Anybody ever seen these? Personally, I liked the concept of the idea of finding out about Tinkerbell's life before she meets Peter Pan, though I think it would work best if this were a tv series than having them all be Direct to DVD movies.

Yeah I gotta agree. I think they're wasting too many money to be making those DTV prequels for Tinkerbell. But I did hear that they were the last DTV films to make when the Disney company decided to shut down making those sequels to their movies because most of them weren't making big bucks so well.
The first Tinkerbell movie is okay, and I've only seen half of the Lost Treasure one. They're suppose to be making another one later this fall in August or September I think.

I heard. And, I'll plead guilty here, I actually created myself a character on the Pixie Hollow MMO and played him for a while.

My mom had me buy all of the ones that came out so far I guess they are okay but I don't really like the whole 3D thing, Tinkerbell being able to speak when she can't with the Peter pan stuff it's like did she suddenly forget how to speak or lose her voice forever? and I don't like how they completely changed her personality making her go completely super super nice when she isn't that way in the Peter Pan films. The movies again are okay to watch but they aren't my favorites.

Well, I think the whole talking thing is explained in the third movie in that the fairies can understand each other, but humans can't (its like the same thing they did with Tarzan, except instead of apes, they use fairies). Also, the actress who voices Tinkerbell, Mae Whitman, also played Katara in "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and... frankly, after being a fan of the shows for years and observing both Katara's and Tinkerbell's personalities, it actually pretty good casting.
But again, the movies aren't really great, but they're not horrible either.

Mae Whitman is good at playing Tinkerbell. When they were starting to make the first one outta the Tinkerbell series, I heard that they were gonna get Brittany Murphy (This was before she died last year at christmas time) to play Tinkerbell, but she lost the role later. (I forget how, it was a very long story when I read it from an article.)
The Tinkerbell movies are so-so okay. Not that great, but not that bad either. They're just not that good of a memoriable thing to share with most of us are older than today's younger children and they don't know what it was like growing up with old fashion disney movies like the way we did!
There probably is a good excuse to how she gets her personality change later, but we'll have to find out someday when they're all though with her movies and show her getting to meet Peter Pan and the Lost Boys.

I'm kind of iffy on the Tinkerbell movies but I watch because my favorite actress voices one of the fairies (Kristin Chenoweth voices Rosetta the redheaded fairy..I love her she's an amazing actress and singer.) but I'm not a big fan of it (probably because it's computer animated.)
They need to make one where she meets Peter Pan and how her Jealousy over him came to be.

Yes I want to see one where she meets Peter Pan too lol.
Speaking of the Tinkerbell movies another one is about to come out soon as well, Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue, anyone gonna get it?
I might get it since I have all the other ones already but I probably won't buy it right away because there are other things I want to buy first that come out this month as well lol

I 'm a huge fan of the original Peter Pan movie, though like most of you I'm not too big on the CGI movies. I've seen the first two, and I thought the second one was decent. I put myself on hold for Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue through my library's website so hopefully I'll be getting it soon. I think that I heard from somewhere that this might be the last Tinkerbell movie, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see how well the Great Fairy Rescue does.
