As strange, cliched, and jarring in many places as it is, I find it to be a guilty pleasure. Anyone else?

I'm going to admit that this movie isn't perfect but what movie really is? I have loved this movie and still love it since I saw it for the very first time back in 1998.
My favorite characters are Kayley and Garrett.

I don't think any movie could be really perfect Katie, but then again...what is perfect? ^^
Quest for Camelot sure is a great movie. Devon and Cornwell still make me laugh cause they're the best outta the rest from the movie, but Kayley and Garrett are great too.
It's funny how I think of the character of Garrett in this movie because I have a 12 year old cousin whose name is Garrett too and he was born in the same year the movie came out too in 1998. I'm starting to wonder if he was named after him lol

I had quite the crush on Garrett as a kid (and still do to this day).

Nothing wrong with that albinotanuki Nadine and I have our own share of cartoon crushes.
I remember a long time ago I made an oc character up of Kayley and Garrett's daughter who still is my favorite oc to this very day :3

You know, as a kid I was always perplexed about the ending where Ruber accidentally gets him and Excalibur stuck in the stone. If that sword has the power to kill Ruber, turn his mecha soldiers back into their original forms, heal Arthur's broken arm, and temporarily separate Devon and Cornwall, why couldn't it do anything for Garrett's blindness? Its like the equivalent of Jesus curing patients in a children's hospital and turning to this one kid with cancer and saying "Oh I'm sorry, but my powers can't do anything for you, but I can give you this gift card from Chili's. Have a nice day.". See how wrong that is?

You know that's probably a good question. But what do we know? Movies leave out unanswer questions all the time so we gotta make up an excuse why things are.
LOL! The joke you made about Jesus and not healing the kid with the cancer sounds sappy. Sad but possibly true XD

Well the way my sister and I always looked at it was all of that stuff really had to do with magic so the stone reversed the magic but because Garrett didn't become blind through the use of magic it didn't restore his sight. And yes I know devon and cornwall's being a two headed dragon thing wasn't caused by magic but dragon's contain magic so maybe that was why it affected them as well.

Well then what about King Arthur's arm? It wasn't broken by magic, the gryphon snapped its beak at him while grabbing Excalibur.

Yea but isn't the gryphon a creature of magic lore as well? That may be why his arm was fixed

That may be why his arm was fixed Yeah, but wouldn't the gryphon have injected some sort of magic venom into Arthur's arm if that were the case? If that were the case, then I would accept that, but until, I'm just gonna assume that Excalibur has a deep seated prejudice against blind people or that Merlin secretly cast some sort of spell on Garrett so his sight wouldn't be cured because he's really a sadist and secretly likes to watch people suffer.

True or that the writers were being really cruel and didn't give Garrett back his eye sight.

Maybe the writers were too lazy to go back and fix the problem. A simple mistake done at the last minute.
