Other than Quack Pack and 101 Dalmatians the series, this was also another favorite that I love so much from the 90s. I was so into it, that I don't care if they kept showing repeats, I would still watch them over and over again whenever it was on.
I even remember that when they move the show to 6:30am, I made my mom remind me to get up early so I could watch it on time lol! My favorite was Bagheera. He was so CUTE! And truthfully in my options, his character was more better than the grown-up version in the movie. I always like Bagheera because he was so smart outta the rest of the group lol.

Oh yes I remember this show too. It was one of my all time favorite ones of the 90s besides Bonkers, Gargoyles, 101 Dalmatians and Aladdin anyway.
Bagheera was my favorite character in the show too since it gave a whole different view on his personality from the older one in the movie and the fact that I'm a total cat person lol.
Shere Khan was my second favorite though. I liked how he wasn't entirely a bad guy like he is in the movies.

You know what's stupid? When the show was around, it took me a long time until it got cancel to figure out WHY Shere Khan wanted to hang out with Baloo and the others in the first place lol! Cause I keep forgetting that there's a difference between that and the movies.
Shere Khan would of look like a great buddy to hang out with if he wasn't so darn mean as the villian in the films. But he still had that rotty attitude. I remember what a idiot jerk he was from this episode where he prove to the others that he wasn't scared and should of gone to this dark mountain where some bossy baboons live at heh XD

Oh yes I remember that episode it's one of the only 4 episodes I have with me today lol.
I guess one of the things I didn't quite understand was how later on Shere Khan becomes a jerk and how Baloo and Louie aren't friends anymore when they're adults

Yeah that's what I couldn't figure out either. They kinda explain it in the second season when they got older, but it wasn't so clear. The good part I only see after the end of the series was that Baloo and Bagheera were the only ones who still stay as true friends and I think we got Mowgli to thank for that.
The only thing I didn't like about the show was the animation in the second season. It wasn't so flawless enough in a good way and they made Shere Khan and Bagheera look too skinny, but some of their designs didn't look so half bad on the others.

I think Kaa looked the most normal out of all of them. Baloo's personality pretty much stayed the same as the adult version of him I think. And I think because I mainly paid attention to only Bagheera and Shere Khan over time their designs didn't bother me at all.

I'm a really big fan of the orginal Jungle Book movie, but I don't remember watching this show as a kid, so I was wondering if you guys thought Shere Khan was better on the Jungle Cubs or on TaleSpin.

I have to say I think I like Shere Khan better in Jungle Cubs than he was on Talespin. In Talespin, he just felt like the same old bad guy to me from the movie....expect with good taste in clothing lol!
If you don't remember much of the show Quazie, you can just always look it up on Youtube. There's lots of episodes from the 1st and 2nd season.

Yeah there is a whole bunch of episodes of it on youtube as Nadine pointed out but as far as TaleSpin goes I think I preferred him as the Shere Khan cubbie he was much cuter that way lol. But he did have a really good and expensive taste in clothing in TaleSpin lol
