Anyone ever heard of this show? Its about these teenagers who are clones of historical figures going to high school. Granted, its for audiences 18 and older and it only lasted one season (some say it was because India didn't like the show's portrayal of Ghandi, but I think its because people had mixed feelings for the show's strange sense of humor), but its sorta becoming a guilty pleasure for me.

Never heard of the show, but the opening theme is the weirdest ever! What channel did it used to be on?

Never heard of the show, but the opening theme is the weirdest ever! What channel did it used to be on? Its was on both MTV and TeleTOON for some time around 2003. You are right though; the show can be pretty weird at times, but I think thats what gives it its charm. Here are some clips (the ones that I found most appropriate for this site) of how strange the show can be:

This probably won't surprise anyone but since I have never really watched MTV this is the first time I've ever heard of this show before lol.

Don't feel surprised yourself Katie. I never even watch MTV either lol! The only good thing that comes off from that channel is just the music videos, but they don't do it anymore. Sad really!

Yeah, I'm not a big MTV fan myself and frankly, the show DID sometimes go into those early 2000's MTV cliches that I hate, but mostly it the show makes up for it for its clever historical humor and silly surrealism.
Yeah, its a fairly obscure tv show that only a handful of people know about and it only lasted one season. Some say the reason the show got canceled was people in India didn't like how the show's Gandhi character was depicted as, lets say, a little more wild and a little less conservative than the real Gandhi. While I understand how some shows might not translate well in other countries for one reason for another, I find that reason alone to be a bit ridiculous for three reasons.
1. He's not the real Gandhi, he's a clone as well as a cartoon. 2. Being as this Gandhi was born as raised in America, he's most likely going to act like you're typical rowdy American teenager. 3. I'm surprised no one else has complained about the depictions of other historical figure clones in the show; You've got Marie Curie who's grotesquely deformed to the original being exposed to radiation, Genghis Khan who's depicted as being mentally challenged when in fact the real Genghis Khan was a very intelligent and strategic warlord, and shouldn't Cleopatra be Greek instead of Egyptian?
Oh well, maybe its a cultural thing or maybe people got bored and wanted to protest something just for the Heck of it. Of course, what do I know? My sense of humor stems mostly from watching South Park and Nostalgia Critic, so it kinda takes much more for me to get offended by anything.
