I guess I'll start this.
BIC: Grug woke up and looked around. For a second he thought he had dreamed about the whole thing. The earthquake, Guy, no caves, but when he saw green instead of stone he knew he hadn't. Getting up from the bottom of the family sleeping pile-up, Grug woke up his family. "Up, everyone up! If this is where we're going to live we might as well try to make it liveable." He did a quick head count as everyone untangled themselves. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...7." His smile had faded when Gran stood up and stretched her old bones.
"You can bet your skin that I'm still living." Gran shook her staff at her son-in-law. The two of them had never gotten along since the day Ugga had married the brute. Gran walked a few steps and looked around her. "Beats the same old view from that dark hole you called a cave." Laughing, she sat down at what would be the common area.
Belt opened his eyes and yawned. He wasn't use to all the noise so early in the morning. Rolling over he reached out a long arm and poked Guy to wake him up. He then wrapped his arms around Guy's neck like a scarf and hung there waiting for him to wake up.

Guy woke up to see gran and Grug fighting so i see you two are up he said putting belt back where he was meant to be." belt what do you think you where you are doing around my neck". he said looking at his pet so what are we going to do today look for food, explore or something guy said looking around the new place and then at the croods I'll be over here guy said looking around the area and walking away from grug.

Grug looked at Guy when he started to walk off. "Hold on, where do you think you're going?" Grabbing him by the scruff of his neck, Grug brought Guy over to where he had been standing. "You are not going off on your own in this place. We don't know what's out there or even if it's safe. So stay put." Grug turned back to where Gran had been, but she had moved and was now sitting beside Guy. "Fine, you stay put too." He then went to wake the rest of the family.
Gran laughed as Grug walked away. "See, can't even keep up with me! What does that show you?!" She broke down in a fit of giggles, falling over and staying on the ground where she had landed.
Belt huffed when he got moved to Guy's waist, he had gotten quite comfortable where he was. Clinging to Guy he heard everything Grug had said. Now, as Guy sat where he had been placed Belt sat beside him and pouted at having to stay put.

BIC:guy why do i have to stay put here guy said looking to where grug had walked to." gran do you mind if i go some where he is not". guy said looking at grug then looking at the big jungle. and waiting for grans reply to his question hoping that she was not going to tell grug that he had ran off.

Grug found the spot where the family had slept that night. It had been late by the time they had gotten into the valley so it wasn't the best spot to have slept. It was sort of open with little protection from anything. He added finding a new sleeping spot to his list of many other things to do that day. "All right, everyone up!"
Gran looked up at Guy. "Why would I stop you from getting away from him?" She pointed a thumb at Grug. "Go on, get outta here! But keep within shouting distance, we may need that fire of yours."
Belt heard that Guy was going to go exploring. Slowly he climbed up Guy's leg, and fit himself snugly around his waist where he usually stayed when he wasn't wrapped around his neck.

'thanks gran" guy said walking away from the rest of them and heading into the woods to explore and to see what is in the woods. and also to get away from grug so he decided to look at the different plants, trees and flowers" this place is amazing" he said looking all around the woods. "so belt lets go and see what we can find in here" guy said running in to the bushes. and looking for any new or great animals in these woods and to see if there is any thing to eat in the new area.

Once everyone was up, Grug made his way to where he had left Guy. When he got there all he found was Gran. "Alright, where is he?" He had a good idea that he had ran off somewhere even after he had told him not to. "Of all the things I had to do today, finding him was not one of them.
Gran pointed her stick at him. "Just shows that you can't handle him. I told him to get outta here, but he should be close by; we might need that fire of his." She stood and wandered off in a random direction. "And I'm starved! Where's the food?!"
Belt was looking at all the plants that Guy passed, and the few birds that flew around. As Guy was exploring, Belt climbed off of him and walked to a bush. He parted the leaves and behind there was a valley with a large lake. Belt then ran over to Guy to get his attention.

Guy saw belt and wounded what he had seen "what is it belt" guy said crouching down to look at belt. to see if he was telling him something or what he had seen." so what do you want to show me belt" guy said looking in the direction belt had come form.
