Any thoughts on this film?
I really want to see it. In fact I've wanted to see it since I first heard of it. I am a animal lover and I love films with animal that look like they are talking like this. I was a huge fan of the first one.
I am really excited to see the second one though because at least they finally have some cats that are good. I mean I like dogs and all but I've always been more of a cat person and I didn't like the whole every cat in the world is evil and every dog is good it's stupid. So I am glad that the sequel will at least have some good cats in it.
The russian blue female kitty also looks a lot like my cat Cagney too since they are the same breed that makes me tear up every now and again when I watch the trailer but I think watching the movie I will be able to handle it okay.

I'm actually on the fence about this one. I've seen the trailer twice now- once when i saw toy story 3, and once when i saw the sorcerer's apprentice. I agree, it's nice to see the dogs and cats working together for once, and I also thought it was stupid that every single cat in the world was evil in the first.
The second looks like it has some interesting characters, and an amusing cast for the voices...but some things concern me. This is the type of movie that Disney seems to botch on sequels, so I hope this time they prove me wrong. From the bird in the trailer, and some of the lines I've caught, it seems like it could be one of those movies with really painfully lame jokes, too much comedic relief featuring moments that aren't funny at all, etc.
It still does look interesting, and I'm going to give it a chance certainly, but until I do see the film, I'm going to keep my concerns in mind so that I won't be surprised or disappointed if it turns out that way.
Either way though, the russian blue cat is gorgeous. <3 reminds me of one my cousins used to have that was so friendly, until he went missing. So, I feel your pain there with memories that cat brings up.

Yea I know what you mean and I don't blame you for keeping those concerns in mind but it's good that you're giving the film a chance too though since trailers can sometimes be decieving they can make a bad film look good or a good film look bad sometimes after all.

I dunno about seeing this one. At first from the looks of the trailer, I'm thinking "No way!" but it looks like it can turn out okay for a sequel. I just don't get why it took them so long to make one.
I actually like the first one (which I've only seen half of it) but what pains me to see is that they won't be returning Lou in it and I love that little doggie. And I gotta give Shauni some credit on this one; the jokes in it look far too corny! I didn't even laugh when they show the fake squirrel dancing before he blew up. Soo eehh...

I laughed it at only because i don't like squirrels too many of them come to my house but I don't like pigeon and I do miss Lou but I think the German Shepard might be alright

Different voice actor but he is in it. In the first one it was Spider man doing the voice. In the second they got NPH doing his voice.(By the way that's Neil Patrick Harris You'd remember him as Doogie Howser or that guy from both Harold and Kumar movies)

Oh hey he's right! Lou is voiced by Neil Patrick Harris in the sequel. He's a cool guy. I thought that was strange cause Lou wasn't shown in the Cats and Dogs 2 sequel trailer. (that's why I thought he wasn't gonna be in it, but I was wrong! ^^ I heard that he was in it but I didn't knew that he was replacing Tobey MaGuire in this one. They also replace Butch too with Nick Nolte (Alec Baldwin play him in the first one.) Seems the only two ones that still kept their original voices for the other one are Mr. Tinkles and Sam (who I'm guessing is the squirrel that went ka-boomy!) I'll have to re-watch the original one again before I give the new one a chance.

No Sam is that one small dog that is always on the computer. I saw Mr. Tinkles in the trailer but I didn't see Lou which was why I thought he wasn't in the movie either but after seeing the cast list I realized that I was wrong lol

I haven't seen this movie yet but my brother and I used to watch the first one all the time so I might watch it, but I woud rather check it out through the library instead of buying it, because I don't think it will be as good without the orginal voice actors in it.
