Legolas was not cold at all but he did feel a small bit of sympathy for her. As she tried to rest shivering fiercely, he knew he would need to keep her warm. With no firewood he could not build a fire nor did he think he had the strength to go looking for some. They did not have any blankets as their provisions were with the others who he was sure must believe they were dead by now, not that he would blame them if they did, they had been pretty close to death after all. Left with no other option, he lay down close to Emily to keep her warm with his body heat wrapping his arms around her pulling her close to him.
At first he expected her to be offended and slap him but instead she stirred and turned to face him somewhat surprised but gave him a small smile mummuring sleepily what he believed to be a 'Thank you' before going back to sleep.' It was a memory he now held dear for it was the first time he and Emily had really connected and since that night he had been unable to keep her from drifting back into his thoughts. At first he told himself that she was a human and as such they did not belong together but now that she was half elf that argument was no longer valid making it even harder to fight his growing feelings for her.

Sam was the only one who did not sleep, as he was deeply worried for his poor friend. The snoring most of it was keeping him from sleeping. "I've worried about him everyday too." Sam replied to Gandalf for he knew he wasn't the only concern about regrets. "But I can't find myself nice around her. I want to believe Frodo's words, I do. She's not Gollum, I know. But...a part of me from our journey in Mount Doom has left scars inside me." He tells the wizard.

"Trust is to be earned, not given. Perhaps she has not yet earned your trust, now get some sleep, we have an early start tomorrow and it won't do to have any of us half asleep." Gandalf told Sam. He did not blame the hobbit's concern nor did he dismiss it. He of course trusted Angel as did most of the others, it was just her out of control gifts he did not trust.
He cast a look to Legolas still keeping watch wondering if the elf was really paying attention or not before going off to sleep himself with his eyes open, a trick he had learned long ago from elves.
The next day was a long hard day of travelling where given the tensions between last night's events, everyone spoke very little. They only stopped for the night in the middle of the forest sitting around a camp fire eating some rabbit, Aragorn had caught and with Sam's help turning it into a stew for everyone to eat.
"On night's like these, rangers used to tell stories, or elves would sing songs." Aragorn spoke to try and ease the tension in the group.
"Anything to take the silence off.." Gimli grumbled as he shoved a spoonful of soup in his mouth, it dripping slightly in his beard.
"My thoughts exactly." Aragorn added with a nod. He took a moment to think "I don't know much tales that no one hear has not yet heard before.." He mumbled mostly to himself more than to everyone else. He looked around the group before his eyes locked on Emily staring at the ground in front of her, clearly not very hungry.
"Perhaps you could entertain us with a song." He suggested.
"Huh? What? You mean me?" Emily spoke looking up to meet Aragorn's face her voice did nothing to hide the surprise in her tone from Aragorn's suggestion.
He nodded.
"Oh no. I couldn't." Emily insisted shaking her head afraid of the idea. She had never sung in front of anyone before and feared she would sound terrible.
"Aw come on." Aragorn tried to encourage her. "Just a small sample."
She hesitated and gulped nervously getting up out of the circle and taking a step back from the others. 'Here it goes....' She mumbled in her thoughts.
She kept her eyes closed afraid of seeing their reactions as she sang one verse.
"Each morning I get up I die a little Can't barely stand on my feet. Take a look in the mirror and cry, Lord what are you doing to me? I spent all my years believing in you But I just can't get no relief, Lord.
Somebody, Somebody, Can anybody find me Somebody to love."
She sung somewhat nervously and moved back to sit down with the others before Gimli waved for her to keep going making her blush a little.
"Got no feel I got no rhythm I just keep losing my beat I'm okay I'm alright Ain't gonna face no defeat I just gotta get out of this prison cell One day I'm gonna be free Lord somebody Somebody Can anybody find me somebody to love"
She added another verse sounding a little more confident not surprised when Gimli and Aragorn gestured for her to continue wearing a smile on their face. She had to stop herself to look for Legolas' reaction which she unfortunately could not read but nevertheless did continue with the song she had made up long ago after several years of being overlooked by suitors who favored her younger cousin instead.
Losing herself to the music especially with Aragorn and Gimli providing back up vocals for her she added
"(She works hard) Everyday I try and I try and I try But everybody wants to put me down They say I'm going crazy They say I got a lot of water in my brain Got no common sense I've got nobody left to believe yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah..."
Whilst they chanted "Find her somebody to love" she couldn't help but dance a little doing little spins and twirls lost in her own little world for a brief matter of a moment before accidently tripping only to be caught by Legolas' quick cat like reflexes landing perfectly in his arms blushing as she met his gaze giving him a warm smile before finishing the song with one final line "Can anybody find me...Somebody To Love"

OOC: Aww what a good choice to pick. Normally, the only movie version I've heard of that song is from Happy Feet, but the other one from Ella Enchanted is cute too! BIC: "Looks to me we have more than one couple in the fellowship!" Sam jokes over to the gang with a bright smile on his face, making them laugh with joy. Just from witnessing that moment between Emily and Legolas, Angel did not once felt jealous about it. Rather than that, she was more happy for her friend. It had to be love, maybe not at first sight, but it was indeed love. "If only I'd knew more about love! It's such a strange and unexplainable feeling!" She thought to herself privately. But what was love to her? The half hobbit/half wizard princess would probably never know. But she wasn't the only one having second thoughts about love. Frodo also caught glimpse towards Legolas and Emily's tender moment at the end of the song. He glance over to the princess, who surprisingly didn't seem to show no reaction to it. Had the flirting been put to the end? It must of, judging that there had been no tension, the hobbit was pleased that those flirting days between Angel and Legolas were now gone. However, he was still feeling a bit sad over last night's scenes. The way he made poor Angel cry, and the things Gandalf told him. "I wish you can see things the way I'd see. I wish you knew how I felt about you; how I still feel!" Frodo thought, but kept that private so the elves didn't need to hear it. Angel finally look at Frodo who was still glancing at him, leaving the hobbit giving her a kind smile. But she did not react too good for it, and turn her back away on him. The smile that was now on Frodo's face was left gone now into a sad frown.

"Aye. I knew it was only a matter of time." Gimli laughed after hearing Sam's comment about Legolas and Emily being a couple.
"I have a feeling you planned that." Gandalf whispered to Aragorn who gave him a guilty grin. "Did I?" He replied trying to sound innocent.
If they had heard the good hearted jeering toward them, they paid no mind to it as Emily quickly gave the excuse of refilling the near empty canteens if only to get away from the others a few moments to be alone with her thoughts.
Sam's words ringed in her mind 'Looks to me we have more than one couple in the fellowship!' She shook her head. She and Legolas a couple? No. No. She hated that elf. His stupid graceful movements. His stupid beautiful blue eyes. His ridiculous long golden locks of hair. The way he seemed to glow in the light of the moon.
She shook her head once more as her thoughts began drifting to feelings of hate to feelings of lust. She sighed as she bent down to fill the canteens. Who was she kidding? No doubt that elf had a million women who were much more fitting to win his heart. After all she had always been looked over and forgotten before, why would now be any different?
She looked once more at her reflection for a moment and slapping it hating it. 'Oh Emily, if you only you could see how beautiful and special you really are.' Her mother had often told her. "Beautiful? Yeah right.." She muttered aloud to herself before gathering the canteens she had filled and made her way back to the group.

"I should help Emily with the canteens!" Angel said, getting up. "And don't be getting ideas about following me Frodo!" She warned the hobbit seriously.
"But--" Frodo tried, but Sam knew his friend needed to sit this one out. "Leave her be Mr. Frodo!" He tells him as they all watch the princess left. Truth was, Angel needed to get away from the men to clear out her thoughts.
Somehow, the more she wanted to try and avoid Frodo for all of the right reasons, the more that deep down inside of her, her feelings were trying to convinced her that she should open her heart more. But why on just a simple hobbit like Frodo? He was nothing more than just a peasant. And princesses never count on peasants unless there had to be a duty to followed. But she never hated Frodo like the way Emily used to hated Legolas.
It must of been more than just a close friendship the two had to been bonding from. Angel was so far lost in her thoughts, that she almost nearly bumped into Emily when the she-elf was making her back way to group. "Would you like some help?" She offered.

"I'm guessing you needed to get away for a few minutes too huh?" Emily asked Angel. She didn't judge her since that was one of the reasons for her excuse to refill the canteens in the first place. Anyone else could've done it sure but she had merely be them to it using it as a perfect excuse to not be judge but she figured if there was someone for her to be upfront with Angel was one of them. At least it would feel less awkward then when she had been forced to be upfront with Legolas a couple times when they were separated from the others.
